Player characters are now regulated to Alliance factions, Neutral, their own faction, or The Great Fleet of Ansai. This was done to keep players more or less on the same side and give a common goal.
Lore rationale: -Player characters that are Half-Elkagr would not be accepted as part of the Empire of the Highborn for their impurity, and the empire is currently at war with humanity. The SKC will summarily execute anyone of elven blood.
-Player Characters that are Skaldi can not fight for the Empire of the High Born as they are viewed as lesser creatures. The SKC will summarily execute any Skaldi that is not a slave in the service to a master.
-Player Characters that are half-Drokagr would be summarily executed by both the Empire of the Highborn and the SKC.
-Player Characters that are Human will not be accepted as part of the Empire of the High Born as they are not full blooded Elkagr. All human player characters have escaped conscription by the SKC or join it as a spy or operative against it.

As of 12/19/16 stamina has been modified to the following.
Actions cost 1 stamina each. (Combat) Stamina recovers at a rate of 5 per turn when the character is at rest (ie, waiting, sitting, generally not being physically active). No passive drain for posting.

As of 4/17/2017 the starter quests have been updated to reward knowledge instead of basic stats and gold. Their narrative has also been updated to fit the current storyline better.

Regarding enchantments; item enchantments must be a passive effect unless they fall under one of the following categories:
1. Magitech 2. Issued by the administration as part of an item drop.
Example of a passive enchantment:
+10 fire damage +10 DR +4 move speed.
