"That's reasonable. Is there a contract for this or can I just pay you and receive the deed?"
Mable wasn't one for property ownership, being a caravan leader. However, things were changing. He'd need a more stable location, a safe place to retreat to, if things got any more dangerous. This could work well for him.

While the city of Sorath itself was lacking in terms of supplies, the caravan outside the city had no such problems. Thrawn perused the wears, his newly acquired money burning a hole in his coin purse, he found himself at Cera Kingsworth's supplies.
The health potions caught his attention, and so did the iron ingot and the uncut leather, he has been meaning to try his hands at weapon and armor smithing lately.
"Two health potions, two iron ingots and two pieces of uncut leather please," Tharwn asked the shop keeper and took out the required amount of Ritz.

Tyr cocked his head at Kable and tried to look like he was calculating things in his head for a few moments. With their friendly business relationship being what it was he already figured he could trust the caravan owner. The risk was already quite low, as long as Kable didn't burn the structure down Tyr didn't lose anything.
"I think we can manage without a contract. I do not have the deed on me however. If it is agreeable then send the money with Na'ka and I will leave the deed with her to bring back to you."

Kable nodded. Of course that was agreeable. Paying the maintenance fee would be easy what with all the foot traffic he got on a nearly daily basis. Being able to travel and get new goods and bring them to places that otherwise don't have any was a great business model for him. He was richer for it.
"Of course, that is fine. I appreciate your business and good treatment, Duke Mardok."

It'd been several days since Kell had left Nelara, not a difficult journey once again, just long. The trade caravan wasn't difficult to find, he'd walked up the highway a bit and there it was, convenient, was good to have though, they'd be needing a lot of resources and currently they weren't in a state to produce them, so for now the caravan would have to do.
On a whole there didn't seem to be a whole lot on sale, although there was iron, again which was convenient considering that was what he had actually come for. He counted out the ritz to buy himself three ingots onto the surface, placing each carefully to make sure that he didn't miscount and mistakenly cheat the shopkeeper. Once he'd paid he gathered up his purchases, holding them as well as he could and definitely not looking forward to the journey back carrying all of these with him.
Just before he could start his journey back though he caught side of a red leather sash, it looked quite handy, and the colour appealed to him. It was only two ritz, he could afford that right surely? And because he had it where was the harm in buying two potions and two rations of dragonfruit to go into it. And while he was here he might as well buy that lovely shortsword that was on sale right? Right....? He probably shouldn't be trusted with money. Taking a moment to review, his purchases were all necessary in some form, he had lamented the lack of a weapon on his travels before, at least now he would have some way to defend himself, even if the most he knew of swordsmanship was wave it at them not yourself. The potions were for when he inevitably failed hugely at his swordsmanship.
A thought struck him, soon his county would be up to production again, selling his excess materials off to the caravan might not be the worst idea he'd ever had, funds were low as is so even the little boost from selling surplus could be useful. But that was an idea to entertain once he had excess, or any materials at all for that matter.

Following his failed attempt at smiting Thrawn decided to try again and purchase more crafting supplies, this time in bulk.
He found the trading caravan and decided while he was there to grab some healing potions as well.
"Ten iron ingots, ten leather and five healing potions please," he requested as produced the coin for it.

On his way to Innorsford Kell went slightly out of the way in an attempt to find Kable's caravan, which luckily enough for him didn't take all that long to find. It seemed safe at first glance, they seemed to employ Skaldi and surely a trade caravan this far from the capital wouldn't drive him away so long as his coin was good, he shouldn't be at too much risk here.
Unfortunately it was a brief visit to the caravan, he needed as much time as he could before darkness set so couldn't afford to spend long, he had enough time to grab what he wanted and leave and that was about all. At the stall selling weaponry he bought himself a pair of daggers, once again he had no real idea how to use them but having them on him at least meant he had some sort of backup weapon should he need it, plus they were easier to conceal. A bow followed them shortly as well as a quiver full of arrows, he questionned the sense of having just wooden tipped arrows, but they seemed tougher than he'd initially thought and surely if he fired them with enough strength they'd do some damage. A set of armour made from hardened leather followed this up, stapping on securely underneath his travelling cloak, he was starting to feel slightly more prepared, but still somewhat lacking.
The materials caught his eye as they always did, but light was wasting and he wouldn't be needing them for now, when he came back he could get some. If he came back

When he heard that the caravan had come by Innsford Thrawn decided to go out and check if they had anything new, also to stock up on crafting equipment. Might as well do something while he was stuck there.
Though the caravan offered nothing new had did want to try his hand in archery. It made hunting easier and there was no denying the range advantage. With a shrug Thrawn decided to go for it. "Hey Kable, I'll take that Longbow, a quiver and twenty five-no wait- fifty arrows, and five iron ingots and five leather " he said presenting 100 coins to the trader.

During the long journey that Pip had endured he had come across something that the people in it called "Kable's Trade Caravan". He had some gold on him and wanted to buy some stuff that he saw on sale. Pip quickly saw that sash could be of use to him as it would provide some protection to his groin.
"How much for this sash Pip asked"
Pip soon got a quick response and learnt that it would cost him 2 gold. He also saw a bow, some arrows and a quiver that he might want in the future.
"How much for the bow set"
He next found out that they would cost him 25 gold which Pip was taken aback by as this was a lot of money to him. He only had 50 gold to spend anyway. Knowing he could handle a 2-handed weapon 1-handed because of his ancestral strengt, he wanted another one handed weapon as well.
"How much for the dagger too"
He knew then that daggers were 2 Gold each. After buying all this stuff he left in quite a happy mood.

The market the docks had been a lot of fish, and not much else... at least nothing he could really make use of for the journey ahead. This caravan wasn't a lot better, there wasn't much he could use, but as he perused the wears he found rations for the journey and a sash that would make it easier to carry a few more things, but otherwise it was as much of a bust as the docks market. Though a healing potion or two couldn't hurt.
To Cera, "I'll be having 8 rations and 2 potions." He paid the merchant before moving to the next.
To Baila, "I'll be having one of your sashes." He paid the merchant and was on his way.

Kell was back, it hadn't taken him all that long to get to the caravan, luckily they'd been set up fairly close and he'd just had to walk up the highway a bit to get to them. It was quite nice to be in the midst of a bustling market, he'd not been back here for a while and within his own lands he didn't see people all that often, an unfortunate effect of him trying to keep his ownership secret.
One thing he didn't produce within his lands was leather, he had no adequate huntsman who could supply him with a steady supply of it and so unfortunately it was one of those things he had to buy, an unfortunate cost but he hoped within time he'd be able to begin supplying it himself.
"I'll take 100 pieces of leather, and delivery to Nelara county, would there be a discount available for me buying it in bulk?" It'd be nice to be able to get some money off but he wasn't counting on it.
