She thought she'd have had plenty of time on the way down to figure out what to do with herself. How to mitigate the problem that she had faced. How to deal with falling from such a great height. It had been seven days since she had first disappeared from the world. And now she was back. It did not feel like it had been long at all. Mere... hours? Moments? Minutes?
There was no firm grasp of how long she had been in its presence. Or how long she had been dead before. But she was back, and falling, falling for a very long time. Eventually the very air and fabric of her being caught fire as she entered the world below as she passed through the portal.
That thing had been so rude. It answered none of her questions. It just fought her, then slapped this mask on her face, and threw her back down to the world. She was burning. With questions, and was actually on fire at the same time. After a time she felt like she was floating towards the world below. Night had covered the land. When she noticed she was heading towards a city she braced herself. Not that the landing would be any harsher one way or another.
Her scarlet cloak flapped in the wind. She breathed harshly, not that she needed to breath. Or did she? She wasn't even sure. Her voice was ragged, and metallic sounding. Allyria guessed that was from the mask. When it became obvious she was going to hit whatever building she was heading for, she curled up into a ball and slammed into the roof a moment later. Then she hit another roof, this time not in a ball. She slid down the shingles and fell into the street.
"I'm alive... this is Sorath... I wonder what day it is. Or night. Ne'Ranmba Rul. I should head there."
Allyria started to move, found that her body hadn't given up on her. Wait.. was this really her body? She felt stronger. More powerful. Lighter on her feet. Things had definitely changed.
She stumbled towards the ring market, and finally made it into the street. It was empty for now. She started to head towards Ne'Ranmba Rul.
