Korasus Academy
Korasuan mages are provided their first lessons at the academy located on Ne'Turak Balika. The students are educated on the theory and mathematics involved in casting magic. No practical exams are held. Strict exercises and exams are thrust upon the students. Responsibility is the first thing mage students at the academy learn. Those that fail to use their knowledge responsibly or pass any of the morality tests regarding magic are not permitted to study, and are watched closely by Executioners.
Korasuan scholars also study at the academy. A variety of topics are taught there, and many that graduate go on to work in the colony's government, or enter the employment as administrators for a variety of local families and companies. Some leave Korasus and go to other Dramanae cities.
The Korasuan Academy is a tuition based school, and many simply cannot afford it. There are scholarships for those that are capable, but born on the lower end of the socio-economic scale.
