"You want to know what? Where the mail carrier is? Just use the damn post office ya git."
The lady was not pleased he interrupted her business with his idiocy and shenanigans. How does someone not know how to send mail? You go and you mail it. She had more important things to do, like go gut fish. She was a fish gutter. Carol the fish gutter. She loved her job. It kept her calm and it made her feel like she made an impact. On the lives of fish. That's what she cared about, that's what she wanted to do. She had her little fish gutting knife in her hand just in case though. Ready to gut him like said fish if he tried anything funny.
You should probably haul ass. You know, and not make short concentrated posts like that.

As soon as Arthurius said "Come," to Gabriel he knew that Arthurius would be taking the lead in this quest. Well that wasn't out of the ordinary at least. Gabriel would try taking control of the situation at some points, but for now he guessed that Arthurius had an idea for what would happen here.
"We're going north to Sorath first to obtain some horses so we can travel faster, then we will begin this job in earnest."
Well the idea sounded alright, but their was one big problem that Gabriel could already see forming here. Gabriel quickly said to Arthurius, "Arthurius, there is a slight problem with that plan you do realise. I don't ride. Like never done it before, couldn't that be risky." Of course Gabriel had never ridden before he had to live his childhood in the forest. Well if they carried on with the plan then he would have too learn quickly, but for now Gabriel just followed in behind Arthurius he seemed to know where he was going.

How rude... he was simply asking for directions, it was no wander that men were notorious for failing to do so if they received such treatment for doing so. Anyhow, what she said indicated that the post office's location should be pretty obvious and after wandering around the market area for a few minutes he realized why she had acted so... it was completely obvious. He entered the building, he pulled out one of the posters, he took a sheet of parchment and jotted a few notes for his subordinates.
"Djerika,
I hope this letter finds you well, I have made some progress in Morith, but not much. I have established an office here that shall function as an inn/tavern as well as a workshop. I found a craftsman who seems reliable enough, though he has had a bout of bad luck. I think he will make a fine addition to our team, though I did not let him in on our private details. With this letter you should find a poster, I would like you to hang it in the Drowned Siren. I will soon be heading to Sorath, I will be doing something similar at their Serpent's Head Inn once I arrive. I already had plans for such a trip and will be compensated for my time in doing so. It seemed win-win to me. I will contact you again once I arrive safely in Sorath.
Best Wishes, Jesh"
Writing the letter: J9NxG1|y Simple, Cruic I, High Cruic I, Literacy I, k 15; threshold 60
He stacked the letter and the poster and sealed the two with wax, he indicated that he would like the letter delivered to Djerika Richt in Delta City. He payed whatever fee they required and then he headed back into the market. Now he just needed a guard to keep him safe in his travels. Jesh really wasn't the fighting type, perhaps something he needed to amend, but for the time being he would have to suffice with trading money for protection. He approached one of the guards within the market.
"Excuse me sir, I am sorry to bother you, but would it be at all possible to hire you or one of your peers as a personal guard? I am about to make the long trip to Sorath and am in need of such. I have far more coin than skill with a blade, and I would rather pay someone for protection than be forced to part with my coin by bandits who may find it just as easy to force me to part with my life."
