Ithe Huntress
The Ithe are a warrior race of large predatory cat-like humanoids. While colloquially known as Ithe to most cruic speakers, they are also known as the Pantarii by High Cruic speakers, the Methtar by Elkagr, the Skoolmak by Skaldi, and the Voshkrant by Drokagr. They are understood to be intelligent, but they do not interact with humans or other races in any positive ways. Scholars suppose that the Ithe themselves see every other creature as prey to be hunted, which explains a lot of the behavior the Ithe exhibit towards outsiders.
Most of the time an Ithe Huntress is part of a team of several Huntresses. These Huntresses actively hunt game and other humanoids for food for their tribe. The Ithe are extremely secretive and stealthy, and have yet to give up any locations of their bases under duress. Ithe Huntresses have been known to kidnap humans and others found in their territory, none of whom survive the encounter. Huntresses carry steel weapons and wear armor, so it is supposed that they have a grasp of technology.
