Wandering through the land, Sho was leaving her old home as far behind as possible. It had been so long since she was outside, it felt nice to taste the fresh air. At first all she had done the other day was run, climb, and flee nearly the whole day; only stopping to hunt when she felt the subtle voice in her head suggesting her she should eat. She always had listened to the suggestions because the voice sounded so kind to her and had a habit of making good things happen when she followed it's directions, "That isss why Sssho like you!" She said out loud, "You alwaysss there!"
Still, there was a void in her that the voice alone couldn't fill. Shokino sought out actually companionship, someone who she could see standing right in front of her and touch rather than the invisible words she could only hear. Heaving a hissing sigh, she looked up to see small structures in the distance, like tiny toys. "Play! Fun! Hear that???" There was no one around to question, but even so she pointed and looked around excitedly. Tail flinging front side to side, Sho dropped onto all fours to run towards the little toy town.
It took her quite the while to arrive, but when she did she was tired and confused because the small town she had been chasing was suddenly much bigger than her. That or- "Sssho ssshrunk!" 'No, no' The voice inside her soothed, 'It was just far away so it looked small, you haven't shrunk' Tilting her head to the side, she let out a quiet, "Oooh.." Accepting the knowledge that she hadn't gotten smaller but still slightly confused as to what happened. Though she would wonder more about it, a delicious smell came past her nose, distracting her from her thoughts.
Following the smell, Sho soon found herself by a building, a small structure with more than one entry holes in it for some reason. In one of the higher, smaller holes she found the source of her intrigue- a round brown circle with red fruit slices sticking out in a lovely manor. It smelled of apples. Drooling slightly, she started to reach out before the voice scolded, 'That's not yours, you shouldn't just take it' "But no one is eating it, it will go baaaad...!" She complained back, deciding to ignore the voice this time in favor of the savory smell.
Just as she was about to grab the dish, a shrill barking alarm sounded up as a tiny terror bolted around the building's corner. The little dog didn't even reach Sho's knees but once she saw it making a bee line straight for her and making all that racket she took off in the opposite direction. Scared it was enraged she just tried to eat its food, she climbed up and stuck her claws in the nearest tree while the little beast yelped up a storm at her. If one stopped to peer up in the leaves at what the tiny excited puppy was barking at, they might find quite the hilarious sight.
