Allyria watched the other two go back and forth with their exchange. She thought her own gear could use a little improving, but it would have to wait. So far she hadn't come against anything that warranted such a change other than the crows, and honestly, there was no war to fight at the moment. She didn't care about the Royal Justean Guard's claim on the throne, nor did she thing the Republic of Cruinthe, though a good idea, was going to get anywhere at this juncture. The empire's grip on Cruinthe through Julgrava was too tight, something else would have to happen first before she became interested. Besides, if things ever got too chaotic she could abandon Morith and Cruinthe as a whole and go back to her land and Korasus and live there until the opportunity arises to branch out again.
"Of course, Jorkahn. It can wait. Times aren't all that dangerous right now."
Tyr's description of the fitting process for the second skin made from cordite thread was of course, sensible. She became confused when he suggested the need for privacy. Why would she need privacy? Was he suggesting in some roundabout way that they should become intimate? She wasn't sure of that suggestion either. He was good looking, and a Duke, but she didn't know him that well. She was glad in that moment that Vekkia did not speak Cruic. That would have made for an awkward moment. The other Nocturnal half-Drokagr could be jealous at times and was always possessive of Allyria. The children were making faces. It was only a matter of time before one of them translated for Vekkia. It would be Lily of course, who was slightly offended at the rejected marriage proposal.
-"Duke Mardok wants Allyria naked in private."-
-"He what? Allyria!"
-"He just wants to fit me for some clothing!"-
-"You make your own clothes!"-
-"It'll be fine, he can do the measurements right here!"- She turned back to Tyr. "You can do the measurements right here. Some parties don't like the idea of me being alone with anyone. Vekkia."
Allyria shot a murderous glance her friend's way, who raised her chin and shut her eyes and went back to work in the dark. Allyria rolled her eyes and looked back at the two men in the room. Given Jorkahn's nervous nature, she thought maybe it would be better if they went behind a stack of inventory. Still in view but there was enough stuff on the shelves to allow a modicum of separation for those that would be made nervous.
"Perhaps right over there on the other side of that stack of iron?"

"I-I'll be sure to stop by as soon as I c-can!" And with that the boy watched and listened to the conversation between the two nobles. They were talking business and craft in some way or another. Though Jorkahn had a little understanding of business due simply to proximity to his father and brother, his craft was of a different mind.
The half-breed found himself becoming a bit more fidgety at the sudden seriousness of Tyr's words towards Allyria. He didn't immediately understand what the Shaper was trying to say. It wasn't until he was blatant at the mention of the word naked that the lad's eyes widened. He had grown up in a rather diverse family, so he wasn't particularly bothered by nudity. Jorkahn just chose to respect other's privacy whether they want him to or not.
"F-f-feel free to do whatever is easiest, don't need to m-move for my s-sake. I can just l-look in the other direction." The Champion of Jewels kept his gaze away from the two missing the exchange between Allyria and her family.

The whole exchange was made more awkward by the unintentional inferences of the children. Not that he could actually speak drokagr, but the general tones gave it away. Tyr just wanted to be accommodating, nudity didn't really impact him much. Turns out that just made people think he wanted her alone for other reasons. Oh well, not much you could do there. The Duke shifted behind the stack of iron with the materials balanced in his arms and set up his impromptu tailoring shop.
"Stand straight but relaxed please, arms slightly away from the body." As she stood Tyr would start rapidly sewing cloth together into patches, draping them over parts of her body to check the fit. The places he ended up touching were the points where her bones were clearly visible to get a feel for the contours, such as the collarbones, elbows, and hips, but he worked otherwise by sight. Several minutes went by and the skin came together to the point of being wearable. Tyr would offer the piece for Allyria to try on, then walk around inspecting the fit. Even a small bit of extra material somewhere would make the whole thing bunch up awkwardly and ruin the fit.
"How does it feel? Try moving about some, make sure it moves with you."

Allyria thought it would be far more hands on than it had actually been. She was quite relieved, as she did not want to have to stave off rumors and the like amongst the children and Vekkia. She allowed him to take his measurements, then watched him put together the suit itself. When he was finished, she slipped into it, and pulled it to it's maximum stretch. With a quick walk and some exercise stretches she determined that it fit perfectly.
"Yes, a perfect fit. I can't wait to enchant it."
The woman was already working over in her mind what she would do with the skin. Some shielding of course, and some passive healing to help stitch together wounds so she could continue fighting. Other than that she wasn't too sure though. There would be much to dwell upon.
"Now, what do I owe you for this?"

Jorkahn just stood there, staring into a corner of the warehouse. He was fidgeting something fierce, thumbs twirling at a mile a minute and eyes flashing from top to bottom to side to side in this small corner. He hadn't the slightest clue what was going on behind him, only what he was hearing. It didn't take long before it sounded like they were done, payment being negotiated and all. Jorkahn dared not turn around, however. Just in case the fitting was still being done.
Sometimes his sheepishness was exhausting to more than just him.

Tyr watched the motions intently, observing the main joint areas as Allyria stretched it out. Too much and they'd rip, too little and her range of motion would be limited. It seemed to be a good fit though, which meant Tyr had a completely new way of working Cordite. Done properly he could almost use it to make clothes, wouldn't that make quite the statement at court if he ever attended again? Substitute Aquate and Arcite for color and you could make quite the fashion statement.
"I'm not quite sure. The idea of magic is so...expansive and new. I haven't the faintest what would be useful, or in the end possible..." He was trying to mull over the most common things he might run into that magic could help deal with. For the most part his armor would take care of any physical threats from people. Magic would be an issue however, and the forces of nature.
"Magical shielding would be wonderful, in case I end up on the wrong side of a practitioner. I wear heavy enough armor to stop most everything else...perhaps though something to stop me from being crushed during a fall? And to stop me from being thrown about in the first place?" Those last two would be a problem because of the armor itself, the weight of it would smash him flat in an instant. If the skin could be made to stop him from being moved by force, and also land light as a feather from any fall, he could continue to wear the heavy plate without worry.

"Yes, those are things I could do. Mostly with wind magic. The shielding I can do on its own. You'll want the broad shielding then? Nothing specific, just mild protection against everything."
Not that she could specifically defend against much. She considered doing her own enchantments now. It wouldn't take long, and she wouldn't even have to take the suit off. In fact that might allow for more control as it will be touching her everywhere. Being a conduit for the power and wellspring energy would make it much easier. The first spell she put on the skin was one that would restore her wellspring energy over time, allowing her to cast more spells more often. The second spell was for healing wounds. It wouldn't fix any damage to the second skin, but it would stitch small wounds of hers back together over time. If she was left on the brink of death, the suit would save her. The final two spells she put on it were shielding spells. One small shielding spell to protect her physically, and one stronger spell to protect her from magic.
"Ah, there... never even know there's spells on it."
Pre-being a forgotten and very pre-hacklung plague.

Sitting on a stool to relax was wonderful with his injury still only barely healed. He watched as Allyria did....something with her skin. Enchanted it he supposed, it wasn't exactly a visible process but that was at least what she'd said she was doing. Looking down at his own skin, he wondered briefly whether he should take it off for the enchanting or if it wouldn't be worth the effort.
"You mentioned healing earlier. If the skin can hold it, something to help patch me together after something like...the incident earlier today would also be quite helpful." Being healed in the field would make recovery that much faster, and might save his life should he ever get stuck in such a situation alone. "Should I remove the skin for you to enchant it? Or will it be fine if I continue to wear it?" Peeling the skin away from his wound had been so much fun earlier, doing it a second time didn't appeal to him if he could avoid it. This wound would make exploration difficult though. If he couldn't walk properly he wouldn't be able to assist overly much. He could drive the cart, sure, but his strength was the best gift he had. Hobbling about made lifting heavy things a lot harder.
"And..I hate to suggest this after the work we've put into it, but we may wish to delay this trip somewhat. I will need some time to recover from our encounter today, and my Duchy will surely be needing me soon. Perhaps after some additional time to prepare we can attempt our expedition from a better starting point?"

"Ah, right. No need to remove it. You might feel a slight tingling sensation though. I have some ideas about what to bestow upon the skin."
Allyria began to focus on the skin itself. It was ultimately her decision as to what to enchant the suit with. Tyr had given her a few ideas to incorporate into the skin, ideas that she could use to incorporate into her actual armor later. It would do no harm to give Tyr a magical shield that would help deflect magical blows to his person. Or rather, absorb some of the power from whatever spell hit him, if it was mundane. She would weave that spell directly into the fabric of the skin. She could feel the spell push her over some kind of threshold and into a whole other league. She could feel herself brimming with power. This encouraged her to push on and place three more enchantments on the skin. The first of the three was one to mend his wounds proactively, like the one she had. Except this one was a little better. The second was a spell that would allow him to resist a harsh blow such as from wind or impact force, helping him to stay on his feet. The third and final enchantment she would place on his suit this time was one that would help to catch him in the event of a fall. The wind would come out of the skin in order to slow him down.
"There, I added a spell that will help resist mundane combat spells. Like fireballs and that kind of stuff, except it's chromatic so it'll resist everything a little bit. How's that?"
