Personality: Maevi is a person that appreciates money and good quality service and goods. On the other hand, she has a great disdain for the masses and the poor. She likens people below her level of social stature, lordship, to mere animals and servants. As a peer of the realm she is greatly respected, having run her father's land since he became ill several years ago with impeccable efficiency. She guards the secret that she is a mage closely, and works the magic she knows into her life in ways that are small and therefore go unnoticed.
History:
Maevi was young when she discovered she was a mage. One of the servants in her father's ruined castle had children that she played with. One of the boys got her angry by pulling her hair. She thought about setting him on fire to show him that he can't do that and get away with it. Her thoughts turned reality when his own hair burst into ravenous flames that devoured him. She was only eight, and the boy had been nine. The servant was a lowly servant, she went missing the following day at the start of spring. Her father came by later that morning to talk to her about her powers. It ran in the family, and it was a secret that needed to be guarded.
From that time on Maevi grew close to her father. He trained her in the ways of administration and magic until he fell ill, sometime around her fifteenth birthday. Five long years passed, and despite her arcane and mundane methods, he died from Zyggs. She had his body burned.
As Maevi was the sole heir to the family, with her mother having died in childbirth, and her father having passed away recently, she took control of her father's land. Now she begins to build her trade empire.
