Allyria landed on top the tower, like she had been before. Shaking off the effects of the transfer from the spectral realm still, she found her feet and stumbled over to the edge of the tower. Surveying the battlefield, she found that things had moderately improved since she accidentally passed through to the spectral realm.
"Well... that's not so bad."
First she mended her wounds a little more, then she targeted the enemy troops coming in from the east. She gathered wellspring energy in her left arm, charging up the cannon spell that had been so effective before. She aimed, and fired three shots over towards the east. The crimson stars arced and raced through the air above the city and would collide with the battalions in that direction.

King Redgar Karligar -Encountered enemies: 76th Battalion-2 Infantry (8 dead) "EDGAR! EDGAR! EDGAR! EDGAR!" The chanting continued and Edgar showed himself in front of Redgar. He was not expecting a man sitting atop a gigantic wolf. At first the surprise was easy to read on his face, but he straightened up and hefted his weapon, gaining a strong combat stance. "Wolf rider or not, I'll cut you down here and now rebel."-See next Post- Jorkahn Wealddir -Encountered Enemies: 70th Battalion-8 Infantry, 7 archers Their attempts to ride into an area that was less populated by enemy troops would have them face more soldiers than they realized. It seems the 70th battalion's companies were heading in this direction, and they were quite apt at moving through streets and surrounding their opponents. Rithaleya and Jorkahn would find themselves running into quite a few enemy combatants, infantry with archers behind. Jorkahn managed to slay a few of the soldiers before a volley of arrows flew at him. "Tighten up! This mounted fool can't break a shield wall!""His armor's too tough for our arrows!" "Hold him here! Focus on the other one! The commander is on his way!"1D100 => 29 Hit!! (Zone 2) Face 30 - 54.5 = 0 1D100 => 28 Hit!! (Zone 3) Neck 30 - 54.5 = 0 1D100 => 19 Hit!! Allyria Allenmorde -Encountered Enemies: NoneExplosions ripped through the lines of the 79th battalion, killing hundreds of men and mortally wounding others. The carnage was palpable. The fear was even more so. With morale collapsing, the column started to retreat without orders to do so. Fyrra Na'Limndra -Encountered Enemies: 85th BattalionAn armored figure appeared at the other end of the street, cutting through militia like it was nothing. Then the explosions ripped through the seventy ninth's ranks. "Coward... come out and fight."-See next post- Tyr -Encountered Enemies: None-Nothing to add. Tyr is in a safe space.
@namaphry -Encountered Enemies: 70th Battalion Same as Jorkahn's post, was not the target of attacks. Kell Lo'TharanEncountered Enemies: 77th Battalion2 Infantry With his initial surprise spent, and his cleaving into the enemy ranks noticed, more troops started to move towards him. Two infantry men remained to attack him, but their spears missed their target by mere inches each. It would only be moments before a full platoon arrived.

He broke through a few soldiers before being surrounded entirely. It was a bad situation to be in, but he was confident his prowess in battle and Tyr's superb armor would keep him alive. The young man overheard the enemy's chatter and swung twice in a wide arc at the nearby infantry. Whether or not some of the men fell to his swings he would yell out to get their attention. "I have already killed one of your pathetic commanders, what is one more? He's going to need all the help he can get!" Though he worried for his horse, hopefully, his taunt would keep the enemy focused on him and Rithaleya would either be able to get clear or take out some soldiers without any trouble.
Explosions wracked the city to the south-east, startling the warrior for a moment. He thought about what would happen if he were to be caught up in chaos. The thought excited him and the adrenaline began to kick in again.

His robes looked heavy, like they had something to them, perhaps heavy leather, or cloth of some kind. Fyrra wasn't sure. Then the explosions ripped through the front lines nearby and her attention shifted to those. She looked back and the figure was calling her out. A coward huh? Fyrra had never thought of herself as a coward. She decided to lay some of her heaviest and deadliest spells on her new foe. She would not pull punches. If she did so, she knew she would die.
First she attempted to shatter one of his bones with her necromantic powers. Then she would attempt to deprive him of his senses with a seizure.
She had no idea what else to do but wait to see if her spellwork paid off. It would only be seconds. But if it did, she would have Merrake fire on the man with her bow, hopefully slaying him before he could get a spell off.

Allyria didn't wait to survey the damage she did to enemy forces. Instead she opted to rapidly fire off as many star cannons as possible before having to recharge again. At the same time, taking a second to continue to heal herself. Dying would do herself no good. Not that she could die. Rather, falling incapacitated would do no good. She would have to correct her mode of thinking every time Death came up as an obstacle.
She charged up her star cannon, the energy cascading into a small point in her left palm before firing it off, followed by two more. This time she aimed for three Companies closest in the southern protrusion of enemy forces. Specifically the 77th's front three companies. The stars would arc through the sky, aiming to hit the center of those groupings of enemies. Explosions would rip through their ranks, and shatter their resolve.

With no battle prowess to speak of, Rithaleya didn't have a better plan for what to do when cornered without an escape route than surrender. But, that didn't seem quite as likely to work here as it would on most days. She didn't want to leave her horse behind, but if she couldn't pass by their lines or enter an alleyway, the only escape seemed to be through buildings or over the rooftops.
She fired an arrow toward the men Jorkahn was rushing into, as if it would help. It was mostly to keep him from wondering what she was doing. Then, she started to move. She couldn't fire while riding, but if she stayed still, with those archers prepared to fire, she'd need a new horse soon, even if she didn't take an arrow personally. There had to be a way out of the battalion... the alternative wasn't worth thinking about.

"Wait wait wait... you're telling me your mother named you Edgar on purpose? Was she stupid? Did she forget there's an 'R' at the front of it?"
He was being completely serious. He was entirely baffled by the possibility that there was someone out there with his name that was slightly different. Different enough for it to piss him off and seriously concern him. Not to mention the fact that this person was also trying to kill him. He was a duke for gods sakes! How could a low born piece of shit like that guy over there even hope to harm him.
"You must be totally confused. I'm a lord. You can't win."
And then Redgar attack from atop Baalrung. The wolf moving, allowing him to strike three times.

After resupplying, and quenching their respective thirsts, the trio traveled in haste towards the southern entrance to the city. There wasn't much in the way of fighting along the way, although the sounds of combat could be heard down one of the streets west of their path, and they made good time towards a scene unfolding. It would seem Redgar had found a commander of his own, and the challenge was set. Tyr would close the gap enough to step in should anything bad happen, but keep his distance all the same as Kilinger had for his lord.
"Be prepared to assist, but let us see how the good Duke Karligar handles his duel shall we?" Tyr had his bow out and ready, an arrow set in his hand but loose. He wouldn't draw and fire unless it was necessary to save Redgar's life, or at least seemed that way. Not that the man would likely appreciate such assistance even if it was honestly necessary, but better an angry friend than a dead one.
Moving to the space just north of Redgar, not engaging troops yet. Stats when life isn't keeping me buried under stuff to do.

The infantrymen fell around him, yet more seemed to fill the gaps he continued to make, there were far more of them than there were him and while he was slowly but surely whittling them down, it was far to slowly for his liking really. He was dealing in small numbers only, a few men here and there that he smashed quickly and brutally, like this there was no way he was going to have any sort of significant impact on the fighting, yet there was some satisfaction in it still. For every man of the SKC that Kell removed from the fight he was removing one more potential threat to the members of the Morith militia. If they were attacking him where they couldn't find a way to breach his armours, mundane or magical, and he could fight them with ease, then they couldn't be attacking one of the lesser armed or armoured members of the militia that would fall to them far easier. That at least was something.
Still, there were very few things that he wouldn't give right now to have some sort of way to mow down great numbers of the opposition in one swoop, or cause them to flee for some reason or other, break their morale or crush their spirits. Yet for all his wishing he had no way to accomplish such a feat, and so for now he was stuck with his hammer, swinging it with as much strength as he could muster towards the troops immediately in front of him.

Get him!"Jorkan's taunting had gotten the better of the enemy infantry and archers. While one man went down under Rithaleya's bow fire as an arrow sprouted from his chest, the others turned their attention on Jorkahn who had cleaved his way through four more of their comrades. Things did not look hopeless for either half-elf, as things were, they could deal with this rabble easily. The remaining infantry charged, but the archers held their fire as they did not want to shoot their own comrades. They were not so incensed as to lose their reason. The infantry would find that Jorkahn's armor was still impenetrable to their weapons. As the situation looked hopeful for Rithaleya and Jorkahn, it looked equally hopeless for their enemies. Allyria Allenmorde -Encountered Enemies: NoneExplosions ripped through the lines of the 77th battalion, killing hundreds of men and mortally wounding others. Fire, blood, rained down from the skies as smoke billowed through the air. A shop was on fire, people were screaming, and it looked like the battalion's morale had broken. They were in full retreat. Fyrra Na'Limndra -Encountered Enemies: 85th Battalion-See next post- Kell Lo'Tharan Encountered Enemies: NoneHis enemies were now dead. The explosions that had torn apart the battalion before him had only left him with two enemies to deal with, and his hammer swings had taken them out of the fight on a permanent basis. Perhaps they would never fight again with shattered rib cages or a broken pelvis. Both men were still alive, but they wouldn't be for long. Permanent casualties. Such is war. Once again Kell was faced with the choice of 'what to do now'.

Redgar -vs- Edgar Horncutter
"Ho ho! That wolf is pretty fast! Not fast enough though!"Edgar Horncutter had managed to land a slash on the wolf with his two handed bastard sword. He managed to do the same to Redgar as well. Cutting the lord across the back before he felt the spike of the halberd be driven through his left thigh. He backed away from his quarries. Things had started out immediately good for him. But now things had changed. He was bleeding out of his left thigh, and he had no means of fixing that. A medic could help him, but this was an honorable duel. Fyrra -vs- Longcatch
As Longcatch scanned the horizon he felt incredible pain shoot through his leg. His femur shattered into hundreds of shards, leaving him crippled on the ground. Then immediately he suffered through a seizure, unable to do anything at all other than shake and convulse. He foamed at the mouth, and tried to not bite his tongue. Something was seriously wrong. He had never fought against a mage like this before. A mage that could attack his body without fire or lightning. He kept looking around for his foe, until his vision blurred and then went black entirely. He was blind. That is when he screamed. Damnation! If this keeps up we won't be able to take much more!
Redgar thought to himself. It was better then to end it all as quickly as possible. Redgar turned his body, and as he did so Baalrung turned and lunged at the enemy commander before him. It's jaws snapping wide open to clamp down on their opponent. At the same time Redgar jabbed his spear three more times at his opponent. ONce for the enemy's head, another time for his enemy's neck, and another for the head again. He was hoping to land at least two mortal blows against the fool.

Actions - Redgar -Attack w/ Halberd @ enemy Head -Attack w/ Halberd @ enemy Neck -Attack w/ Halberd @ enemy Head
Baalrung -Attack -Dodge
Wolf Rider -Redgar is more apt at riding wolves than other animals. The wolves respond better to him as well. -Dire wolf mount that Redgar is riding gets 2 actions instead of one. -Stamina Cost: 10% cordoned off.
*Riding I*
"It looks like it's favoring the other. His pride will be wounded if we step in before he is rendered unconscious, my Lord Mardok."
Is what her mouth said.
But Katrina must not be allowed to inherit.
Is what her eyes said as she looked at Tyr. She was not asking him for help right now. And the help she would ask for wasn't for Redgar's benefit. It was for everyone's benefit. Redgar was a malicious moron at times, but he was useful in keeping Katrina in check. With just the one heartbeat separating Karligar from a reign of terror, Mina was going to do what she could to keep Redgar alive.
