Currencies
There are five currencies in circulation in the region. Cruinthian gold is the standard measurement ad it has been in circulation for much longer than the others.
Cruinthian gold is as follows:
Ritz: A standard gold coin. 1.75mm thick, 24.26mm in diameter. Worth 10 duc.
Duc: A large silver coin. 21.21mm diameter, 1.95 mm thick. Worth 10 cor.
Cor: Small silver coin. 17.91mm diameter, 1.35mm thick. Worth 10 zink.
Zink: small copper coin. 19mm diameter, 1.52mm thick. Smallest denomination.
Korasus accepts only one currency from the Cruinthian system, which is the Ritz. Ritz are equal to the gold Mark in Korasus. The next highest denomination, worth 1,000 marks, is the Ada. Which is a similarly sized coin made out of a rare luxury metal.
Kel'Alee's currency is the Lira. It exchanges with Cruinthian coin very well.
In the Empire of the High Born the gold exchanges equally, but the silver does not. The silver Duc are equal to the Imperial Quarter. Each Cruinthian Duc exchanges at 2.5 times it's normal value in the empire. The gold coin is called Dollar.
In Ansai, the gold Cruinthian coin is worth 1000 ryo, which due to over inflation, is nearly worthless. Metals like iron and copper are worth far more than gold on the fleet.
The Skaldi will trade in gold but they much prefer a goods and services barter system.
