Vanguard Rules
Vanguard characters are combat NPC's that are attached to a faction. They are owned by the faction and are controlled by the faction. As such, they are not owned by a player and are therefore subject to permanent death, they can not be auto-killed however. These characters are armed and armored by the faction. Thus, any member of the faction can buy gear for them. These NPCs are subject to the limited inventory of a combat NPC. The Vanguard NPCs are set at level three. Should a vanguard NPC be killed, they can be replaced for a fee. Any member of the faction can replace a dead Vanguard NPC.
Maximum number of Vanguard NPCs is 5.
Cost of replacing a Vanguard NPC is 2000 gold.
Vanguard NPC character sheets belong in the faction post in this board.
A Fallen Vanguard NPC's gear counts as loot, and can be picked up by any survivor of the battle.
Vanguard NPC's can be any of the rookie classes. Fighter, Mage, Craftsman, Rogue, Lord.
