A dilapidated farm lies several miles outside of Innorsford among the fields near the Innorsford Proving Grounds in the Southeast. This farm has come up in talk about local legends in the Tipsy Darkling. It is believed to be the site of a horrible mass murder. Locals do not dare to tread too close to it though there are many artifacts that can be seen from the road alone within the buildings.
The Haunted Farm Dungeon
-This is an easy dungeon meant for beginners. There are several small locations to explore. There is a dedicated puzzle for each class and an associated reward. Players can complete this dungeon alone. -This is a permanent dungeon. As such when a player begins it a new thread will be made so that another may attempt it. A maximum of 3 instances will be open at once.
Dungeon Conditions:
A Wild Land:-- The area between the farm buildings is occupied by wild salamanders hungry and looking for food. A number of them will attack players as they move between buildings.
A Haze of Haunt:-- The old farm buildings are falling apart, and have been occupied chiefly by small spiders for as long as they've been vacant. The webbing in the halls and corridors is an obstacle that will slow those that pass through it by 50%.

The Haunted Farm -- Start
The Abandoned Tool Shed -Building contents: Rusted Old Farm Tools.
The shed was the first building that would be happened upon. It was small, maybe only ten feet wide and was more of a tall lean-to than anything else. Inside it were many farming implements that had suffered from terrible weather and prolonged exposure. Some were obviously useless, others could be used as improvised weapons by the unprepared. From the shed all three of the farm's other buildings were visible.
To the northeast was the farm house, where the family had lived. Between it and the shed was a single salamander.
To the southeast was the granary silo. Between the structures were two salamanders.
Due east, past both the farm house and the granary was the barn. Between the shed and the barn were five salamanders.

It hadn't been long before he'd heard of the haunted farm from his fellow patrons at the Tipsy Darkling, it had immediately kindled some interest in him, due in no small part to the idea of there being some artifacts within the farm that could potentially prove to be quite useful. It hadn't taken him that long at all to get his kit together and get up there, he'd been told of the danger that it could pose to him, supposedly it was haunted by evil spirits, but he felt as if he needed some sort of excitement. He'd spent so long within his own lands working on them and his gear that he'd had no chance to test it out nor test himself out. A place like this sounded perfect for it, close enough Innorsford that if things went wrong he could get back fairly quickly, although he was hoping that with the equipment he had and the precautions he'd put in place he'd be fine, but still with a hint of mystery and adventure.
The first building he'd approached however had been a complete disappointment, merely a tool shed. Calling it a shed would be generous, it looked as if it'd fall down if he so much as poked it hard, and the inside was as equally uneventful. Rusted tools, that was just about all that was in there, he had no need for tools he already had a set of tools and they were in a much better state than these, all in all it was quite a boring beginning to his adventure.
From there however things perked up slightly, there seemed to be three other buildings, the closest were a house and what appeared to be a silo, further out there was another building although Kell wasn't fully sure what it was from this far. The house seemed more likely to contain something interesting, it was a house after all rather than just a silo for storing food, so that was what he'd picked as his first destination. Between him and his destination however was a single salamder. The last time he'd come across a salamander he'd ended up with a lovely scar on his hand to show for the encounter, this time though he was far better prepared for it.
He'd decided to use this as a testing grounds of sorts, it was far enough away from anywhere populated that he was very likely to be the only one around, and even if he wasn't there was no way to link him back to his lands. Combat magic was something that he needed to test out eventually, and a minimum risk situation out here one on one with a salamander was probably the safest way to do so. It wasn't much of a threat and if worst came to it he had several other precautions and a couple of very sharp swords.
Kell gathered wellspring energy in his outstretched palm and formed it, much like he had when he'd blown out the candles except with far more power to it. Any observing would see his eyes burning silver and a similar glow coming from under the armour on his arm where his symbols lay, although that would end as soon as the shot of energy was released and sent hurtling at the salamander. Assuming it survived the first attack he'd then fire a second, and if needed third at the lizard. The sudden drop in his pool was quite alarming, however he had prepared for this, he had enough restorative effects that he shouldn't be facing major problems to soon.

The Salamander noticed Kell and started to slither towards him on all fours. The beast was fast, but not fast enough to dodge all of the mage's mana shots. One bolt pierced its side, leaving a gaping wound there that crackled and burned from the impact with weaponized wellspring energy. It ducked under the second bolt, and surged forward with its maw open sensing an opportunity. Before it could attempt to bite the young half-Drokagr, he managed to hit it with his third blast, blowing its shoulder away and dismembering it. It's left forearm flew a few meters away, and the creature promptly died on the spot. SalamanderHP: 0/160 -162 Stm: 15/15 MP: 53/53 Kell Receives +1 Stat point. His test had been a complete success, the salamander had fallen to two of the shots of wellspring energy that he'd fired towards it, one had missed it's target but still he'd definitely gotten the result he wanted. In short order, a knife was produced and the bones, flesh, teeth and scales were removed and stored away, underneath where the salamander had been he found a spear that seemed of relatively good make that he also stored away. Parts of the salamander were littered about, especially one limb which had flown away a fair bit, it seemed that wellspring energy was a much more destructive force than he'd anticipated. It was satisfying that his first experiment with combat magic had been a success, but still he held no illusions about what would happen if there were a larger number of enemies, or if they were more dangerous than the mere salamander he currently faced.
The drop in his pool from the three bolts was still quite severe, he could feel his pool refilling with help from the various items he wore, but still it'd be a while before it was full again, if all went smoothly he wouldn't have much use of it in here as hopefully his sword would suffice. If it didn't then he'd have to try out some more, not that he had a huge amount of other applications for it, practical applications required time nad much refinement and he'd not put much into it yet so for now the bolt would have to be his staple.
Once he'd taken his analysis and his loot from the first Salamander Kell would then continue towards the farm house and try to pper into it, sword drawn and ready, the Salamander had been out in the open and easy to spot, inside the farm house, however, he couldn't be sure what he'd be facing at all. That was, of course, assuming there was something in the farm house, for all he knew all of the Salamanders and danger could be outside, fat chance of that though. Looking first seemed the most suitable idea, if he could spot anything in advance it would surely be a help later.

The Farmhouse
As Kell looked into the window he would find that it was too full of cobwebs to see anything. Behind him, between the shed and the farmhouse another salamander came into the area. It was far enough away to leave him alone, but close enough to be watching him. The other salamanders remained in their respective areas.

The farmhouse was so choked with cobwebs from what he could see that it was in fact all that he could see. Trying to get a little preemptive look had failed, that now meant that essentially he was going to be going into this one blind which bothered him, going in blind was far riskier than he'd be hoping for. If it was the same on the inside as it appeared from the outside then this was likely to be a fruitless endeavour to have to look inside, but for the sake of being thorough he was still going to go in.
Unfortunately when he turned once again to check the rest of the salamanders weren't running towards him he then noticed the newcomer, it didn't seem hostile towards him but rather just that it was watching him, it was slightly concerning to be watched by the salamander but if it wasn't currently a problem why should he make it one. If he attacked then it was a given the lizard would attack him back, but at the same time the thought of leaving it at his back as he went in bothered him, it could quite easily decide that once his back was turned it would then become hostile.
His better sense won out and he decided to take care of the enemy at his back first before going any further, turning and advancing towards the salamander with MageBlade in hand, as soon as he got within range for the blade he would slice at the lizard, aiming at it's neck in an attempt to take it's head from the body as he had the last time he'd physically attacked a salamander. If after the first attempt it still survived he'd try once again, and then if that failed also...well he'd come to that bridge when he got there.

The Salamander was surprised by the rush that Kell had performed on it. As soon as the young half-drokagr's blade passed through the beast's neck it was over. It seemed that a basic physical weapon still worked as well as magic did, the sword passed through the lizard's neck as a knife through butter, severing the head in a single stroke and rendering his planned follow-up unneeded. Kell paused for a moment over his kill to check that nothing else was coming while he was focussed, and once he was sure that he was in no immediate danger he set to work with his knife again harvesting it, how on earth it had gotten a set of greaves in it he would never know.
Once he was done with the grisly work of harvesting the salamander Kell stood up once again and stretched his back to alleviate the cramp building after having leaned over the corpse for so long. It had once again yielded several parts that could be useful to him and each was stored in his pocket. Now that he was done with that however he turned his attention towards the farm house.
Now that the threat at his back was taken care of he could move forwards, Kell moved to the farm house's entrance, he'd tried looking in already and hadn't been able to see anything so now he was just going to have to go in blind. It was unfavourable but it would have to do really as he could think of no other way to see inside of the building from where he was, hopefully there wouldn't be much of danger in there anyway, it was just a farm house after all.
So saying Kell would enter the farm house and have a look around, on guard to the possibility of more Salamanders in the house with sword out and senses reaching out for as much warning as he could get were there any present.

The Farmhouse
It was a small farmhouse that perhaps a family could live in. It was one large continuous room from what could be told despite all the webs. The webs were so thick in fact that it would be difficult to move throughout the building. To the left was the kitchen, or what appeared to be the kitchen. On the right was a living space. Beyond that living space was the vestiges of a bedroom complete with a desk and dresser.

The inside of the farmhouse was actually quite boring it seemed once he was in there. The whole thing was covered in webs that hindered movement quite well, they were annoying to have to get through and the thought of so many spiders hidden in these webs crawling all over him possibly sent shivers down his spine. Well it was either that or it was the feeling of the spiders crawling down his back, but he was hoping that it was just a shiver and was refusing to accept the alternative as a possibility or he'd have to leave immediately. It took a lot of pushing and shoving and no small amount of hacking with the knife held in his right hand for him to clear through the webs and look around the house properly. There seemed to be very little of interest, it was just as any other farmhouse might be, there was some sort of area he assumed to be a kitchen, the remains of a bedroom and an open space he assumed was some sort of living room. All in all it was at least on a surface level quite boring, but he wouldn't know for sure until he looked properly. The kitchen was just to his left and by itself anyway so it became the first stop, Kell began to search about the kitchen opening everything that could be opened and moving everything that could be moved hoping to find something of interest at least.

The Farmhouse
Inside the kitchen Kell would find that all of the drawers and cabinets were locked. There weren't any keys lying around and it was strange that there were locks on these things in the first place. The table and chairs would be moved fine, as would the cooking pot and stand over the fireplace, but the rest of the objects seemed immovable.

Locked? He was in an abandoned farm house that was as far as he could see only populated by spiders and some surrounding Salamanders, and the cabinets were locked? Unless the salamanders and spiders had somehow evolved and figured out how to lock things for themselves then someone else was around, that or they'd been locked for a hell of a long time, everything else he'd been able to search fine but these drawers and cabinets not so much. The problem with putting a lock on something is that people will invariably want to find out what it is that is so special that it's had to have been locked up, and this was true here as now that Kell had seen they were locked he was far more curious as to what they contain.
In a short search of the kitchen he could find no keys for these locks, but that didn't mean they weren't elsewhere in the house, and if he couldn't find them at all then he could try and force them, but he'd prefer to leave that as a last option for if there's no keys about.
Next up Kell moved over to the living space, repeating his actions there and searchign every nook and cranny, maybe the keys had just dropped down the back of a sofa or something, that would be a nice surprise.

The Farmhouse
There were no keys to be found anywhere. They were not behind the sofa. They were not under the lamp, or under the table. They were not under the sofa, nor under the rug. They were not among the ashes of the fireplace, nor on the window sill. They were definitely not in the pottery, nor were they among the rotting bed frame. There were no keys here or there, there were no keys anywhere. Not a key here, or there, high, or low. The cabinets remained locked, and locked they will remain.

He searched high and low, near and far, down the back of the sofa even and yet there were no keys. These cabinets must be locked for some sort of reason surely, and the lack of keys just made him want to get at them.
Kell returned himself to the locked cabinets, seemingly the only thing of interest in the farmhouse, it would bug him later if he didn't have a look at what was inside of them, and the keys were locked so that left more brutish or inventive methods to be used. Unfortunately for the cabinets and drawers in question the only real way he could think of to open them up was in fact by smashing them with something heavy and hoping for the best.
A problem however was that he had no blunt force weapons on him with which to smash the locks, so instead he drew his old shortsword and donned his gloves, smashing the hilt of the sword into the cupboard's lock. If he didn't succeed in simply breaking the lock then he'd likely break the front of the cupboard, either way he'd get inside of it.
