Arthurius strolled down the streets of Morith, having just come from the market and now decked out in all his crap finery that he bought down there, he'd heard there was a job open and had seen the pay, jumping at the chance to do it straight away, the shadow of his debt was always looming over his shoulder, a demon watching over him, a reminder that if he didn't pay it up bad things would happen.....baddd things.
Arthurius made his way right up to the door that had been set as the area where people had been interested in the job should meet. He wondered what the job actually was, all he'd seen on it was flyers, he'd been to focussed on the reward to even begin to tihnk about the job. Presumably it was just handing out some flyers around town, shouldn't be anything to taxing, although for the sort of pay they were offering surely there had to be some sort of catch. But right now he wouldn't care even if there was, he needed the money.
Arthurius knocked confidently on the door of the aforementioned house, hoping that he wasn't to late, hoping that the job hadn' already been taken by somebody else.

An old man answered the door. His beard was long, his hair was white. He had a grand total of four teeth. He was blind in his right eye, and his left eye was made of glass. His skin was so wrinkly, and tan, it was like cheap leather. His back was hunched over to nearly a ninety degree angle. His cane was nearly as gnarled as he was.
His name was Kriket.
And he was such a bastard.
"Ehh? The hell are you doing on my stoop. Get the fuck off my stoop stoop trespasser. I'll stab you. I swear it!"
He pulled a dagger.
Just in the nick of time someone with a voice that was much younger came to the door. It was like a young version of sour gramps came to the door.
"Grandpa, if you don't stop acting like a jackass you'll die sour."
"I was born sour!"
The old man went back into the house.
"You're here for the flyers right? We need them distributed to The Serpent's Head Inn in Sorath. To the Innorsford Town Billboard. The Rusty Widget in Rosterford. And The Drowned Siren, in Jenkirt. Can you handle all that traveling by yourself?"

Down the streets of Morith, a beautiful city on a day like today. Sun shining, birds singing, it was lovely. Gabriel was wearing her normal plain black dress that was lightweight and down to his knees with a black overbust corset over it. Although now Gabriel had an iron vest under his dress, and had Sally, his rapier, by his side. Gabriel also had her normal black choker which consisted of two black lines interweaving.
Gabriel thought he had seen Arthurius down this way, surely he wasn't going to go for the same job Gabriel was going to take. Gabriel had seen the poster earlier that day and jumped at the opertunity of some action, he knew their was going to be some catch as the success gold was too high for just casual flyer handing out. Now, with new found confidence and the gear to help her through Gabriel was sure she could do the mission.
Gabriel thought he had seen Arthurius down this way, surely he wasn't going to go for the same job Gabriel was going to take. As she walked up to where the poster said to meet if you wanted to try for the quest, as Gabriel had already named it in her head, her suspicions were right. He was already their, Gabriel picked up her speed and jogged to the house, "Is the job taken, is their room for one more?"

Arthurius stood at the door just as the oldest and quite possibly most horrible looking old man answered it, the man instantly apparently feeling threatened by him as he was on the offensive from the start, pulling a dagger. Arthurius left his own weapon in it's sheathe, figuring that he could probably avoid blows from a man this old and that pulling a weapon could lose him the job. "I mean you no harm i'm here for the job", Arthurius said at the man, holding up his hands to show they were empty and taking a step back.
Luckily they were saved from this confrontation getting any worse when a younger version of the old man appeared at the door, this one luckily not holding a dagger, so they weren't all crazy as the first one was. They had a small but slightly entertaining arguement before the older man backed off into the house.
The younger one didn't even apologise for what could well have been his grandparent or parent, instead getting straight down to business, talking about the work, "It might be to much work for one but i'm willing to do as much of it as a physically can, it'll get done."
At that moment a familiar face popped up Gabriel had waltzed in as she normally did, it appeared she was also after the job, good, the more people there the quicker it would go. "No, there's still room, the more there are the quicker we can get this done," He said, turning to Gabriel before directing his attention back to the man at the door, "Right?"

Jeshua was wandering the streets of Morith, searching for opportunity, trying to ferret it out if at all possible. There had to be a black market here, there had to be somewhere he could make some coin, he'd spent money at the market, but he hadn't really made any since he got here. A foreboding sign for one who was attempting such an undertaking. He must found himself now in the residential area. In the distance he heard a knock on the door. An old man screaming profanities and threats, Jeshua went to watch, it was more entertainment than looking for opportunities that just weren't there. His ears then caught the word job.
And then there was one more. His elven hearing picking up on the conversation from a ways away. Hmm, job implied an opportunity to make some coin. He was planning on heading to Sorath in the next few days anyhow, and he could always mail the other to his friends still in Delta City. They'd be more than happy to put it up for him.
He approached the others in the middle of their conversation, joining in as if he'd been a part of it the whole time, "I'd say so, easier to divide and conquer. I have some friends back in Delta City I can send one of those off to, and I was already planning on heading to Sorath in the next few days, perhaps I can move my trip up a bit." His pitch done he looked to the other two to see their response, "That is if you don't mind the additional help."

"Look, I don't care how you guys do it or who gets it there. As long as it gets there, alright? Here, you said you'll go to Sorath and Delta? Take these to the Serpent's Head Inn and the Drowned Siren."
The young man said to Jeshua. He pushed the two scrolls at him, praying he would just shut up and get it done. Then he turned to the only other man present. He thrust the two other scrolls at him.
"Here, you take this one to Innorsford... and Rosterford's The Rusty Widget. You miss, accompany him I guess. You seem to know each other. When you three are done return here and I'll pay you. Alright? Now get going before someone notices."
The young man went back inside and shut the door on them, then locked it.
All traveling for the purposes of completing this mission must occur in this thread.

Gabriel looked upon the new member of the 'team'. Gabriel gave him the once over, the new person looked very handsome indeed. He didn't look very suited up for the task ahead, but Gabriel wished him the best of luck. Well...in his head. He had came into the conversation like he had been here all along.
The man had already split them into two teams, funny how he gave everything to the other men then just said to me, who he thought was a girl, to just join Arthurius. Oh well, Gabriel put that though behind him. He looked to the door as it shut and the distinct sound of a lock was heard by all.
"Well this should be fun, are you sure you can handle this by yourself? It will be a long journey." After saying this Gabriel quickly turned round to Arthurius and said, "When your ready just lead the way and I'll follow"

"So I've a few things to take care of now. I need to hire someone to protect me and guide me in my travels to Sorath, and I need to find the local post so I can send off one of these to Delta City." Speaking out loud as he took mental notes. "Either of you know where the post is? Nevermind I'll figure it out. What are we delivering anyways?" he took a moment to scan the documents, "Oh a bounty... shouldn't be too difficult to post these around." Jeshua folded the papers and placed them under his coat.
"I don't suppose either of you know where I could hire a guard or two, would you? I seem to have forgotten to bring any with me..." He looked hopefully at the other two who were standing there. He really did want to make the trip to Sorath, but it would be a lonely several days and while Jeshua had a certain cunning about him, he was in no shape to defend himself should he be attacked.

Where there was two, now there were three, another man had butted into this conversation right in the middle of it, apparently having heard the man speaking and deciding he wanted to be part of it. He began speaking straight away, as if he had been here the entire time and it was no issue that he'd just mysteriously appeared out of nowhere and into their midst. It was slightly concerning, but if there were more of them then the job would be done much much quicker meaning that they would all get their pay much much quicker.
"Sure, you go take care of your things, I have no idea where exactly you can go and find a guard, i'm not a local here and I have never had to purchase one myself, maybe try the market or just ask around, you might get lucky" Arthurius said, only half interested in what the boy had to say, he himself didn't consider the boy much, he was focussing on how to get to the remaining two places,"Gabriel and I will take the Rosterford and Innorsford flyers, we know each other yes." They weren't exactly friends but hopefully she wasn't going to stab him in the back like this other man could, he knew that much of her. He presumed Gabriel would be coming with him as common sense told them that whilst it might take them longer as they'd have to make two journeys together instead of one each, they would have much more protection from attacks if they stayed together, two was much stronger than one.

Gabriel was excited as the adventure beyond the three of them was about to start, Gabriel was right in how the third man properlywasn't fit for going alone and he was asking about guards. Gabriel never had needed to hire a guard so how was he suppose to know. He turned to the man, shrugged his shoulders while saying, "Sorry I can't help you there, maybe a tavern and find someone their maybe. I'm not entirely sure."
Gabriel turned back to his friend partner you could half call it after their half and half adventures beforehand. Gabriel knew he would properly be okay in a fight, but he would have Gabriel so the most firepower. Oh hoy Gabriel couldn't wait any longer and said to authurius, "When your ready, I'm ready Arthurius so just lead the way. When we are on the roads I will protect behind us."

Jeshua looked to the other too and gave them a friendly salute. "Well, I bid you two the best of luck." With that Jeshua set off with a short list of things to accomplish, the first of which would be to send off one of the bounty posters to the Richt twins back in Delta City. Then he supposed the best place to find hired help would probably be the market here in Morith. So he attempted to take off in the general direction of the market, he figured the mail couriers would be near the market place anyways. It would take him a while to arrive at the market as Morith was a large and windy city and he was still rather new to the locale.

Jeshua became lost in the city. Soon he was surrounded by even more unfamiliar buildings and people. In a city the size of Morith, at least 20,000 people, it was normal to get lost if you hadn't been there before, or even if you had lived there your whole life. He wasted four hours wandering around the city, expending quite a lot of stamina before he found the central market.
Jeshua loses 21% of total stamina due to wandering around lost. (-9 Stamina)
Gabriel & Arthurius must pass a combined 25 threshold direction check to leave the city and head in the direction they want to.

"Come," Arthurius said over his shoulder to Gabriel as he left the area that they were standing in, there was nothing more to be gained from here, now they would have to get moving. If they went north to Sorath first he'd heard there wa a decent stables around there from where they could purchase horses, that would speed their journey up tremendously if they could gain a horse each.
"We're going north to Sorath first to obtain some horses so we can travel faster, then we will begin this job in earnest."

After an arduous journey through the innumerable streets of Morith, Jeshua finally arrived at the market. The market was the most likely place to find both courier and someone he could hire to protect him on the road to Sorath. "Courier first..." he said to himself as he scoured the market. Jeshua looked around the market square, but he couldn't pick out a mail courier just looking around so he tried to grab the attention of a passerby. "Excuse me! Excuse me Mam, Yes, would you happen to know where the nearest mail carrier is? Or if not, perhaps where I can hire someone as a guard?"
Please let me know if I need to roll something.
