Appearance: Devin’s appearance leans very heavily towards that of a human, the fact that his slightly pointed Elkagr ears are usually hidden underneath shoulder length hair ,usually worn down, helps him a lot in further assisting the illusion of him being a pure-blooded human although he does carry a trace of the almost feminine characteristics of the Elkagr if one were to look closely. While not being thin to the point of worry he could not be considered large or particularly muscled, being more built for stealth and quick movements than brute strength
Personality: Devin is a person very much out for himself, with the number one motto of always look out for number one. His friendship is easily gained but similarly can be easily discarded almost on a whim, although his outside manner towards most is usually quite pleasant and his habit of cracking jokes will put most at ease even if some of the jokes could be considered incredibly offensive. His moods change can change like lightning and have the potential to be as dangerous, although if he is in character it would take nothing short of an apocalypse in order for him to break it.
History: Devin wasn’t born to the best of families, in terms of money he had almost as much as was wanted although he wasn’t one that was after a large sum, but his parents were almost always absent from his early life, his mother being a cruinthian by birth and his father an Elkagr who’d seen the dark side of commerce and never looked back. You could say thieving, stealing, spying and assassination were almost a way of life of his from an early age, his parents having built a small empire around those things and having evaded the law for long enough that they were considered almost masters of the art. Devin grew up learning these skills, and when magic manifested itself within him he took to learning that to and applying it also to the family difference, he took on many roles and disguises for work as well as finding new and exciting ways to kill with very little regard for his own life.
However it was likely his parents had taught him their business far to well, as he soon got bored of them when there was not much more they could teach him, so one morning they were found dead in their beds and that was the end of everything they’d spent their lives building. It was a shame and Devin, at least on the surface, mourned as much as the rest if not more and shed more than a few faked tears before dispersing as all others did. Looking for something more to interest him and maybe a bigger canvas than a few provinces to carry out his work in, Cruinthe as a whole seemed to fit that and as such he moved onto a much bigger and more complicated ground to play with.
