The tavern seemed quite clean compared to how he'd lived in the foothills, and if the meal he'd bought were any indication then the food was good, what luck considering it was the only tavern in town. For now while he was around the area observing the changes under the Alliance he'd base himself within the inn, the room was adequate and for now he'd left all 7 of the iron ingots in there rather than having to lug them about for himself, the leathers he kept on himself for now as he had nowhere else to put them and bundled up into a roll and tied to his back they were nowhere near as much trouble as the metals had been.
Once he'd finished eating Roald sipped the remainder of the water before putting his own glass and plate on the counter, to save the time of the barmaids who seemed rather busy, and left the room looking for the forge he'd been told was around. It wasn't hard to find, then again a fully functioning forge couldn't be hidden, nor would there be any reason to hide it, it was just a forge. Roald couldn't resist examining each of the tools as well as the forge itself and the anvils, each seemed well made, far better than he had set up in his own shack. Now that he had the materials and the equipment he could get to it. At some point he'd have to make some sort of proper set up in his own house rather than muddling by as he was with his equipment.
It was unfortunate that the forge costed to use, but then the people who ran the tavern needed to make money also, their food was quite reasonably priced, and so he couldn't really grudge them a slight cost to use their facilities. They did have to maintain them after all, and it wasn't as if he couldn't afford to use them.
So far:
