I should make this man's life hell. Something in the air was screaming in the potential of magic, just by the prickling Ethan felt at the back of his neck. He got that way around most mages, after the last few years being subjected to many mages. Even a few brief scuffles, though so far they obviously had not yet been fatal. So promoted on feeling such things, he saw the need to throw in more people to this problem. Even if they found nothing, Ethan had felt slighted.
He didn't stick around long enough to have Tyr challenge him. He was already gone, and headed back to Fordeth.
Or to somebody that could write for him.
He should probably find someone that could write for him.
Though that might mean pulling around a mage with him.
No thanks. Not for Ethan.

Everything moved quickly but the Kingsman ended up running out and that was that. Tyr gave it a little while and started cleaning his workshop, burning time to see if Ethan would be back in short order to try and catch Jorkahn leaving or something. Tyr was of mixed respect for the kingsman now. Craftsman or not, there was a nervous air hanging around now. The Duke felt like something was coming, something he would have to deal with hard.
So be it, he would be ready.
When Tyr was reasonably certain no one would be coming by he cracked the door to his own room and peered in. With the sliver of light that entered he caught sight of the lad passed out on his bunk and closed the door again, going back to his cleaning. Best let the lad sleep, he'd had a rough time. When he woke up they would have a little chat though.
