Though Thrawn had no political ties to Cruinthe, he never felt loyal to the throne the recent actions of the mad king Julgrava made the Darthaki's blood boil. However when Fyrra said she was going a mission to assist the Republic in getting some weapons Thrawn happily joined her. Mostly because he felt like he owed her and Merrake for helping him when he fell into the catacombs, also there was the Ritz involved, he could use that for a project he had in mind.
After the long trip Thrawn would let Fyrra do all the talking at the camp. He would follow her at the camp considering that the guards there would not let him wander alone. The last thing he wanted was to get his friends into trouble and have that trip be for nothing.

Almost overnight Sorath had become too dangerous to remain in. Merrake and Fyrra argued about where to go. Going back to Korasus was impossible. They doubted the Karligar territory was open for travel, and going north was out of the question. They couldn't find Countess Allenmorde, and Ne'Ranmba Rul had been attacked. They had heard from another member of the initiative that innorsford was safe. It was the complete opposite direction of home, bet Fyrra was resigned to not going back for a long time.
In Innorsford they found that their help was needed. Fyrra had kept the details of the mission she signed up for hidden from Merrake.
"This is not charity, this is participating in the war."
"They need our help. If we don't, who will? They'll die without the weapons they need to defend themselves. And they're the only army between us and the SKC. Who might I remind you want us dead for being us."
"I don't like it."
"I don't either but we have to show them that we are as committed to the cause as they are."
"C. Fine. Let's find the initiative representative. Thrawn, stick with us, please."
Merrake didn't want their friend to be mistaken for a spy. He was human. Obviously. And they were not. Also obviously.

Kell's journey ended at the boundaries of the camp, at which point he finally felt safe enough to draw his hood back, here at least he was fairly sure that him being a Drokagr wouldn't count against him. He waited a moment, waiting for the cries he'd been dreading at finding a member of a now illegal species outside the camp, but there were none. He was in the right place then at least he knew, and with that cheerful thought in place he strolled in.
After a few well placed questions he was directed to the sign up, it didn't take long and he was soon out again. Now that he was actually here the reality hit him, he was going to go into a fight, one that it was highly possible he wouldn't come out the other side of, he was untested in combat and yet was here for this, armed only with a sword, a bow and a couple of knives he'd bought from traders. His resolve wavered, yet in the end the thought of the good he could do outweighed his fear. The people that he was takign action against were those that had outlawed his very race and removed his right to live free, the same people that had caused strife and difficulty in Cruinthe and had caused so many people to be in poverty that even the initiative was likely struggling. If he could do anything, even be a bee sting in the side of this colossus he'd help, and the words he'd received back from Valara strengthened that even more.
Once the signing up was done with he wasn't sure what to do with himself, apparently finding the representative from the initiative was first to do, so he set off to find her, checking that his various weapons and supplies were secured in place.

"Ah! Good day, good day, good day!"
The initiative representative had a thick Korasuan accent. She was obviously straight from the city and had been sticking around with these Guardian Corps. troops for the purposes of being a liaison. Both groups approached her at the same time. Fyrra, Merrake, Thrawn, and Kell. The Representative sat behind a table looking at a map with a tall, grizzled man clad in armor. She would take introductions and then speak.
"I am Melare An'Kitan, representative from the Initiative. This is Sergeant Mikkalson, of the Republic of Cruinthe. Thank you for coming. I assume you're here to assist us in retrieving the supplies? Very well, I will vouch for the Kalimbra and her party, Sergeant. Please proceed."
"Of course. Now somewhere up that mountain over there are the supplies that we bought. We're going to go get them. By we I mean you, and two of my best men. Get up that rock, find the supplies, and bring them back here. If you run into any imperials or SKC dogs, gut them. They won't be kind to you. If you can figure out what happened to the smugglers, that'd be appreciated too. We don't need more stuff going missing. CHAD! TIM! GET YOUR RUSTY ASSES OVER HERE!"
"Sir, yes sir!"
Two Guardian Corps. Glaive Troopers came over from mingling around a fire in the camp and stood near the sergeant. They saluted, and stood at attention.
"You're going to protect these four folks with your lives. You get that?"
"Sir, yes sir!"
"Good! Get moving, we don't have all day."
Mission Intelligence:

The mission was pretty straightforward, find the stuff kill anything in the way, and if they could find the smugglers. Though somehow Thrawn doubted things would be as simple as the officers said it would be. Thrawn would make his way up to the trail alongside Fyrra and Merrake, documenting their journey in his notepad. Thrawn felt confident n their group, Fyrra and Merrake worked well with Thrawn, it felt good to be fighting alongsidet hem outside of that dark cramped tomb. "A steady pace should get us there without exhausting us," he said addressing the entire crowd. "Though maybe we should send a few people to scout ahead once we get closer to our objective, to avoid any surprises."

Fyrra was not quite sure what she needed to be doing other than following along. They didn't have mounts, and they didn't have any means of carrying a large amount of goods themselves. She was more or less confused as to how they were going to accomplish these tasks. However, she was glad to see the Guardian corps members coming along. She wasn't sure what kind of protection the male drokagr could provide, and though Merrake and Thrawn were strong fighters on their own, she doubted they could hold off hardened soldiers.
She was there to fulfill a healing and support combat role. That is what she had decided. Violence was not her forte. Nevertheless, she followed along.
Merrake had taken notice of the male drokagr as well, and deemed it necessary to keep an eye on him. There was little love for males among their kind. Their society was a matriarchal one. Men were untrustworthy.
-"And who are you, male?"-
Merrake asked the newcomer in her native tongue.

It seems he wasn't the only one who'd come along, he'd expected there to be others but if he was honest he'd been hoping for people who looked a little more imposing. Between the three people who'd come along also to give aid they didn't make a particularly impressive group. What had surprised him though was the appearance of two other Drokagr this far from the colony. One seemed a warrior of some sort, and had been eyeing him suspiciously since the moment he'd come into view. The other however seemed a much gentler sort, her hair and skin coloured beyond the norm. They were an odd group, and they didn't seem particularly threatening, then again he doubted that he looked like much equipped as he was with only leather armour and a few blades.
So it was that were any looking they'd see relief on Kell's face at the arrival of the Glaive troopers, they at least looked as if they could fight well, he knew nothing of his allies skills but these were soldiers and so would be able to hold their own he supposed. He could quite happily let these men take the front line and simply use his bow from behind, that was the best way for him to not let his inexperience with combat kill him whilst still contributing to the cause.
While thins were being explained Kell would listen along attentively, he'd walk when the others began to and simply follow along, unsure what else there really was to do at this point. The human made some good points and Kell nodded his head as they were spoken, sending some scouts ahead would probably be a good idea so they could know what they were walking into before they got to it. Who would fulfil that role though? He wouldn't fit it particularly well, stealth had never been a strong point for him nor had hunting as shown by his tragic attempt at it to get Kevin meat, and the things he'd be hunting this time would also be far more alert and able to fight back.
It seemed however that he'd attracted more than suspicious glances from the more deadly looking of the two females, as she now chose to address him. His reply would have to be carefully crafted, this woman was already suspicious of him and he would be expected to be subservient to her as Drokagr society dictated. Yet he had no desire to bow down to this woman entirely simply because tradition dictated, it could be his father's upbringing speaking but he was his own person and considered himself near enough on equal footing as they were out of the colony. -"Kell Lo'Tharan."- He had almost added count to this before realising it probably wasn't his best idea. Even if he was out of SKC territory and was amongst those who were as burdened by the new laws as he was, he didn't know these people and would prefer to keep as much about himself private as he could. -"May I ask who I am addressing?"- Kell asked, things would go a lot smoother if they could at the least all get along. He wished he'd brought Kevin, at least then he'd have someone he knew, but Kevin was needed to stay behind at the county so at least one of them was there still.

"Alright lads and lasses, let's get moving!"
Tim said. He seemed to be a cheery sort of guy. Chad was the not so cheery sort of guy. By that I mean he's a complete grouch but he believed in the cause. His grouchiness was supposedly an act according to Tim, in order to offset Tim's cheerfulness. They were perfect foils, and they worked well together. Again, according to Tim.
Chad didn't have much to say to anyone.
Once the group began moving up the mountain trail, Tim would take the lead, and Chad would take the back, to make sure no one went missing.

-"Merrake Av'Manait, this is Kalimbra Fyrra Na'Limndra. I am her body guard. I assume you know what that means?"-
Fyrra ignored Merrake's brashness as the group started moving towards their destination. One soldier lead from the front, the other was in the back of the group. Fyrra had placed herself somewhere in the middle. Hoping to keep close to Thrawn and Merrake. She wasn't going to get involved in a discussion over the rules regarding her own person. Merrake would do a fine job of it, though insulting the male Drow might be a side result of that.
"So, Thrawn, are you familiar with these parts of the Darthaks?"
It was a question that had popped into Fyrra's head suddenly. She remembered that he was Darthaki. The more she knew about where she was going the more comfortable she'd be.
Merrake would follow behind Fyrra, listening for the male's response to her statement and question. She didn't know what to expect from him, she had not spoken with many males. Most had deferred to the females in the room. They were strange people, they preferred to converse amongst themselves and relay their thoughts to their female family members. That was her experience. This male was apparently independent. Which struck Merrake as strange.

Something strange happened to Thrawn as they got going. Being up in the mountains, surrounded by nature, a nature that was familiar to him, Thrawn started feeling homesick. His thoughts often went back to his people during these troubled times. Their safety, their future, and most of all how he would return.
Thrawn was on his quest to bring something back for his tribe, if he came back empty handed he would be shammed and shunned. However it did not feel right to leave them while they could be fighting for either their lives or independence and for most Darthaki their independence was their lives.
He was lost in his thoughts that he barely registered Fyrra's question, he had to shake himself out of it before he could answer.
"No, my people live in the plains, which are away from here. We didn't really branch out outside that area, the land is too harsh to live on."

The soldiers had positionned themselves around the party, one leading and following behind them all. Probably the best way to do it, none of them knew what they'd encounter, what direction it would come from and how it would come, the two soldiers were their best bet as it was likely they'd be able to deal with any threats much easier than the party they were guiding. It did make Kell wonder however why they'd been sent up this pass if they had soldiers, it was a bit odd they were sending four people who's capabilities they didn't know over a like amount of soldiers. The soldiers would likely deal with combat situations better than them, just from looking at the difference in their levels of equipment and readiness that much seemed true, it was an interesting thought for the walk.
However that would have to wait for when he had a moment, for now it seemed that he was being questioned by the tougher looking of the two Drokagr that were also coming. She seemed suspicious of him, he knew he deviated from the norms of Drokagr society and that was probably due to his father more, but asking him something that was the most common of knowledge amonst their kind seemed like either a stupid question or an insult. Either way, -"It means don't touch or I'm likely to get a blade for it. Show respect and generally don't get in her way."- The response was accompanied by a raised eyebrow, he was still deciding whether it was an intentionally insulting question or merely badly thought out. It seemed like it might not be quite as easy for him to get along with these people as he'd initially thought.

"Hm, so much for that idea then. Thank you though, Thrawn."
-"Good, we're at an understanding then."-
Fyrra followed along now, mulling over what had been said before and what was lying before them. The mountains could prove difficult to traverse, and she had no real desire to talk to the male drokagr. He was a curiosity but that was all. She would not be rude to him however, though Merrake had probably dashed any of his hopes to speak with the Kalimbra. She had to hand it to the bodyguard, she had her way with people. It was a way, not a good way or a bad way, but an abrasive way that got the point across cleanly.
"Sir Chad, how far is it to the destination?"
The weather was dry and hot. She didn't wear clothing conducive to that sort of weather. She was wearing what little armor she had, which was a set of hard leather armor and a green silken sarong. She wore no breeches or boots however, and that would alleviate some of the heat at the cost of armor.

Thrawn nodded in response to Fyrra, he hoped that the weather would get colder as they went higher up the mountain. The heat did not agree with him and the layers of heavy armour he was wearing. Despite the language barrier Thrawn could sense some tension between Merrake and the other Half-Drokgar. He glanced at the the two and back towards Fyrra, this was the first time he had seen a male Drokagr so he was not sure what exactly what was going on. "Anything I should worry about?" Thrawn asked Fyrra in a hushed tone nodding slightly at the male. Although no one has said anything about the male being part of the team Thrawn was curious about the way he was being spoken to, and if he was to be trusted or not.

Well if nothing else at least they knew where they stood in relation to each other, he was put into the role that his gender had occupied since creation and expected to sit there. If push came to shove he wasn't going to take any rubbish from these women but for now the Merrake hadn't tried to do anything more than establish that Kell knew the way things worked which was fair considering her position as bodyguard to the Kalimbra. He'd not thought to see a Kalimbra this far out, thinking about it feelings aside it wasn't all that abnormal for Merrake to act as she was, if anything he was the oddity here.
Things currently weren't all that bad so he'd let it slide, he had no intentions of following along should they attempt to treat him as males were usually treated, they were in human lands now, but he also had no intention of causing any arguments or trouble with them. The humans he hoped at least would treat him as they would any other, in human terms he wasn't seen as lesser than the females, or so he assumed at least as nothing he'd seen so far had lead him to believe that wasn't the case. Either way, once the mission was done it wouldn't matter much anyway, he just had to get on with things for now and get this done.
