Basic Information
Name:
Jorkahn Wealddir
Race: Half-Elkagr
Age: 19
Gender: Male
Height: 5' 8"
Weight: 140 Pounds
Eyes: Left green right blue
Hair: Platinum blonde hair with light brown highlights
Class/Occupation:
Fighter Sub Mage
Nobility:
None
Starting Morality: Neutral
Faction: Neutral
Languages: Cruic, Sissak
Appearance: Jorkahn is a wiry fellow, not very tall and yet not very short. He has a very slight build with a bit of visible muscle tone. He has good posture though he tends to be shrunk into himself slightly as if attempting to protect himself from the cold or as if barely cringing from an incoming slap. He has a very peculiar genetic trait shared from an ancient relative that has not been seen in his family for generations and has all been but forgotten about due to the loss of their records and family lineage.
The boy looks mostly human, being only about twenty percent elf. His ears are slightly tipped and only those knowledgeable about elves or those who know what to look for would likely recognise it in him. Jorkahn is very feminine and could easily pass off as a woman in the right clothes and makeup with his androgynous voice and features. His facial hair is often shaven off, and even when it isn't the hair is too thin to be seen with ease. He is often wearing a white, green, or blue, somewhat form fitting T-shirt with a brown, hooded jacket if it is cold. In wet weather, he will sometimes have a bark-brown travelling cloak with a leaf green side underneath. The design has been a somewhat strange family tradition that has somehow survived the generations. His pants are durable, yet flexible, cloth often coloured brown, green, or black.
The young male's hair is as described above, a platinum blonde with barely visible light brown highlights. It is a medium to long length that grows just past his shoulders and is often tied up in a ponytail or tucked under his hood, armour, or shirt. Jorkahn will often be wearing a brown burlap backpack with all kinds of odds and ends.
Personality: Jorkahn has recently gone through a drastic change in his personality. Previously shy and timid, he has grown cold and seemingly uncaring after a recent incident involving his family. The boy is susceptible to episodes where he closes himself off from those around him and falls silent. During these moments he is often having flashbacks in his mind or mildly to moderately psychotic thoughts. Jorkahn has had vengeance on the mind lately and is likely to become violently antagonistic around Royal Justean Guard members and is wary around SKC supporters.
The young man is still fiercely loyal to his friends and nearly willing to die for them. He still believes that diversity is an important part of life and one should not be judged for their race or creed. However, his beliefs are a bit hypocritical as he has grown to harbour a slight hatred towards humans and Elkagr alike. The warrior is unlikely to let oppressive acts in his vicinity go unpunished.
Religious he is not, sometimes thinking the gods do not exist altogether. However this does not mean his mind is closed off to the possibility, he has just never taken much stock in what he feels are the ramblings of the spiritual.
History: Jorkahn was born to the Wealddir clan. As far as he is aware the history of his family isn't very well known, even to his parents. He has a half sister and a half brother, both are several years older than he is. His sister, Valorie, is from his mother's side. His mother married into the family and is fully human, born and raised in Helkorth she is rather hearty and very fit. Well versed in many different trades and natural schools of knowledge she acts as her husband's confidant and advisor when it comes to crafts trade. Jorkahn's brother, Drarthir, comes from his father's side and has more elfish features than his younger siblings.
Jorkahn's father, Pal'anorn, head of his family and owner of their trading enterprise in Viktoria, is about forty to fifty percent Elkagr and his features show as such. Drarthir looks even more elfish than his father as his mother was an Elkagr emissary. Jorkahn has asked many times about the whereabouts of his father's former mate, but both his father and his brother change the subject whenever it is brought up. Pal'anorn was born in Sorath and later moved with his parents to Fordeth.
In Fordeth his father was hardened into an apt conversationalist and eventually formed a great deal of knowledge in trade and commerce. His father was also known to be exceptionally well gifted in the political scene, but it was never made clear as to why he moved away from politics and Fordeth in the first place and directed his focus to trade and commerce. His father has told Jorkahn that their family has always been rather wealthy, even before they moved to Viktoria, but every time the boy tried to inquire further about any specifics his father would suddenly become busy with his work.
This leads to another aspect of Jorkahn's life, he has never been particularly close with either of his parents or his brother for that matter. The only friend he has had in life was his sister Valorie, and even they rarely talk of late. Jorkahn and his family are all literate, they can read and write and even own books of their own that they keep hidden away from the public eye. His father owns his own private library, though Jorkahn has only seen it once.
Jorkahn was never taught the intricacies of his family business and was often overlooked as a child. This isn't to say that his parents were neglectful or did not love him, they were just preoccupied with the business and their older children. The boy was in fact never planned and both of his parents were rather surprised when they found out his mother was pregnant with him. They have however given him a relatively safe place to grow up and provided many opportunities for him to do and learn what he wanted to.
Jorkahn has always been fascinated with martial and weapon arts and even the aspect of magic. His family adamantly believes that magic is an unbecoming art, but the boy believes otherwise. The few books on magic he has been able to find he has kept a closely guarded secret and has even tried casting before. To his dismay, he cannot seem to cast a spell, but he did pick up rather quickly on the more physical side of self-defense.
Jorkahn grew up mostly alone, left to his own devices. He often travelled out of town when he wasn't with his sister and explored the wilderness around him, sometimes disappearing for days at a time. His family knew that he was much more capable than they were at protecting himself, so they were never worried about him. His solitude has led him to be a rather shy individual, and though physically capable he is not very confident in himself and can be downright cowardly at times.
His current goals are unclear, Jorkahn wishes to read magic and grows tired of being alone. He no longer wishes to live in a place where he simply exists and wants to find a place he feels he truly belongs. He wants to find friends and grow as a person and maybe even find out more about his family's, as well as Cruinthe's, history.
All of his history written beyond this point are new developments in Jorkahn's life:
