This was taking too long. She was sure that there had to be Helixan in these fields. There had to be. Otherwise she'd have to find another way. Ridiculous. Utterly ridiculous.
She was ready to give up on finding them this way. Allyria went back to camp and devised a plan to get into the city. First she would wait for nightfall. Then she would teleport into the city using the flute. Traversing the distance that way would leave her undetected by the patrols. If she disappeared from their tent in the middle of the night, and managed to make the purchases necessary and returned by morning, then she would be able to move along with her plan.
Now all that was left to do was to convince Jorkahn that this was now the right course of action. She meditated on it for a bit, and decided that yes, despite her frustrations it was clear that purchasing the goods from a vendor that had them ready was far more expedient than looking for the one freaking flower in the whole field that was many square miles.

6_sEyp6T Recovered!
Jorkahn lay there coughing for a few more moments before wresting control of his chest and rising to his feet. He couldn't hunt like this, even if he could all the game had likely heard his fits and fled by now. The half-breed sighed in frustration and picked his hunting implements off the ground before stowing them. May as well head back to camp.
The would-be hunter made his way back to their make-shift lodgings before long. He saw Allyria sitting there, she looked frustrated herself. "I hope you have had better luck than I!" He smiled, more a grimace than a friendly gesture.

"Not at all. My luck wasn't as bad as yours. You look terrible. Let me fix that."
Allyria restored his health with her spell. The one that she had used on him before. A white light washed over his body, centralizing on his chest. For a moment, it was quite bright. Once that subsided she let out a sigh. She really didn't have time for messing around in a field while he was obviously dying. There were many who were worse than him, many that didn't have a mage to help them survive this plague.
"Listen. I have to try something else. I'm going to use the flute to go into the city and see if I can find the things I need there. If not, I don't know what else we can do. I don't know who else nearby would have the materials I need. We might have to go elsewhere if that isn't going to work. I also have something I have to do with the council if you remember."
She waited for him to respond.

"I feel terrible, too!" Jorkahn exclaimed in response to Allyria's observation. He nodded when she stated her intention to heal him. The pain in his smile melted away. "Thank you, My Lady, once again." Jorkahn sat next to the fire and poked the embers with a stick, ensuring a uniform burning of fuel. He didn't take very long to think before responding to her. "I imagine it would be too risky for me to accompany you." The Survivalist looked around at their surroundings. The guards didn't seem to be too interested in them and there weren't any immediate dangers in their vicinity.
"Very well, I shall wait here for your return. You needn't rush, I can take care of myself out here. Besides, if you still can not find the reagent you need, we can always go to Mardok."

Despite the healing, Jorkahn did look much worse than he needed. Allyria realized this travel was harsh on him. Tyr was likely still back in Innorsford and it would take a while before the Duke could get back to Mardok. But Mardok held the best chance, her own personal needs aside. She needed to see her family, and she needed to see the council about her condition. Both conversations were important to her. But Jorkahn looking as bad as he did was a reality check for her. Her own needs weren't that important. Sure, that bitch with the Initiative could make her life a little hard, but what was that compared to Jorkahn's life. And the lives of everyone else.
Allyria realized she was being selfish taking him here. The city wasn't likely to have what she was looking for either. If it wasn't in the field, it likely didn't occur naturally here.
"Jorkahn, I'm sorry for bringing you out here. Are you positive that Mardok would have the reagent I need? It seems this field is bereft of it, and if the field is it is likely the city is. If you are positive, I'll bring you to Mardok and we can get you cured. Lord Mardok may not be there by the time we get there, I travel much faster, but would his subjects assist you?"

The young Ritgr shook his head and held up a hand. "I was happy to accompany you. Not only did I get to help a friend possibly save Cruinthe, but I got to learn more about a culture that I am interested in. Even if we were turned away at the gate and I spent most of the journey dying." He was silent for a moment after that. "I can not say for certain if he will have what you are looking for. But, knowing him, he is the most likely person to have scores of anything you could possibly need. Some of his subjects know me. Any that do not are likely to assist me if I show my ring to the right people. However, if you know of a better location I am all ears."
Jorkahn stood from his sitting position. "I know it isn't my place to say, but if you feel the council and your family can be kept waiting then we should be off." The half-breed began to break camp. "Take it from me, My Lady, you shouldn't keep your family waiting too long." The young man decided to leave it at that. He was likely to sour his mood if he went any further.
If Allyria changed her mind he would stop breaking down the camp. If she didn't it wouldn't be long before he was ready.

"At this rate, my family will definitely last longer than you."
Allyria said as she stood up and began to pack up her things. She stuffed the belongings she had somehow managed to scatter throughout the camp in the past day or so into her bags. Then she strapped on her armor and cloak, and put her backpack on. With her flute in one hand she waited for Jorkahn. She needed him to assume the position. Once he did that she would transport them out of there. A simple task, she'd blow into the flute, and think of Mardok. The landing might be rough however, she had never been there. She had an idea of where it was.
"I should warn you before we go, hold on tight. We will be very high up at first."
Once he was ready she'd blow the first note into the flute.

Jorkahn chuckled until something caught in his throat. He coughed for a bit before shrugging. "Maybe you are correct, My Lady." It didn't take long for the half-breed to finish breaking camp. The last thing he did was douse the fire with water and dirt. Jorkahn assumed the position with a hand on Allyria's shoulder. He blinked.
"I may be able to fight disease, but I fear gravity is a much more formidable foe!"
