Baalrung chose the perfect moment to leap over the palisade. He soared clear of the posts and well over the heads of any defenders left on the walls. The wolf came to a skidding stop as it landed. Redgar and Baalrung gained their bearings and scanned for easy targets. Hopefully there'd be some officers or medics that they could capture. Maybe a nobleman that had been led astray. He was woefully ignorant of what was going on at the front of the fort. But the front of the fort wasn't his concern, he needed to sow chaos at the back of the fort.
"Baalrung! Charge!"
He said, and the wolf obeyed, charging at the tents to bowl through them and sow more chaos. Redgar would reach for a torch as soon as he passed one to toss onto something flammable. You know, good raider tactics. Burn, Pillage, loot. Wait. No. Pillaging and looting are the same thing. Burn then pillage? No, still not right.
"Pillage! Burn!"

Jorkahn watched through blurry eyes as his liege smashed straight through the gates. His hand fell from his mouth as he stared in awe, the coughing continued for a moment. The young Ritgr eventually got a hold of himself and attempted to stand.
Recover: eSrg0qKQ Failed
Unfortunately for him and for his Lord, the half-breed simply doubled over. The coughing returned twice as bad as before. Jorkahn attempted to drag himself a little further from the fight. He would need the time and space to recover otherwise, he was more of a hindrance than an asset.

Kell bounced around on the back of the wolf like nothing more than a sack of grain, the illness was wreaking havoc on his body to the point where he'd relinquished control of the majority of it in order to focus on keeping his legs clamped around the wolf so he didn't fall off and incur more damage. Blood dribbled from Kell's lips and was regularly catapulted out with the near endless fits of coughing that barely gave him a second to draw in enough breath to sustain his currently quite unfortunate life.
Ground sped past his eyes in a blur as the wolf continued onwards seemingly unaware of it's passenger clinging on as he quite literally coughed parts of his lungs out. For what seemed like an eternity it's feet left the ground as it cleared the palisade, the landing almost causing him to relinquish the small amount of grip he'd managed to maintain up until this point

It seemed however that the disease wanted to keep a hold of Kell, it's grip was iron and it continued to ruthlessly choke the life out of the young lord as he flopped around on the back of the wolf that the Duke was riding further into the fray. Despite his best efforts it seemed that he would not be escaping from it's clutches yet, if he could only get together a few moments of clear thought and less pain he could try some healing magic but in his current state he was incapable of doing anything but dying rather loudly.

Hacklung threshold 20. WXQHsZZm 98, success.
Tyr glanced over his opponent and wondered. From a shaper's perspective the man's equipment left much to be desired. It was fairly standard make, he guessed it to be highly iron, possible steel in some areas. Raw plate armor and likely unpadded outside of standard fare, if Tyr could throw the man into something that could likely end the fight in one go. The sword was plenty sharp, and a cruel looking piece of steel, but light. Nothing near what it would take to punch through any of his armor, but that was never a reason to discount an opponent. This man was a magehunter, and from what Tyr knew that meant magic would be involved. Magic was the one thing he had no real counter for. Plus there would be combat training he couldn't match. Oh this would be a fun fight indeed.
His best bet would be outnumbering the SKC lieutenant, and that would only happen if Redgar could sew enough chaos to meet up with them. That and if Jorkahn recovered enough to provide pressure. One on one Tyr was a tank, but he didn't have the combat ability to really take down a skillful opponent. That left one option for now. Distraction.
*Flee Clasher, turn tail and hide in your cave. I am your undoing. I. Am your. FUR BLANKET!* He didn't know a word at the end to be satisfyingly fierce, and it just happened to be mostly grows with some slight hand motions to compensate for no tail. Only one person was likely to understand it anyway. At the same time the Duke pulled free his mace and shield, readying himself for a fight. His focus was solely on Clasher, ready to block whatever came and swing back with equal force.

ResultsTyr is kicked and pushed backward 5 meters. Tyr's Right Shoulder is Broken. Redgar & Kell Lo'TharanFrom the other side of the palisade sprang chaos. The great dire wolf Baalrung leaped through the air and cleared the palisade with ease. Then, at the behest of its master charged through several tents, trampling some of the Sovereign Kingdom of Cruinthe's troops and sowing discord among them. They were somehow being attacked from behind their own lines! This left them surprised and unable to counter attack. They knew what to do in the event the palisade was breached or approached, but when the enemy was attacking from within? And so suddenly? Nay! Redgar seized a torch and threw it upon several rolls of hay. Those rolls immediately caught fire, and the fire began to spread through the camp. In moments, people were scrambling around trying to put it out with what little water they had available. The dry season was difficult for everyone. Kell was only able to stay upon the mount for the time being. That also meant that he went more or less unnoticed compared to Redgar's antics. Tyr & Jorkahn -vs- ClasherThere was a pause on the battlefield. The two men had gathered all the attention that was available. Jorkahn at least was no longer being pelted with useless arrows. Clasher did not understand what the man was doing. He thought he was nuts, gesturing and growling like he was. That suited him fine. Someone that can't be reasoned with is someone he had no problem killing. The warrior attempted to disarm the other fighter after it equipped itself. However his move didn't garner any attention, perhaps the other growling fighter was not a trained ritgr? Clasher, unlike many, was always thinking. He was always a step ahead. His next move was to unleash a crushing kick upon his foe, he connected with the man's right shoulder, he heard the satisfying snaps of the clavicle, scapula, and ball and socket of the humerus crack in succession, a terrible injury. He had planned on following up with a breaking stab with his sword Stabber, he was not great at naming things, but his opponent had been launched several meters by the kick so he did not need to commit the energy. "Your turn now, beast."He would not let himself be dishonored. Though he was not sure what he was fighting for anymore. Many of his comrades were dead, and the king had shuttered himself away. JtlgN7FB Recovered!
Jorkahn stopped coughing almost as suddenly as he had started. Without waiting to see if the fit was finished he scrambled to his feet and ran towards the smashed gate. He stopped off to the side and peeked his head out. The Champion stepped back so Tyr would be between him and Clasher. He still had a line of sight of the Mage Hunter, but he knew just from looking at the man Tyr would have a much better chance than him in a straight up fight. Jorkahn held his hand out and began twirling it in a circle. The motion started small and would become more pronounced over time. A small tornado of fire began to form two meters behind Clasher. He attempted to catch as many of Clasher's reinforcements in it as possible.

Redgar began to cough, and the coughing did not stop. This was not good for this battle. Who would lead them if he fell here from a disease? A disease he had no control over. This infuriated him. He would redouble his efforts as soon as he became physically able.
Baalrung however was not affected by such a thing. The dire wolf would chase after the first enemy that came close to him, now that he was no longer being directed by his master. Moving and attacking at the same time. Snapping with its huge jaws.

It seemed that the malady had him firmly in it's grips, there was no way that he was going to be escaping the clutch of the Hacklung as it wracked his body and tore apart his lungs from the inside. No inch of his vital organs was safe from it's ravaging and so he remained holding onto the back of the wolf as it ran through the camp with it's master with a trail of mayhem following in it's wake. There was no way that he could drag himself out from it's grip and do anything other than tightly cling onto the wolf and cough blood all down it's flank and off of the side of it while struggling to escape.

Things were not going well for the Duke. First his encounter with the magehunter went completely sideways, and a little backwards, and now he was bent over hacking up blood through his visor. The sickness would be the death of him, if Clasher didn't take advantage of the opportunity to kill him now. The fit would pass of course, provided Tyr stayed alive long enough to make it there.

As Jorkahn channeled his magic a bolt of lightning cracked through the air and hit him square in the chest. The Ritgr screamed out in pain, stumbling backward a few steps. The half-breed gritted his teeth and continued channeling his magic. At least, he would have. Except, he felt a sharp pain in his chest and a warm rush of liquid running down his body. The man blinked suddenly realizing how close Clasher had become and how difficult it was getting to breathe. It finally dawned on him what had happened. The young warrior looked down to see a sword through his chest. No one had ever gone through his armor so easily. Surprisingly, he wasn't scared, just confused. He turned his look of confusion onto Tyr as if the large man would have an answer.
After that, the world went dark and quiet. He felt so cold. And then he felt nothing.
Jorkahn has been incapacitated.

Still the Duke Redgar at this point in his life was attempting to recover from his bout of hacklung. The disease was ravaging his lungs at this moment, making holding onto Baalrung all he could possibly do at the moment. He felt the arrow bounce off of his armor, and was thankful that it was so well crafted.
The dire wolf on the other hand was treating the archer in his mouth like a toy, it crunched on him, munched on him, and shook him around. There were other targets to move on to, but this one was already fun with its struggling.

Hacklung threshold 10. dR_E8Yow 24, success.
Tyr's bleeding lungs had stopped him from being able to intercept Clasher, and it was all he could do to watch Jorkahn be zapped and impaled. His brain flooded with rage as he launched himself at the mage hunter, aiming to smash him to bits as quickly as he could. His shield arm had been heavily messed up, so it was all down to the mace anyway, and nothing to it but to keep swinging. The first blow was right to the point, aimed to go top down and pushed Clasher's head into his chest cavity. The second was a sweep across the torso, trying to break both arms and remove the lungs. His final blow was the clincher, a powerful blow to the dirt aimed to send his opponent flying from nearly point blank range. The effect at such a distance would likely have a similar impact to what Tyr did to the gate.

The young half-Drokagr could feel more of his vitality draining away as a wracking coughed up mix of blood, spittle and phlegm sprayed out from his mouth, a good portion of which trailed down Baalrung's flanks as he was bouncing and moving quite violently in his exercise of removing as many SKC as he possibly could. Unfortunately still it seemed that Kell would not be freed from the disease's grips and as such was unable to do anything to help his companions in their given mission.
While some part of him enjoyed the fact that he didn't have to take anymore lives this day due to his own slipping away the other felt worthless at his inability to assist those he had come with and assist to rescue those prisoners of his own kind that they sought.
