Things had seemed to sort themselves out at this point. The Skaldi managed to get back on its feet and fight back now. As the one bandit was suffering from his seizure, the other dropped its weapon. She could not have executed her spells more flawlessly. They had done everything that she intended. The heat from the weapon had burned the one bandit, and with him disarmed it would be all the easier for the Skaldi to finish him off. She hoped the lizard-man would recognize her assistance for what it was. She did not want to tousle with someone that could break her in half very easily. Merrake would curse her for it, as she'd have to tie it up in melee. Especially since she was close to exhausting her energy.
"Please finish the brigand, I'd rather not have to call the Guardian Corps. to finish this, Skaldi."
She didn't say it with any ill intent, or sharpness. It was obviously a request. The Guardian Corps. came with things like questions and time wasting. Things she didn't want to be a part of. Instead of getting further involved, she chose to heal the skaldi to the best of her ability.

Philip was relieved to find that the strange person that had come round the corner was well practised with magic and had somehow stiched up my bleeding wound from a short distance away. She had also made one of the bandits collapse in a heap on the ground and the other's weapon burn the holder's hand into dropping it. Pip couldn't believe his luck in such a desperate situation. "I appreciate the help" said Pip, trying to sound kind and thankful. "One bandit, I can deal with him. And what is a 'guardian corpse'" Pip was really confused as to what this was as he had never heard of one before. He felt as if he had met someone who he might be able to talk to finally and gain some information or maybe she might even be able to teach him some magic.

"Ack! You bitch! I'll gut you next!"The Bandit picked up his comrade's axe as his own had yet to cool from the Kalimbra's spell, and executed two quick slashes with it at the Skaldi. The first one missed, wide by a large margin. The second one connected on the Skaldi's left shoulder, leaving a small cut there. The warrior had no armor there, other than his scales, which did nothing to mitigate the hard steel's contact with his leathery serpentine skin. The Skaldi's counter attack had done nothing but cause the bandit to retreat two paces to get out of the way of the attacks. He didn't even actively dodge, it was just blind luck that got the bandit out of harms way.

Fyrra knew frustration in that moment. She could only continue to stitch up the Skaldi for so long. She had healed him. She expected the bandit to die promptly by the Skaldi's weapon. She did not vent her frustration. The Kalimbra knew better.
The scant few seconds between attacks were exhausting. She wanted this fight over so she could go about her business. Yet she wouldn't just let a bandit go. She had no love for those people.
No, if the Skaldi continued to flounder like a fish on shore then she would intervene again.

Philip stared at the bandit and wondered how he had managed to dodge both of his attacks. He was exhausted and thought his tiredness would soon get the better of him. All he could think about was getting this over with. He looked at the other party and saw her disappointment in her eyes. If he wanted to finish this he would have to end it soon before she intervened and made him look incompetent. That was the last thing he wanted to look like. An Idiot. Even though he would try to attack again he could help but be afraid he would miss again.
The bandit looked terrified in his eyes but didn't show it in his face. He was obviously well trained in combat but he was frightened nonetheless as he was surrounded by the body's of his friends. All it would take to end him now was small knock on the head like he was trained to do. By small he clearly meant severe.

Results -Bandit 5 killed.
Luck was on the Skaldi's side this time. Or was it the mere result of a trained blade acting under desperation? As he had clung to the hope that his weapon would strike too, so did the bandit. His chops were off by mere inches. The Skaldi's response was well executed. The Bandits head was cracked open like a tropical fruit, and his blood and viscera.began to pool around his opened skull.
Rewards: (all loot distribution is decided between players) 53 Ritz (gold) 5 minor healing potions (heals 30 hp) Fyrra and Philip both gain 1 Stat point.

-"I could have helped."-
-"Getting too involved would have hurt his pride, Merrake."-
Now that the battle was over Merrake expressed herself. Fyrra had more or less stopped the other Drokagr from intervening in the fight. So far the only influence they had over the contest was magical. The only onions things were the healing and the weapon that had suddenly turned red hot. The bandits had several small pouches of gold on them. Those didn't interest the Kalimbra. She didn't need money that would be hard to explain. There were also vials of a red healing potion on their belts. Also useless to her.
"The spoils of this ambush are yours, Skaldi. Come, Merrake."
The Drokagr women started to head towards the Tipsy Darkling.
