Guinevere Lyethe was still in Fordeth, and she was still trying to slave over doing some paper work. Other than an account that was her parents, she was something on her own. It felt pointless, trying to go over interest rates...What she could make, versus what she felt she could in good conscious charge a person. Guinevere had taken a look at the rates charged by others, Kable's Company mostly. They ended up charging several times over what the person could afford. Wasn't there a better way? People came to get help, why dig them into a further whole without a plan? Guinevere scratched at a few number, Five percent, at a monthly rate, charged to 200 ritz? That would make me?
Roll for Accounting: Who fucking knows. Probably wasted effort. Guinevere leaned back into the chair, looking out into the streets of Fordeth. She wore a simple purple dress, a slit rode up the left leg. Around her shoulders she wore a brown and gray fur shawl that pooled into her lap. Her fur gloves, matching her shawl clung desperately to the quill it was writing with. A few strands of red bangs hung from the french twist her long hair was pulled into. The tea in a white cup rising slowly with steam, still yet untouched. Guinevere lusted after that tea, but had not yet had a chance to partake. She was quite too busy with this paperwork to drinking of the still hot tea. Yes, waiter. For the thousandth time. No sugar, and I will get to my tea. Feeling again a disturbance based upon the waiter who was bothering her. She could sit on the patio as long as she wished, and she did buy something. Just tea, but the rest of what they served was sweets. Not something that she wanted.

Gabriel sat there, watching over everyone and waiting. He was back to stealing, again, it was what he loved. He had his back to wall just scanning the streets, was there an easy picking anywhere. There was a cafe down the street, maybe it was worth stopping there, could be a better view. Hiding in plain sites what could be better.
Gabriel got up and smoothed his dress, got he wondered what it would be like to be a girl. Sometimes he felt like a boy in a girls body, well most of the time. He started to walk down to cafe looking around for anything out of place that might always be a place to start, or what could others be thinking.
The cafe was a nice place full of life. He quickly scanned over the cafe to see if there could be any space, Gabriel wasn't in the mood for waiting. Wait, no, Gabriel quickly rubbed his eyes again and again. It couldn't be. Not after all this time. Would she notice her. If Gabriel was right with the name he thought he had saw Guinevere sitting on the patio off the cafe. His eyes were playing tricks on him.
Gabriel thought now, should he approach and say hi. Would she even notice him. God, she didn't know about the dresses, well this would be fun. Gabriel pulled his hood over his head and tucked his hair in and walked over to the cafe hoping to get a better look to see if he was right

She looked back at the paper again, attempting to again recall the math lessons she had briefly encountered. Sure she knew Arcane Cruic, but applying math to something she did not so much care for was harder. Whine as she like internally about being gifted with magic, she actually enjoyed it. Even for the little she had managed to preform. Pulling nothing from air is something she had not yet managed to accomplish... The last mage they pulled, well he had ended up killing her parents. She didn't want to try that again. Or at least not until she knew more, and was much stronger. Strong enough to win, no matter who it was. But back to the hard part, and she was staring at the paper again. So, 200 times-
Attempting Accounting I Ugh, fuck this. She leaned back again in her seat, taking the mug of tea. Guinevere took in a deep sip, closing her eyes in the effort. It was good, bitter but tea always was. Well, everything kind of had that taste. It was just natural to her. Guinevere had still not dared to eat anything sweet, it had hardly crossed her mind. She sat like that. Just waiting.

As Gabriel crept closer for a look, his suspicion was true it was her, Guin as he always called her when they were children. He was filled with excitement and sadness at the same time. It was his childhood friend, but it was a life that wasn't his any more. Gabriel felt his heart skip a few beats. She may of been his friend when they were younger but right now he felt something deeper. Eghh feelings he said to himself giggling a little under his hood hoping people won't notice.
Gabriel's confidence was high right now so he felt he could try talking to her. He walked towards the patio, walking briskly and purposely like he was supposed to be going there. Gabriel had realised long before if u walked like u knew what u were doing and you had a right to be somewhere people wouldn't stop and question you as much.
As Gabriel stepped up onto the patio he felt a bit more nervous but he had to go for it. He walked to the table, cleared his thoat and said "May......May I have a....a seat please? It's.....it's guin isn't it?"

Of course he couldn’t expect the busy Lady to stay working in her room all day. Though she had just recovered – a swift and much blessed recovery – from a serious injury, Cassius realized she might wish to work in better atmosphere… Or perhaps she found his presence a bother. I’m obnoxious, annoying, overbearing, a hindrance…Cassius’ mind flooded with all manner of self-ridicule. He was standing at her door, knocking to no prevail. He finally opened the door, slowly and cautiously as any timid man would to a woman’s room, and peeked inside. Dark. Empty. Just like his broken heart. What was with the dramatics? Why had he entered such a state of mind since the Lady had visit? Just what were these feelings---- Paper. Cassius had been near to closing the door and giving up on chatting with Guinevere for the day when he spotted a stray sheet of paper on the ground. He glanced over his shoulder and gulped, summoning the courage to walk into the bedroom. It would just be for a second. He stepped in and carefully picked up the sheet of paper. Cassius couldn’t really make out what it said – he was still fairly new at this reading thing that he had been learning second-hand from Élise – but he could tell it was similar to the work Guinevere had piled on her desk the day before. She must have accidently dropped it. That wouldn’t do. She wouldn’t be able to get anything done – at least, that is what Cassius told himself as he dashed out the room and down the stairs. He was near to leaving the inn when he bumped into Élise and all of her armor. Oh? She was back early. “Cassius.” Élise stated, point blank at her brother. She had a questioning look curving her brows – she was used to Ventus rushing around, but not her elder brother. “S… Sorry!” Cassius sputtered as he straightened his robes and stood straight up. Despite being taller, he felt so inferior to his younger sister; “I was in a hurry to deliver this paper to Lady Guinevere.” He brushed the paper gently, working out any wrinkles that may have occurred in his blunder. “I see,” She really didn’t have much to say, but then a thought came to mind, “Do you know where she has gone?” Élise knew that horrified look on Cassius’ face before he even had a chance to complete it. The twitch of his ears, lips, and nose was enough of a hint before each part fell into play. His ears drooped, his nose sniffled, and his lips frowned, “Its fine,” She assured him with one of those awkward sibling shoulder pats, “I know where she is. There is a small café in the streets east of here. She has gone there to work.” Cassius just nodded with each given insight. He nor she asked if the other would gladly go with them to said café, as both just left together in that direction. Élise would be happy to work on her journal there while Cassius delivered the paper. They made quick time to the café and sure enough, the Lady was there. She sat off to the side of the patio, which the two reached by walking up the main entry steps and rounding the corner of the deck. Élise had no problem walking up to the Lady - brushing past the stranger without paying them much mind because she was a soldier on a mission - with a, “Good day, milady,” but she noticed how her older brother hesitated back by the steps. He didn’t want to bother her if she had company or if she was busy with work.

Guinevere's blue eyes snapped to attention as her name, well nick name, had been called. Her pupils pinned a little at the feminine like figure before her. Something shouted familiar, just a slight tone in the voice. For now though, it was still a mystery to her. But she did have some correcting to do, as her tea was placed back on the table. " Lady Guinevere, if you don't mind." Pushing back a surprised reaction, as honestly correcting the female had come first. Priorities. Nobody she would have known would have called her such a name without being chided, well unless she was much younger. Her younger self had fancied living a much younger life, but that was a still untamed child at that point. Playing in the dirt, and with boys for that matter. The half-elkagr then tilted her head at the man, a little more perplexed now. Was it okay to just let the woman sit? Or should she be more worried about what this might mean, or who this might be. Her heart thumped, as her hand then reflexively went to stroke the fur shawl above her chest. " Who-
ELIse!" In all of this thinking she had not been paying attention the rest of what was going on around her. She sat up suddenly straighter in the chair, but through the arm hole of Elise she saw another taller, and been pole like figure following after. At least the approaching figure had caused her face to relax a little. " Yes, sit. But if you could grace me with a name." Now where is over protective Tom?

Gabriel found it funny that Guin didn't know who he was. He pulled down his hood and grabbed a chair to sit on anyway, opersite the lady . Gabriel sat there thinking what these new comers were here for. He heard from the two sets of feet on the wooden patio. He could only see one and guessed the other was standing back.
Gabriel knew that Guin wouldn't get his name unless he hinted her at it more but this new person obviously had something of utter most importance so he let him have center spotlight for now. He would just wait to make his enterence
As he sat there listening to there conversation Gabriel starts to iron out some of the creases in his dress and decided to tighten the corset. He never liked it when it got loose after a while

Cassius had tried to stop his sister from butting into Guinevere’s business. He had tried everything from calling her name under his breath to reaching out to wave for her attention, but none of that worked. Élise had already greeted the Lady and passed by whomever it was currently socializing with the Lady. Guh!? Élise!! That’s… so… rude… Cassius slapped himself in the face and sighed. He was shaking his head and thinking of a way to walk over to the table when his eyes suddenly made contact with Guinevere’s. He lost himself in her blue eyes. While Cassius was being a dweeb –FAR FROM THE GROUP-, Élise thought Guinevere was talking to her. So, she sat. In fact, Élise sat across the table right next to the stranger. OH There was another person here. “Oh, um, ehem, excuse me… uh… woops… uh…” Wow, she had never really completely looked past anyone’s existence. This was awkward. How to fix this? How to fix this? “I like your dress.” The response was stiff and rather emotionless, but at least she was trying to be nice. So. There it is.

Guinevere stared down the lady dressed like a man, across from her. Her perfectly groomed eyebrow raised at, this she did not appreciate. The Lady had extended herself out in good faith, and she just sat there. Not speaking a word, deciding to ignore her. Were not for Elise, or the public manner of this meeting she wold have had a cross word for this obtuse female.
The female who was now working on her corset, which seemed a little lacking in manners. She was getting further away from deciphering who this person before her was. It was a little violating that this person before her, knew her name. She couldn't place the face, or the person at all.
"So?" A tinge of impatience starting to creep up in her tone.
Her blue eyes turn to Elise, then looked from the corner of her eyes to glance at Cassius. It wasn't a full head turn or anything, that was too obvious. Just a short glance was by far enough, no need to draw attention to Cassius. After all, he wasn't seeming like he wanted to be near her. She understood that. It was not like he meant anything to her, a guy like that would have someone.
Well, once he got out of that inn he would. These were a few good first steps for Cassius.

Gabriel found the action at the table pretty funny, letting out a little giggle. He knew Guin wouldn't remember him but he didn't know how she would react when she found out but it would be funny. He started playing with his hair, he liked it long gave him company of a sort.
The new comers were strange but interesting, but right now Gabriel was focused on how beautiful Guin looked. Like a gaze in her Drew you in. He wondered wheather he should brake the ice here when the newcomer at the table made an remark about his dress. He quickly replied in a friendly voice "AHHH, thanks I love this one it's my favourite, you look very dashing aswell."
Then he turned back to Guin, deciding wheather or not she would remember his name, "Guin do you remember the Gabriel. Boy, who you used to play with when you were younger. Son of a count, who mysteriously disappeared. Well, hi the names Gabriel." Holding out his hand to shake hers

Élise straightened up when she heard Guinevere give that familiar tone of authority. It was a natural reaction for the soldier to pay complete attention to someone higher up – plus she highly respected and still felt very much in debt to the Lady. Élise realized she was not under the command of that simple, “So?” And instead took it as Guinevere returning to her conversation with the stranger. The ritgr let the other speak, listening closely as the woman explained herself as having once been a boy named Gabriel. It was an interesting way to speak of oneself. As far as Élise could tell, the person next to her was very much a lady – robust and rather masculine – but with all of the fashions of a female. From head to toe – granted, she hadn’t really seen many to go around in all black during the light of the day in such a corset. Élise didn’t often enter taverns, but imagined the attire to be fitting of a barmaid. She wondered how much of his/her story was true. Claiming to be the son of a count was rather glamorous, but Élise had no interest in questioning the stranger. She beckoned for Cassius to hurry over and sat quietly. Her brother did as he was told, walking over quietly and sitting down – after several seconds of timid thought – next to Guinevere. He didn’t sit RIGHT next to her, but instead on the same bench a respective distance from the Lady. Cassius had just seated himself as the woman in black finished speaking. He didn’t want to interrupt any conversation they were having with Lady Guinevere and just inclined to holding the paper he had so diligently brought along to his chest and looking at the table top. Élise figured they shouldn’t just sit there. So once Cassius had joined the table, Élise introduced the both of them, “Nice to meet you Gabriel. I am Ritgr Élise and this is my brother Cassius. Sorry to interrupt your business, but my brother had something to deliver to Lady Guinevere.” She stated, hoping they would continue the interesting conversing of intros while Cassius shyly nodded in response to his sister. He passed the paper to Guinevere with a shaky hand, wondering how well he faired with the Lady after all that had happened between them. Hopefully he could stay a while – and wouldn’t be ordered away by Guin - to listen to this newcomer’s story.

Gabriel? Oh, so that was familiar. Though the friendship was rather short lived. Her potential for magic had shown up a short while after meeting the boy. They had seen each other a few times before then, but this was rather odd. Was it some sort of Gabriel imposter? The one she remembers was a male. Though leaning in to look at him closer, Guinevere could see it a little bit. Though he slight disapproving look at not yet left her face. " I hadn't expected you to look so different!" Using as friendly as tone she could manage, she wasn't attempting to be rude. This was just a big surprise. Guinevere did shake his hand, and pull it back to retrieve the paper from Cassius. Who she could still not completely look in the eye. " Thank you Cassius, this is much appreciated." Giving the beanpole a cordial smile. Awkward. Her hand wrapped back around her mug, and the other one joined it. Upon noticing the arrival of more customers the waiter had shown up again, asking for orders. " Please, everyone, order whatever you wish." Though, she was not having anything else. Tea was enough for her, and the only thing she desired from a coffee shop window. He thinks me beautiful? She couldn't help but to give Gabriel an even odder look. Blushing just came as a side effect. At this time Tom was peered around the corner, feeling a bit stupid that three people had managed to encounter his Ladyship in the brief time he had been gone. Two of the party were fine, the third...well another person to eye suspiciously. Though call it sexist, he didn't fear a female as much as a male. Why must my bowels have failed me!

Gabriel was quite sure that Guin didn't believe him, but if someone in a dress and corset with long hair came up to him and said it was an old friend who barely looked the same. Well, he could understand. There must be a way to prove to her. Was there anything that he could do to prove to her. Hmmm, Gabriel sat there thinking to himself. It would of helped him think more if he wasn't trying to explain himself to a beautiful woman. The problem with being a boy, Gabriel will always have the normal urges of a male.
Gabriel then started thinking about the new comers, one who had sat on the bench, he couldn't of been close to Guin as he sat on the other side of the bench near enough. This newcomer also holding a mysterious piece of paper, Hmmmm, Gabriel wondered what was on that piece of paper. Interesting. This new person seemed to have a bit more confidence, talking to Gabriel was a big sign that in this "brother and sister" relationship he was the more confident one. Well the new comers seemed nice enough, but they couldn't be that close to Guin as they call her lady. Too much thought so Gabriel just tossed the information to the side regarding it as thinking to deeply into something.
Guin then thought back to Guin, she was offering food and drink from this place, but Gabriel wasn't in the mood that, "No thanks to ordering I have just eaten, Guin I'm guessing as I wouldn't of that you don't believe that I'm the man I say." Then turning to Elise, "Dont worry, you and your brother just get on with what you are doing, so how do you know Guin, or Lady Guinevere. As you call her?"

Élise seemed somewhat satisfied when Cassius was able to do his deed. She’d noticed the two avoiding each other since the 4th’s little game of H.O.R.S.E. and couldn’t help but feel responsible. She knew her brother enjoyed the Lady’s company – because she wasn’t dense enough to not notice that by now (who would be) - and hoped they would get along. She glanced between the two with somewhat of an exasperated sigh, noticing that something about their reactions to one another was still a bit stiff. Not like she could do much about it at this moment. Guinevere was conversing with the man-lady beside her and she lacked Ventus’ natural knack for scheming. So, she turned to the summoned waiter and ordered a steamed mint herbal brew for both Cassius and herself. The Halfling had been speaking with her superiors all yesterday between training with the sword and pen. It was tiring, but she was getting through to some of them. Élise wanted to repay Guinevere for her efforts and keep the woman safe from attacks as suspicious as before – with the delivered severed heads filled with flowers – so she was trying to get permission to be assigned as a temporary Ritgr to the Lady. She wanted to get all of this O.K.’d by her superiors before she made any such promise to the woman.
Élise seemed busy with the orders, so Cassius did his best to pay attention for her. He caught something in the corner of his eyes that yanked his focus away from the conversation. Guinevere was blushing. It was light, but the pink hue glowing on the fair skin of her cheeks would not go unnoticed by him. Cassius wondered what had brought that on – something twisting in him for the obvious knowledge of the cause not being him. He followed her gaze to the … unique… individual across from them and felt a bit of envy coiling in his stomach. Why?? He’d never dream of having his hair grow in such a fashion, though the blond strands that shaped his narrow face were growing to shoulder length – it was at least a popular elven fashion that his aunt insisted he keep despite the short cut around the rest that was beginning to curl at the ends. Out of habit, Cassius reached behind his head and felt the soft hair there, wondering if really suited him. His aunt had insisted that it was fine, fitting to say the least, but Cassius hadn’t felt comfortable with a fashion meant for purebloods. “Don’t worry, you and your brother just get on with what you are doing, so how do you know Guin, or Lady Guinevere. As you call her?” Listening for Élise – who was still waiting on the order to return because damn this café had some slow waitresses – the elder brother answered too. Though, it took him a moment as he was gaping at the fact that this stranger had just called the Lady by such a familiar name. He felt another tight coil of envy not inside of him, squeezing the air out of his lungs as he remembered the attempt to try such a feet only several days ago – to which he received immediate rejection, “Well..” Cassius started, his voice a bit shaky at first, “Lady Guinevere is currently staying at my aunt’s inn,” He looked to her, wondering if it was alright for him to speak of her affairs. He kept them brief and on the surface, “She has been generously tutoring my sister in the ways of reading and writing.” He couldn’t help but smile a bit when he looked at her. Cassius could never stay too stern towards those he cared for.

" It's Guinevere." She stated, not letting it slip. Even in the middle of conversation, if he hands had not been so wrapped around the mug of tea, there would have been some serious arm folding. To match the serious, and slightly annoyed expression that was creeping across her face. " I believe you." But the reply was just curt. Gabriel had done more that enough to explain who he was. He was starting to border on being too familiar with her. It wasn't just a matter of shortening her name being disrespectful, but she rather liked the full length and sound of Guinevere. She enjoyed the sound of her own name, in more than something to be called. " It's Lady Guinevere." She felt the mighty urge to shake and pound upon the table, but that was terribly unladylike of her. Rather she brought the tea to her mouth, controlling herself through diverting her motions. Yes, tea was nice. Tea calmed her nerves, so she did not feel like flipping tables. Somewhere, somebody felt a little disappointment in this fact. Gabriel was digressing back into a state of further acquaintanceship. Such thoughts left her quickly, as she managed to get a peak of Cassius' azure eyes, and calm smile grace her line of sight. Guinevere smiled behind the mug of tea, forgetting the moments of a few days before. Well, this was quite the way to make Guinevere feel much better.
