Well that had been much easier than he'd expected, Arthurius was directed towards a man sitting under a large canvas tent n a chair with a large wooden table in fret of him. You could tell he was in charge here if not from the fact his tent was nicer than the others than from the fact he had a desk and chair in it.
the merchant leader produced the necessities for a loan of this sort, Arthurius began to write his details down on e paper, it wasnt exactly hard he knew exactly what he wanted to do with he money and the rest was just simple details about himself. His name is Arthurius Vallance, his town of origin was Lockhollow, a small town in the south, his occupation was an alchemist/herbalist, now the last part required slightly more detail so he obviously wrote a bit more to it.
What he wrote- I require a loan of approximately 250 ritz in order to purchase alchemical supplies and possibly a building to use for my work and the sale of my wares, the aforementioned amount is necessary as some supplies are not particularly cheap and building hire as well as paying blacksmiths for certain tools and labour to get certain ingredients, those combined will eat a fair chunk of the money itself which is why I have come in hope for this loan.
Everything he had written was true, he needed the money if he wanted to get anywhere, and this had seemed like the best place to get it from, if not the only one around, if he had to he would be willing to barter some more with this man, if worst came to worse he was sure he could bear to work for the caravan for a time co earn some money, surely he'd need an alchemist to join their convoy.

"This is fine then. Two hundred fifty ritz. Standard rate is five percent, compounded weekly, for ten weeks. Making the total reconciliation of the loan two thousand five hundred twelve ritz, five duc. If you agree to these terms, sign your name. Once that's done, I'll write a loan-cheque. Take it to the Bank of Sorath, and withdraw the money into your own account. If you fail to pay us back we'll seize assets and capital from you until you've paid us in full. Upon delinquency you will be charged ten percent of the delinquent amount weekly. Those are the terms." -- Kable
Arthurius can now secure the loan. If he agrees to the terms, 250 ritz will be deposited to his account.

The whole thing was going swimmingly...until he saw what he would be expected to pay at the end of the loan period, it was a larger sum of money than he'd ever held in his hands before, he was becoming slightly anxious, would he be able to gather that much money in such an amount if time.
the way Kable said it was emotionless, to him it was just fact whereas to Arthurius it was the make or break moment, but he took it.
signing his agreement to the document Arthurius hoped he knew what he was doing, although he was sure that with funding he could sort something out in ten weeks that could earn him the money he needed to pay it back.
He looked expectantly at Kable, waiting for the aforementioned bank note that he could cash in Sorath

"Alright. Good. Here you go. Remember to make your payment at the Bank of Sorath by the time ten weeks have passed." --Kable
Kable cut him a loan-cheque for 250 ritz, and filled in the blank spaces with the other information so the bank would know how much interest to charge on what kind of basis.
Transaction complete.

"I'll remember...thanks" the last part being almost an afterthought as he left the camp, trudging out, sure his situation had just gotten a hell of a lot better but it had also gotten a lot worse also, he now had the possibility of a giant debt looming over his head if he couldn't turn this money into enough to pay the caravan traders back, that could turn really nasty if he mishandled it.
Arthurius clutched the loan-cheque tightly in his hand, he couldn't let this out of his site for now, looking suspiciously around as if someone were about to steal it although most were just wondering about the creepy man holding a piece of paper as if it were a lifeline.
Arthurius set off though from here making a beeline to Sorath to cash in his cheque

The purpose of Torin's trip had been twofold, he had wanted to try the mead, and he had heard that the trade Caravan was not too far south. He only had the clothes on his back, and that had nearly been the death of him when he had encountered the lizard beast. It was best to get a decent sword and maybe some armor for those times his swordsmanship wasn't up for the job of deflecting his opponents attacks. Torin had brought with him all kinds of shiny gold coins when he had fled from Teachers cave, they had been in the same bag he had found the book in. He really had no notion of their value, but at least knew they could be used to purchase goods.
The sword was the most important part of what he was here to purchase this day. There were people bustling about trying to hock their wares, he picked up one of the blades gave it a twirl to check its balance. It was good enough for his purposes, at least for now. He passed off whatever gold was required to the vendor and continued to search for some decent armor that would fit his frame. One of the vendors offered leather armor which could be adjusted a bit to fit someone, he found some leather armor that fit well enough and bought a leather sash as well.
Torin noted their sale of raw materials, something he may return for in the future, but he had what he came for. Passing a fruit stall as he left he purchased what is quite possibly the most expensive fruit he had ever come across, but with no notion as to the value of the coins, and seeing that the fruit was one coin each, he assumed he had gotten his weapons and armor for a fair price. So he shelled the coins required to acquire six of the rations, and the he set out to to return to Mordak.
Purchasing: 1 shortsword, 1 hard leather armor, 1 leather sash, 6 dragonfruit rations. 23 gold total.

Fordeth Xth-Immediately upon returning to Corday Duchy after the events of ALWHI- Yet again, the Caravan appeared on Henri's lands. He wondered how fast this damn thing traveled, and decided he'd just have to ask the person supposedly in charge of the place. Of his own accord this time, he stepped in and took a look around. He found the weapons shop quickly. His words with the shopkeep were short. "I've heard a man named Kable runs this place," he said, "I'd like to meet him. Would you let him know I'd like to visit with him?" He then bought one of each item (except the shortbow which was redundant, and two daggers). Shortsword 10 Ritz
2x Dagger 4 Ritz
Longbow 15 Ritz
50 Wooden Arrows 10 Ritz
Small Quiver 10 Ritz
Next, he went to the armor shop and bought what the girl working there had in stock. "Lovely to meet you," he said, "I'd like one of each in stock. And please, let your boss Mr. Kable know that I invite your entire company to dine in my Hall tonight. Fair business and genuine kindness." Hard Leather Armor 5 Ritz
Leather Sash 2 Ritz
Last, he went back to the shop who'd before scorned him. "Cera," he said, "Sorry about last time. Truly my bad. Sometimes can't control what I say in front of beautiful women. Anyway, I'll have ten rations of Dragonfruit. Wait, better make that eleven--I have someone to repay." He smiled. "Oh hells, why not. Could I buy your entire stock of leather and iron, as well?" A devilish look came into his eye. He wanted this Kable to know he meant business. 11 Dragonfruit 11 Ritz
55 Iron Ingots 275 Ritz
90 Uncut Leathers 450 Ritz
"I hope you all attend dinner tonight," he said to Cera, as his laborers came and pushed carts of iron and leather into the storage rooms of Corday Manor. Feeling pretty satisfied with himself as he walked out of the caravan square, he didn't take time to try out his new arms and armor. He would prepare for dinner that night, as he had many guests to host. Total: 792 Ritz "It's the least we can do. The pleasure will be ours." -- Kable.

Arthurius walked back into the trade caravans, this time with the scent of money on his nose, he'd recently seen about another job on the notice boards around town, a job that could potentially make him a fair amount of money. This time there was a gold reward for anyone who could bring supplies to the failing town of Innorsford. This was a once in a lifetime chance for him, the reward for bringing the supplies there would cover his debt and leave him something extra for himself.
This time knowing where he had to go he walked up to the caravan's owner, knowing that it was Kable. Last time while he'd been looking for a loan and some supplies he'd noticed the fact that this caravan sold rather a lot, presumably it sold the items on this list as well, he knew for certain it'd have dragonfruit as he'd seen some here before, but the iron, shortbows and arrows he'd just have to hope.
Arthurius walked straight up to Kable, "I'd like to hire your services to deliver some supplies to Innorsford, how much will it cost for you to make the delivery for me. "

"Depends on the amount of items, and if you'll be getting them from us. We'll transport up to a hundred items to any city, town, or duchy for ten gold. Anymore than a hundred items will cost another ten gold per hundred. What are you shipping, and where are you shipping it to?" --Kable

This was perfect for him, nothing more than what he'd expected and not an especially unreasonable sum. "I'd like to buy these items from you in fact, 10 shortbows and small quivers as well as 500 arrows all transported to Innorsford. I'd also like to ensure that this shipment is well protected for obvious reasons. And if at all possible i'd like to be allowed to ride along with it."
Arthurius roughly went over the numbers in his head, realising that the money he would make here could potentially be a rather large sum, if this went off without a hitch then at the end of the day he should be out of debt once the delivery got there, it'd be great to have this debt removed from his head, better than great, amazing in fact. And to have the man to whom he owed this debt help him clear it would be quite amusing as well.
"I'd be willing to pay extra for the protection of this shipment if it is required? Of course, i'm paying on delivery, gotta make sure they get there."

"Protection? You want to go along with the shipment yourself, but don't plan on protecting your interests? You gotta pay up front then. We've got Trusk and Brusk for traveling protection. They'll cost you a fair bit of coin by themselves. If that's the route you're going to go it'll be 310 for the goods and the shipping, 250 for Trusk, 250 for Brusk. So we're talking 810 ritz. You got enough capital for that kid?" -- Kable

Arthurius considered it for several seconds, by spending that much money on the whole tihng he was going to have some serious fun getting any profit at all out of this endevour. Essentially, he would get absolutely none for doing this, it wasn't worth his time but surely there was some worth in attempting to reason with Kable and hoping for the best with it.
"Could you not throw in the protection for free on account for the size of the order and the fact that i'm a constant customer?"

Guinevere had watched the interaction between the Kable Company, and Arthurius. Who she had just recognized on account of the dragon-head shaped shoulder pad. He was messing up his chances badly of even getting Kable to talk to him. It was almost a laughable attempt, as she learned that the Alchemist owed Kable money. Now if that was not asking for an immediate failure. These people only likely spoke in terms of money. Now was the time to intervene. For the future hope of Innorsford. Perhaps she could even make something of this connection. They were close enough neighbors at this point. Something to be gained for everyone. " How about we ignore this kid,[/i]" Not so much in meaning Arthurius was young but inexperienced, " And I'll offer 1,000 Ritz, if we can try and make the trip go just a little faster." Trying to play down what might be seen as an offense offer made by Arthurius. " Though, if you would not mind delivering this as a gift from the Lady Mayor of Viktoria." Assuming this was something simple to ask of the man. After all, she was paying more than fair. She was also testing the boundaries of Kable's good side, if there was one.

Kable blinked for a moment at the half-elkagr that stepped up to his table. Na'ka nodded at him. It could be done.
"For a thousand ritz? We can see about how fast we can get it there. Would you like any other supplies to go with the caravan. Or just the bows, quivers and the arrows? I assume you want Brusk and Trusk to go along, Lady Mayor of Viktoria. What about said, kid? He did request to come along with the shipment." -- Kable
Kable and Lady Guinevere Lythe are now friends!
