It hadn't taken him to long to return from Kable's, he'd made good time considering the distance and the new weight that he carried, although the weight to him was more a comfort than a hindrance. It was also quite heartening for him as it proved his pack was working properly which sent a small feeling of pride through him, he was more comfortable with hard iron than he was with leather but it seemed he had a small amount of talent for the more fiddly arts of leatherworking that was at odds with his rather large muscled body. Still though he wasn't complaining, the pack would allow him to carry more than simply what he could fit in his arms and on his belt, something which was much required if he didn't want to be having to resupply every few hours, the possibility of getting shipments of iron and leathers appealed to him but he'd need to have a solid address for that first and he didn't feel comfortable with having a building within the city as his residence.
While his initial fears of being found instantly and carted away or killed were still there, they'd moved somewhat to the back of his mind now due to the fact that he hadn't been caught or killed at first sight, he knew it was highly unlikely that anyone here would recognise him, he hadn't been particularly well known and anyone that would have known him would assume him dead. He knew he wasn't exactly an inconspicuous figure but there wasn't much he could do about that and so currently trying to blend in and be normal while keeping an eye out was the best defence he had and he intended for now to do that while possibly earning some coin along the way for his blacksmithing.
Ambling around the market a bit he found that there wasn't much there to interest him, especially not with the meagre amount of gold he had, and much of what was sold was weaponry and armour of questionable quality. Something that he'd found had surprised him in Sorath was the lack of good quality wares, he'd heard of several independant traders but the market on a whole didn't have much that was worth looking at once, let alone twice. Another even worse aspect he'd noticed was the poor, it seemed there were more than a few people within the city who were homeless as he was, except they it appeared didn't even have the money for food. Any happiness he felt within the city fell as soon as he saw them and it hurt him that he couldn't do anything for them, yet he had little enough for himself. He had survived without coin for so long on his skills that he'd forgotten how in cities all revolved around it. He was stuck pondering how he could gain himself some more coin without drawing attention to himself, if he could get enough he would manage, with the right amount of money spent you could buy yourself anonymity in some duchy or town where he would be able to feel more at ease, thoughts and ideas circulating in his head and taking over his mind so that his body was just mechanically walking without a mind to guide it.
