"Sorath is scarce when it comes to some goods. Any tavern like the serpents head can provide food for you. The ring market has some weapons merchants. Morith has a much greater selection. Kable's trade caravan has a great selection of goods as well. You might have to hop around. Or commission some things. I don't know of any lantern merchants."
Remy shook the man's hand when it was offered. He hoped he was pointing him in the right direction.

Thrawn nodded and took mental notes of all the places Remy mentioned, knowing that he had to do a bit more traveling before heading out to the the catacombs was disappointing, but he would rather be prepared than rush into a dark dungeon with gods know what crawling around there.
"Got it, thanks again, hope to see you soon," Thrawn said as he left the store already planning for where to go next.

Fyrra was feeling particularly lucky that she had snuck past the east gate guards, or rather, that she had charmed her way past those idiots. She found the weakness that human men had for sex a great one to exploit through that endeavor. In her mind she mulled over other ways that she could potentially manipulate those that would do her harm. However, she had a building to provide materials for, and an invoice to be paid. At first she entered the ring market cautiously. But it was midday and there were plenty of people about. There were other pretty faces as well, she had nothing to fear. She made her way around the market to A & F Ventures, the branch in Sorath was near Ne'Ranmba Rul, which she assumed had been hit by the SKC in the earlier pogroms that had engulfed the city. She hoped the Countess was alright. She knocked on the building's door, and then proceeded inside, looking for Remy in particular. "Sir Remy Marshall, are you there?"

Remy came out from the back room of the shop almost immediately. He wore a sword at his side now, and he looked much worse for what had happened to him. Being associated with the countess rendered him vulnerable to a few beatings. He was confused to see the woman before him, she looked familiar but he couldn't place the difference. He held a bandage up to his left eye, and he muttered something through his swollen and busted lips.
He wiped his chin of the blood and cleared his throat.
"Been a few days... I know you don't I? Can't seem to place where I've seen you before. As you may be aware, we are closed. The proprietress is no longer in business in Sorath. I am in fact in the process of packing up the shop."
His good eye lingered on her for a moment while he rolled some contracts and bound them with twine before stuffing them into a bag.
"I know you from somewhere. How do you know my name?"

She gasped when she saw what sort of shape Remy was in. The countess' main employee, her majordomo, had been beaten. It looked to her like he had been beaten within inches of his life. His clothes were stained with dried and fresh blood. No telling how long it had been since he had been captured. She wanted to help him immediately, but some people were freaked out by magic.
"Remy, it's me. Kalimbra Fyrra Na'Limndra. I'm in disguise. What happened to you? Let me heal you! I can fix the damage they did to you."
The Kalimbra looked around the room. There were obvious signs of a fight. Cuts in the walls, some furniture was broken, blood splatter. She didn't really want to know what actually happened to him. She wanted to know how to help. She didn't want to know that soldiers came and trashed the place. She didn't want to know that they kicked the crap out of Remy and interrogated him for days. She didn't want to know how he had to deny even knowing his master was a drokagr, and that he had to disavow her. She didn't want him to say anything after she asked what had happened because she had pieced it together already.
She wanted to embrace him out of empathy but her code and discipline forbade it.
"I'm sorry... you don't need to recount what happened. I can heal you."

"What in the screaming hells are you doing here? If the guards find you they'll rape and flay you."
Remy was surprised at her. Surprised and furious. He didn't even know the Kalimbra that well but it was infuriating that she would risk herself by coming back to Sorath during the heat of racist pogroms and terror.
"Were you followed? Did they see through your disguise?"
He looked out the window and checked the street. The market was as it normally was. Except it was lacking diversity. People were walking around, visiting various vendors, making purchases and selling goods. Concern and fear were evident on his face. He knew he would suffer worse than a beating and interrogation if they figured out who the Kalimbra was and followed her to where he was.

"I know what they'll do to me if they find out, I wasn't followed, they don't know who I am. I need to buy construction materials while I'm here in Sorath and ship them to Innorsford. Also, I know it's been a few months since my performance at Ne'Ranmba Rul, but I haven't been paid for that yet. I'm glad you're alive though. The money can wait until you and your master have figured things out."
The Kalimbra stood clear of the door and moved towards a corner of the room that wasn't visible from the fixed glass windows. She had been watching him pack up. It was obvious he was running for some kind of sanctuary.
"A lot of people against the current regime are moving to Innorsford. We're doing our best to fight back. But the Alliance needs help."
Fyrra gathered her will and started for the door again. This time she would leave and not come back. Sorath was too dangerous, and if she was found out she could not risk leading the enemy to friends.
"If I make it out of the city that's where I will be. Thrawn is there too, as is Merrake. We'll be doing our best to fight back."
With that said she would leave the building and Remy behind, not knowing if she would ever actually be back, and if things would ever actually be the same. The war had become that much more real to her in the span of a few short minutes.
