The stables! Ah now this was a thing Redgar could be impressed with. Especially the dire wolves. Those beasts spoke to him. They spoke to him so much that he sold his horses and bought two Grey Dire Wolves.

When she visited the stables to examine the many mounts that were available, Rithaleya was surprised to find how diverse the selection was. In the Bone Wastes, horses were exotic enough, and not many Cahallians she'd seen owned them, either. She knew next to nothing about any of what was on display, and felt she had to be cautious about letting those who would sell them know. So, she showed her interest and asked questions, but reserved her shopping for a later visit. (It helped that she hadn't been to the moneychangers yet, anyway; there wasn't much risk of buying on impulse.)
On a later visit, after she'd eaten and freed up some funds, she'd come to some sort of decision. She wasn't any good in a fight, and buying a mount that made up for it seemed it would do more harm than good... as interesting as it would be to ride her own dragon into battle. Instead, she made it clear she desired a horse that was calm and sensitive, trained to respond to leg pressure, with a smooth gait and quick on its hooves. A horse for archery, not one for melee! She didn't know much about the practice of horse archery, but she figured she could learn. The magic bows she'd found at the farm both had the right shape for it.
Even after the moneychangers' fee, Rithaleya could afford any mount Karballa's Stables had on offer, and this was the main thing that had inspired her to Kel'Alee in the first place. Still, when spending all her money in one place, it made sense to do her best to be sure she got the deal that was best for her. She tried to come up with complaints and questions to haggle for a better deal, though short of buying a lesser horse, it didn't seem likely she'd get one.

(Buying the best horse available... is probably going to cost ~1355 Ritz. Though Rithaleya can afford to pay for quality.)
ADMIN EDIT:
Due to fine haggling: The price was reduced to 1200 Ritz post currency exchange.
