"Well.. I am glad you came along. I would be in fewer pieces for sure if you hadn't."
"I am equally glad."
Both of the Drokagr women would follow behind Thrawn, Fyrra holding on to her bodyguard for support for a few good paces until her leg started working again. The very presence of her bodyguard helped her spirit repair its body. A strange characteristic all Drokagr had, they felt better in the company of their own kind. Not in the mental sense, but physically. Though it did not matter how many of their kin were around. Just one other was enough to gain the health benefits. Fyrra was glad for her heritage in this regard. So long as Merrake was around she knew she would be healthy, and likewise for her bodyguard.
This time Merrake kept her weapon in hand instead of putting it away. This dungeon had so far proven far too dangerous to just tuck her weapons away and think that all the danger had passed. Each encounter had become increasingly more dangerous as they delved further into the dark.

Bottom Bar Hallway Light Level: Dim -Thrawn's lantern -Unlit Brazier --Fuel: 68%
The Bottom Bar Hallway was long, about thirty meters long, and ended with the bands and hinges of a door jutting out from the wall. The iron had survived the years of decay, but it had rusted in place. There was no wood left over to speak of, it had been devoured, burned, or otherwise rendered into nothing ages ago. The brazier was located halfway down the hallway, there were no pitfalls to be seen. The only obstacle was the door itself, as the bands were halfway open, jagged, rusted, and sharp. Getting past them would be a challenge.
The Banded Iron Obstacle -Actions Available: --Destroying: Hit threshold: 50, HP: 50/50 Each. --Moving: Strength roll, Difficult: -30 --Slipping Past: Skill Rating roll
Fyrra's Skill: 17 Merrake's Skill: 13 Thrawn's Skill: 15
Failing a roll will wound the character, dealing 25 dmg, with a 15% chance to transmit a disease.
(Ignore the misfortune.)

"That...doesn't look healthy," Thrawn said when they arrived at the rusted door.
After a brief examination Thrawn could tell that throwing himself at the thing like he did with most doors might prove painful at best and poisonous at worst. But seeing as that was the only way forward and hopefully out of the catacombs, they had to go through it.
"Fortunately there's more than one way to break a door," he said hefting his mace and getting ready to swing. "Get ready, in case whatever's behind it is unfriendly."
With that Thrawn would wail at the door with the bone mace until it gave in. Attack door.

"I think perhaps... oh you're set on breaking it... stand back, Kalimbra. We don't want to get caught by a rebound."
Fyrra allowed Merrake to help her move back out of Trans way. They stood a good two meters behind him. Merrake braced her ears and Fyrra did the same, expecting loud noises to follow. Once Thrawn started attacking the twisted and rusted metal bands both of them were glad they did so.
Though they could see fine they did not want to be deaf to any foes that may have been attempting to sneak up behind them. Fyrra looked over her shoulder to check, just to make sure they were alone in the hallway.

The Slanted Hall
In front of Thrawn was the entrance to another hallway. However, this hallway had obviously suffered some kind of collapse as the entire thing was slanted down at a 45 degree angle. The hall was about fifty meters long and near the middle of it was another threshold, this one had no door. Yet due to the downward grade this threshold was twenty five meters from the sloped floor of the hallway as it was on the same level of the threshold the group had just opened. The rock walls looked like they could be climbed but that task would be hard. The hall ran south to north, with their threshold at the south end at the halls highest point.
At the halls lowest point was a pit, to them it would appear bottomless.
The Sloped Hallway Obstacle:
Due to the grade of the hallway, the characters must each pass a strength test to prevent themselves from sliding. Each failed test will make them slide ten meters. If the character slides all fifty meters they fall into the pit.
The pit itself appears bottomless, who knows where it actually ends however. It could be a way out, or it could remove the character from the thread.

"Oh dear... I did not expect that."
Fyrra said poking her head around the corner into the hallway. The slope was scary. The pit at the end of it was scarier, and the climb to the door looked extremely difficult.
"Merrake what do you think?"
The bodyguard took a look and started looking around the floor for a rock or something. Turned around and went back the way they came into the room that they had defeated the skeleton. She had brought it's skull and turned to Thrawn to say:
"Thrawn, toss this down the hallway. We will listen to what happens to it when it enters the pit."

"Ah, would you look at that, more iron, lovely." Thrawn said picking up the ingots after the door flew open.
It was when he saw the rest of the hallway did he realize that things were not as lovely. Aside from not know where the pit lead, or how to get across without slipping into said pit, they were not particularly equipped to climb to the door.
"Well...that's exactly what we needed." he sighed as he looked around for any ways they could get across without falling into the pit.
When Merrake returned with the skull Thrawn shrugged and tossed into the pit listening for any sounds that indicated how deep it was or what could be awaiting them down there.

At first Fyrra thought the situation was hopeless. The first few sounds were sad sounds. Bone bouncing down the slope towards the pit. It had a particular sound that made her tighten her jaw every time she heard it. Then there was the splash. A splash that sounded like water.
Perhaps an underground river? There were plenty of those in the Darthaks. It would explain Sorath's sewer system. She couldn't smell anything that was out of the ordinary. No smell of waste or filth. Perhaps the water was clean?
"Thrawn, Merrake, you heard the splash too, yes? Would it follow that the skull landed in a underground pool or river that feeds Sorath's water systems?"
"Maybe? I don't know how far that system extends. But if it is a waterway there should be a surface access."
