Early Morning
After having arrived back in Morith after her little trip to Sorath the prior two days she set about work early in the morning to begin building the add ons to the structures that she had acquired almost a week ago. It felt like a week ago. Allyria was by no means a skilled mason, but she felt like she knew enough about the subject to at least give it a go. Working with stone was simple. Just cut it into the shape you want, and then slap some mortar on it and you're good to go. It was the complicated stone work that was complicated. Like for instance building a castle.
She wasn't trying to build a castle. She was trying to build a damn forge.
Math wasn't allyria's strong suit but she figured she'd need at least two of the large stone blocks to construct the forge. First she cut them down into bricks, and then began to arrange them in the fashion that she wanted. Her forge was built into the corner of the structure near the street. She laid the stones out so that there was a large square, and then a long and thinner area would come jutting off to the side.
Then she took it apart after she was pleased with the edges of the design and mortared the stones as she put them back together. She let it dry, and then went to work on the inside of the thing. Between the wall and the 'handle' of the forge she left an opening into the inside. There she laid the stones out so that air could flow in and up into the basin of the forge. Adding the bellows contraption was easy, she put the tubing through the opening, hammered it together, bolted it, and then put the pump together. That took several hours, and by the time she was done she was covered in grease. The whole thing worked off of a lever that was attached to an arm that hung off to where she would be standing, near where the opening of the whole pan would be if it were a frying pan.
Chimney construction was next. She laid the stones up, mortaring them as she went, and put the chimney into the roof. The forge was then completely lined with stones at least two bricks thick in all places.
The anvil and the vat of oil for cooling went right next to each other.
She knew how to iron work, she knew what she would need to get her work done.

Her forge cracked and broke after she lit the first fire. She was lucky enough to put the fire out before the whole building burned down, and before she got hurt. It would be such a pain in the ass to fix this now. She'd probably need another whole two blocks of stone just to do that so that it would work and be fixed.
