Provincial Governor, Duke Scyld Redgar Karligar House Troops & Morith Militia
The city of Morith is resisting orders from the Sovereign Kingdom of Cruinthe on their governor's orders, King Redgar Karligar . Other players may join in the fight as it happens. A total of eighteen enemy battalions are attempting to invade the city. Being anywhere in the city will guarantee combat, as Morith's defenses are well overrun. Because Morith's defenders are outnumbered 1.56:1 they will lose fighters at a higher rate throughout the thread until the scale balances. Morith's defenders will not break and run, they are fighting for their families and homes. Individual SKC soldiers can be scared off if their entire squad or platoon is wiped out. Duke Redgar Karligar had started something insane. He had started a battle over Morith, in its very streets, on its very walls. Resistance against a regime that overstepped its bounds. That was borderline tyrrany. In his eyes, infringing upon the rights of the nobles was the worst thing that could be done. It was the one thing that he would not sit idly by and allow to happen. Perhaps the history books would look at this resistance as something more noble. As a protest against the pogroms that took place in the city days before. As a reaction to the horror that the SKC was capable of perpetrating. It was more selfish than that in truth. He believed the city belonged to him, as he was its chosen governor. In fact he believed the entire province belonged to him. Palejaw had dispatched troops to his city without his permission. Without a discussion. Without true notice. He saw it as an invasion. So he incited the Morith militia to fight. Every citizen capable of wielding a weapon would be. He mounted his dire wolf, Baalrung, and would ride into battle with his halberd. Eleven total blocks towards the breach where the 77th, 76th, and 78th battalions were pushing through. THey were the closest to the tower, so they were the most immediate threat. He'd allow the battle lines to cover him, and would approach individual enemies that broke through or squads from wolfback. Jorkahn had never met Regdar Karligar, in fact, all he knew about the man was that he was responsible for the extortionist tolls to cross through his land and that he was a rather selfish individual. That was the only reputation that proceeded the man. However, the Champion of Jewels had a duty to the people of Morith, even if he was here for more selfish reasons. Though he did care about the life of the citizens here to an extent, the boy came to route the siege in order to stop the SKC from gaining a further foothold in the kingdom and threatening the lands of those he cared about. Sorath was not too far to the north where N'Ranmba Rul was located. And though it was a ways to the north-west, Mardok Duchy could eventually be under threat. But alas, not even these reasons fueled him the most. What he wanted more than anything else was an outlet for his anger. A source to direct his hatred and frustration. And what better source than the racist kingdom itself?
Jorkahn was in-between Red Oaks and Southern Canton when the 87th broke through the walls of the city and began pouring in. Seeing as none of the Morith Militia were around the boy placed himself between the tower and the SKC in plain sight. He wasn't too far from cover if there was any. He hoped they didn't have bows or mages in the mix otherwise the Champion wouldn't last very long. He took a good long look at the troops he could see, trying to take their measure and pick out their leaders. It wouldn't do him well to rush into the fight.

Warehouse District
Allyria hadn't expected war to breakout in the streets of Morith. She expected the pogroms, and she expected to need to send her family away to Agharta. She had opened a portal of safe travel for them and let them pass through it to Agharta. The old castle had recently been refurbished and was in the process of having its crumbling walls and structures replaced. Many of the older buildings would be replaced by the end of the month. Things like the stables and barracks. She was loath to send the children away with Remy and not go with them. The young man would take care of them. He had taken a hell of a beating in Sorath. He was a loyal man. She respected him for it.
But she and Vekkia had to stay behind. Allyria had to fight, and Vekkia had to arrange to make sure their friends and their property got out of the city if necessary. She would be a runner between groups as much as she disliked being involved in these things. She wore a cloak to keep her eyes shaded, but the bright light of the day was a little too much to allow her to fight well on the front lines.
Allyria instead would be fighting. In the warehouse district, close to her own property, the fighting had already started. Blood was running down the streets, fires had been started, enemy soldiers were climbing over the walls and were already in the district. She would move towards the closest group of enemy infantry, The 80th battalion. They would rue the day they set foot in Morith.
She prepared for battle by bringing up a shield, and calling down arcane rain.

Frontlines -Northern Canton
Fyrra was less confused as to how she wound up in the middle of Morith during a war, and more concerned with making it out of the city in one piece with Merrake. They had to stop in Morith for more provisions before returning to Innorsford after their clandestine trip and activity in Sorath. Or more, Fyrra's clandestine activities. Merrake was none the wiser to what Fyrra accomplished aside from actually getting the purchase for the house's supplies completed. When the 81st Battalion began spilling over the walls in Northern Canton behind them, and the militia gathered to fight them off, Fyrra felt like she needed to contribute to the battle.
"We can fight too! Show these people we aren't something to just benefit from their sacrifice. That we're willing too!"
"I don't like it, Kalimbra. This is a war!"
"It's come to follow us."
"Who knows why they're here. Who knows why those people are fighting! We should leave!"
"We should fight!"
"I... I don't know what to do with you. You infuriate me when you do this!"
"I understand you are sworn to protect me. I am going to fight. You can fight with me or not."
"Fine! But if we survive, I'm killing you!"
Fyrra would keep the militia between her and the enemy SKC forces. They took cover behind a few barrels that had been knocked over in the ruckus. Merrake would be prepared to fire arrows at any enemy soldiers that broke through.

King Redgar Karligar -Encountered enemies: 76th Battalion3 Infantry Out from the masses came three enemies poised to knock Redgar down off his dire wolf, Baalrung. They wielded spears, and were jabbing frantically at the beast, yet none made a commitment to attack him. These three men had broken through the militia lines, killing their inidivdual quarries and looking to put an end to this little rebellion with a simple spear stab. They recognized Duke Redgar's likeness in that he rode atop a huge black beast, like the stories had started to say. He had been riding the thing for months after all. It would get around in a world of horses, that a man was riding a wolf. They would beat back the militia rallying around Southern Canton easily if they could take down the duke. Jorkahn Wealddir -Encountered Enemies: 87th Battalion5 Infantry Jorkahn was all that stood between the 87th and the rest of the city. No militia had gathered there in the southwest corner between Red Oaks and Southern Canton. He was all that defended those regions of the city, and soon he would find himself surrounded by enemies. Enemies that were haughty, aggressive, and at the very least: honorable. They only surrounded him five at a time. These five were infantry sporting spears. Ready to stick him like the half-breed pig they thought he was. Allyria Allenmorde -Encountered Enemies: 80th Battalion6 infantry 4 archers Battle raged already! Ten enemies had Allyria surrounded before long, stepping out into the magical rain that was bombarding the area from the sky. They did not realize it was deadly or harmful when they stepped inside it. They meant to attack her, and kill her. She was the dreaded Scarlet. The bounty on her head was huge. One Hundred Thousand Ritz would make any of them rich enough to retire. They were eager for the opportunity to skin the bitch. The Warehouse District was the location of heavy fighting. Fyrra Na'Limndra -Encountered Enemies: 81st battalion5 Archers Merrake and Fyrra would soon find themselves pinned down by enemy fire. They were too far from the melee to be targeted by infantry, but they were close enough to be seen by archers that were dominating the city's northern wall. Those archers spotted them, and soon a squad began to rain down arrows upon them. Northern Canton was not a lonely place, however. As there were many militia fighting in the area.

The Champion of Jewels barely moved a muscle as the 87th promptly surrounded him. Only slight turns of his eyes and head indicated the man so much as registered the soldier's as existing. It seemed they had some small semblance of honor and did not come at him all at once. This would only make things easier for him as long as he didn't make any fatal mistakes.
Jorkahn would be relying on the new armor that Tyr had made him to keep the enemies' spears at bay. With clever positioning and tactical target acquisition, he would come out of this fight the victor regardless of the overwhelming numbers. The half-breed levelled his massive great axe at the nearest soldier, holding it up with one arm. He glared in the man's direction and calmly spoke.
"Flee now if you value your lives."
And before they could respond the warrior spun around and went to chop the soldier behind him in half. Without any hesitation, he would attack two other soldiers on either side of him in an attempt to clear up a flank or two. Whether or not his attack connected he would move onto the next soldier without waiting. The sheer numbers made taking the time to confirm a kill potentially dangerous.
Many people would die today, Jorkahn would do his best to make sure he didn't become a statistic.

"Come now! This is all you have to muster, Palejaw? Just a few thousand men! I can kill these whoresons with an arm tied behind my back!"
Redgar exclaimed to no one in particular. He pushed through the front lines to fight the enemy head on. Three enemy infantry had at once surrounded him and Baalrung. The great Dire Wolf was hungry for the blood of its master's enemies. It would bite, it would claw, it would kill for him. Redgar would remain atop the wolf until it died or he was unseated. And the wolf would fight fang and claw to keep Redgar alive. The beast lunged at the nearest spear wielding infantry man, attempting to bite him in the head.
Redgar followed up by attacking the next nearest with his halberd, slashing at the soldier twice with the axe blade, and then stabbing at him with the spearhead of his weapon. He longed for battle. His spirit sang when he was engaged with enemies in deadly combat. He was probably feeling the most alive when killing someone else.

Take Cover! -Northern Canton
Fyrra and Merrake had taken cover behind some crates, yet it did not matter. They had been spotted by their enemies atop the walls. They rained arrows down into their vicinity. As soon as they had been fired at, Merrake pushed Fyrra's head down farther, to make sure the arc of an arrow did not kill her charge.
"Forgive me Kalimbra, just protecting you."
"I understand. Feel free to protect me. Let me help though, I need to see them to make them stop."
She reached out and caused one archer to lose one of their senses, destroying the nerves between their brain and that sensory organ. Either their ears or their eyes. It was a horrible thing to do, to horribly maim someone like that. But it was equally horrible to kill indiscriminately. Fyrra attempted to get over her qualms about violence. It was surrounding her, permeating everything. Blood pooled in the grout between cobblestones. It ran down the gutters. This was the worst place in the world to attempt to not give in to violence. Reaching out with another spell, she willed a bone to snap in another archer. she did not know which bone would snap, only that one would be broken. She remembered the old Crone, and what she had done to that witch of a cook. The chef had died, but Fyrra had lived through her encounter with Palejaw. That was all that could be said about that.
Merrake, sensing opportunity, stood and fired three shots at the wall, aiming an arrow at a different archer. She could only fire three before attempting to duck again.

A squad of enemies had taken notice of Allyria. They had surrounded her before long, and stepped into the path of her magical rain in the process. The arcane rain fell from the sky, attempting to put holes in their heads, shoulders, and anything exposed overhead. As the rain fell from the sky, allyria prepared to protect herself. She only needed to maintain the magic, it would take care of her foes. She took a defensive stance and prepared to dodge. They could come after her all they wanted. It was unlikely they'd win through or find any weak points in her armor. Allyria was confident in her combat abilities. She would only kill them if they made her.

It had started off easily enough, Redgar had called for Mina to join him in Morith following the former's appointment as Governor. Tyr, having started to court her, opted to accompany her on the trip. Kilinger had decided with the state of the roads that escorting his liege lord was the most prudent course of action. Plus he just wanted to visit somewhere that wasn't another Mardok county. They'd made the ride in relative peace before the sounds and smells of battle finally reached them. There was the clanging of metal, the smoke from fires, the screaming of men meeting their ends. Tyr and Kilinger exchanged a glance before the group took off towards the city. Before closing within range of possible archers, Tyr would hop off his horse and take his packed equipment before Kilinger led it away with Mina. The Duke quickly equipped his new set of armor and weapons before taking off at a trot towards the West Gate. The other pair would ride some ways away and tie the horses up, staying out of the chaos until they managed to catch up on foot. As he closed into range, Tyr would pull out his bow and take three shots at the SKC troops currently attacking the gate. The shots would have immense power behind them, and the arrows were as likely to rip through their targets as they were to stop inside them. It didn't matter much, Tyr just wanted their attention. All they would see is a mountain of a man contained in armor that shined a dark blue, reminiscent of a whole lot of hydrillium. The designs made it look like so much chitin, with mandibles extending down from the helmet. He looked like some giant, nightmarish metal ant warrior thing, and that anonymity allowed him the freedom of unchecked aggression.
