Mission Description: -This mission will auto-resolve without player participation-
Royal Justean Guard Faction--: You are to assist the Royal Justean Guard in commandeering the Imperial Frigate Dauntless docked in Delta City's port. Once control over the ship has been established, bombard enemy Sovereign Kingdom of Cruinthe and Imperial positions within the city with the Frigate's guns, then take the ship out of the harbor to the military port downstream for the follow-up mission.
Sovereign Kingdom of Cruinthe--: Attempt to prevent the Royal Justean Guard from acquiring the Dauntless by any means necessary. Use the harbor fort's guns to sink the ship if necessary.
Empire of the High Born--: While the SKC are attempting to prevent the RJG from stealing the ship, Imperial troops are assigned to destroying all RJG elements in the city, and locking it down. Do not let the rebels escape.
Starting Locations -RJG: On the main avenue to the harbor. -SKC: Harbor fort, adjacent to the harbor. -EotHB: Outside the city, proceeding along the highway as reinforcements.
Victory Conditions
RJG -Secure the Dauntless -Bombard the Harbor Fort, Imperial Guard Post, Royal Guard Post, City Gates, and Cannon Tower -Escape the port
SKC -Kill all RJG Troops or -Sink the Dauntless if necessary.
EotHB -Kill all RJG Troops
Losing Conditions
RJG -All troops are killed/incapacitated -The Dauntless is sunk.
SKC -The Royal Justean Guard Succeed in their objectives.
EotHB -The Royal Justean Guard Succeed in their objectives.

Main Avenue About Cannons and Forts.Cannons are technically magitech cannons that fire a super heated fireball that explodes on contact and transfers a lot of kinetic energy. Though not necessarily very effective against single soldiers, or troops that are well armored, they do dish out quite a lot of psychological damage and have a chance of setting things on fire. Cannons-Cannons can fire once per turn, and have a 45% chance to hit their target. -A cannon must be manned to fire (either by a player or npc) -The number of shots is the total ammunition stored there. Once the ammunition is gone it is gone. Ballistas-Same rules as cannons. Forts-If a fort is destroyed all the troops inside it at the time are killed. PC's have a 20% chance to escape it. -Armor: this reduces damage when the fort is hit by a cannon. -Forts are invulnerable to anything but cannon fire. About Troops-Player characters can command the troops around, except for Commander Pailikos and her squad. They will operate under their own directives. Troops are the same as they are in the creature database.

Royal Justean Guards "Alright. It's time. Squad two you're on point. Squads one and four will be the middle. Three and five will be the rear. Let's get that ship! For the Crown!"Commander Pailikos drew her sword and led the troops out onto the middle of the street. They had five blocks to advance before they arrived at the harbor. Already their enemies were moving to intercept them. If they were locked into a prolonged battle, it would be over for them. The enemy outnumbered them too much. They were located at the crux of the street, where it began to angle towards the harbor. That was where they had made their small base in a series of houses. Those people that had owned those houses were pledged to the Royalist cause. It wasn't long that they had to shelter the soldiers. At the RJG's back, two hundred imperial soldiers poured into the street. The two knights from Squad three and five both pointed out two imperial soldiers to fight. The challenge was of course accepted. Pureblooded Elkagr would never bow down to rebellious humans. The first Hell Knight began his duel, two swings of his broadblade hit, the third missed. The first struck the Elkagr in the head, the second hit him in the groin. The Elkagr recovered from his wounds enough to attack in kind. Bleeding heavily he managed to land a hit on his opponent's upper arm. It was of no use though, the Imperial Soldier fell under the next flurry of the Hell Knight's attacks in a spray of blood. The Elkagr was dead. It scared the hell out of his compatriots. Before the Hell Knight from Squad Five could attack his opponent the Imperial force retreated eleven yards as a group. Two hundred of them were too afraid to pursue their enemies immediately after that. Their leaders had trouble rousing a good response. Squads Three and Five prepared to attack from range.
RJG -No Losses. EoTB -Squad 1 suffers 1 casualty. --KIA: 1 --Squad 1: 199/200 SKC -No Action
Empire of the High Born After the loss of one of their men, the troops were too busy trying to get away from the enemy Hell Knights to do anything productive. Their leaders tried to return discipline in their forces. It would take several moments until they were ready to do anything.
The Sovereign Kingdom of Cruinthe The SKC Footmen based at the royal guard post left the building to reinforce the imperial troops. They took the frontline position, but could do nothing from so far away from their enemies. Still, they had their discipline and moved forward to try to attack the enemy from the rear. The troops in the harbor fort dispatched a hundred men themselves to try to block off the street. The Royal Justean Guard, now, were caught in a pincer move between the two groups of footmen.

Royal Justean Guard Squad two quickly became surrounded by the hundred SKC troops that had left the harbor fort. The fighting started immediately, and it was fierce. The SKC footmen and the RJG Marauders had at each other without reservations. To one side, the small force they were fighting were well equipped rebels that needed to be put down like the dogs they were. To the RJG, the enemies before them were the massed and blind sheep that followed a tyrant for no reason. They could not be saved, the best thing to do with them was to put them out of the misery they had no idea they were living. The Hell Knight more than obliged that. With ten kills in nearly as many seconds, it was starting to become a one sided bloodbath. Several marauders went down under sword and lance when the footmen managed to start to pile on to their enemies. On the other side of the center of the RJG assault force, squads three and five fired a volley into the SKC footmen forty arrows and twelve flechettes found their way into the enemy crowd. Fifty two footmen fell under the assault.
The Empire of the High Born These forces were just beginning to rally, especially since the Sovereign Kingdom of Cruinthe's men were between them and the enemy force. Their commander put their morale back in order, and restored discipline. They formed ranks and started to march towards their foes as their allies fell under arrow and dart.
Sovereign Kingdom of Cruinthe So much bloodshed. Dozens of men were down in the street, either bleeding to death or already dead. Losses were piling up, but they had almost torn squad two of the Royal Justean Guard to shreds under their superior numbers.

Royal Justean Guard Squad two of the RJG had incurred heavy losses. More than fifty percent of their men had fallen to the SKC's footmen, but they had taken out quite a few of their foes as well. They had already lost twenty nine men, while merely twelve of the Royal Justean Guard's mauraders were taken out. If it was a battle of equal forces the marauders would have the winning ratio. But they were severely outnumbered. They continued to clash with their SKC foes, and managed to kill six in the moments following the first attack. They lost all of their remaining marauders in the combat. Surrounded, and alone, the Hell Knight challenged an opponent in one on one combat. The fool accepted and stepped up. It might as well have been an adult fighting a small child. The Hell Knight crushed him. The SKC footmen backed off, retreating a full eighty two yards before rallying themselves. The two squads at the back of the Royal Justean Guard's formation fired another volley into the SKC footmen, who were demoralized and barely putting themselves back together from the first one. Their volley killed an additional forty one SKC footmen, and wounded seven others. The squads that were in the middle, one and four, moved up to take up positions near the lone Hell Knight.
Empire of the High Born The empire's soldiers continued to use the footmen of the SKC as shields, allowing the RJG to use up their ammunition on the hapless dogs of the Sorcerer King. When they were spent, their commander would allow them to rush the rebels.
Sovereign Kingdom of Cruinthe The sovereign Kingdom of Cruinthe's footmen had managed to nearly completely wipe out Squad Two of the Royal Justean Guard. Up until the Hell Knight challenged someone to a duel. His might seemed unsurmountable to the footmen. They retreated a full eighty two yards away from him before starting to collect themselves. If they had only swamped him like they had the others! They had the numbers! But with no leader to rally around it was difficult for them to make headway in reorganizing themselves. The rear group was butchered by their enemies attacks. The second volley was nearly as deadly as the first. Their enemies had nearly wiped them out. Their morale broke. Those seven that remained, wounded, broke and fled the battlefield.
