"Yes, I am traveling alone this time." Actually, make that a permanent traveling alone status. Guinevere was just not wishing to speak of darker tides. The gifts and well wishing kept coming in. A few ladies would not give her a moment to grieve alone, her name and fortune were now prime for that taking. She was quite old for being single, and not promised as she was. It was about time she began to be hounded for making good on the gifts of her sex. "I will let them know." Now she had turned to lying about the problem, but it was refreshing to be left alone about her problems.
Had she wanted to let Ma'am know? Yes?
Was it left to the eventual spread of rumor? Yes.
Twenty-nine days, and with a new month started a new season.
The pure-blooded elf had left her ear, and started helping another set of customers. But that was fine, and the large stack of papers yet again opened. The last details, and closing accounts of her parents. Money needed to be changed into her name, and accounts closed or terms changed. These numbers made her head swim, but thankfully she had people for this. Guinevere just needed to review, and sign the papers. There was no better place to do so than this Inn, she was comfortable here. Perched upon the bar stool, and attempting to pay deep attention to the confusing terms and rates of various loans. It seemed to be just getting harder to pay attention to the dance of numbers, as now her papers decided to fly at the hurried and agitated passing of a blonde haired female. The mess had been easy enough to clean up, and she straightened the papers once more. Perfect. Until another young El'lor brother smoked passed her, yet again ruining the order of her papers.
I think this is a sign.
Where was the other El'lor sibling? Not that it mattered.
Her black clad figure dipped from the bar stool again, it was a pretty simple dress black lace over a black under skirt. A corset set over her top half, black with little flowery designs over the shimmering surface. But her open sleeves were only made of lace. Red haired tied in a low and loose bun. Guinevere paused for a moment in the uncomfortable crouch. Waiting out the next likely hurricane.

A single sheet of paper blocked the man’s vision as he entered the hall. He nearly dropped the dirty glass that he had just retrieved from a finished customer in the backyard’s patio dining area. Stopping, as not to run into anyone in his current zero visibility state, the man took the paper from his face. He looked at it and, upon reading a recipient’s name neatly signed at the bottom, smiled. It was a name he recognized – as it was one of the only things that the half-elf could actually read - and always enjoyed seeing.
The name belonged to a frequent visitor at the inn - a pleasant lady who was both beautiful as she was wise. Guinevere Lyethe was the woman that Cassius El’lor had always admired.
Having seen the name, the man’s hopes were raised. Cassius looked about the bustling hall for the red-haired half-elf. He found her almost immediately. She had just slipped from the stool, her dress a waterfall trailing behind her graceful dip towards the ground. Though all of her actions seemed so smooth, elegant, Cassius was a better man than to let her kneel so low. He made his way over as quick as he could, making sure his movements would not bring the rush of air so briskly as whomever had rudely brought it before.
“Let me, milady.” Cassius spoke softly – he always was rather quiet in his ways – and knelt on one knee. He reached for the papers, accidentally brushing her hand. He stuttered in his actions and gave her a shy smiled before carefully picking up all the papers.

Orange tinted eyes that led to browns as they closed blinked up at the blonde haired man. Milady. Her heart thumped loudly in its chasm. Milady. Her head overturning the phrase. Yes, this was a voice she liked. A quiet, and sometimes awkward man. But even his faint touch sent shivers up her arm. Guinevere had always liked seeing him grow, time was kind to him. Her hand pulled quickly away, and was shielded by her other hand impressing the memory of his touch deeper into the lucky hand.
"CASsius!" Controlling her tone before it had become too loud.
The surprise of her own reaction sent her shooting back up into full stature. Guinevere had even managed to outplay the meeting of her cranium with the lip of the bar. Guinevere had ignored harsher injuries on account of saving face before. But had totally ignored his offering of her papers, that was rather in the back of her thoughts at the moment. Her smile usually demure was just a slight bit wider than usual. A side effect of her parents no longer being near to hold her leash. This half-elf was a new woman. Or so she liked to think, with appearances to upkeep the leash was hard to completely discredit.
"It's a pleasure to see you again! You are looking well! How is the family?" This was the most unnerved Guinevere had felt im years. She blamed it on the entire mourning deal. It had her on edge, and plain sick of people. Which was a new feeling for this half-elf. Combined hands pulled tightly to her stomach.

“CASsius!” Hearing his name leave those lips was an honor. It made him wonder if he was worthy to say her’s. Though, he cringed when she hit her head. Despite it all, Guinevere kept her smile.
“Apologies for startling you, milady--- Guinevere…” Cassius tried saying it casually, having to catch himself midsentence for the immediate fallacy. He stood up then, having still been kneeling before her with the paper. Beside Guinevere, Cassius somewhat towered over her by half a foot. He felt a little unworthy to be looking down on his friend, but took a moment to admire her beauty. He felt as though he was a cloud looking down on a radiant flower. Truly, she had blossomed beautifully.
He hadn’t meant to be staring, but only realized his lasting gaze when Guinevere spoke. “It’s a pleasure to see you again! You are looking well! How is the family?” She sounded to be in a hurry – or at least, that is how Cassius perceived it. Perhaps she had caused some pain to her head in that encounter with the bar after all. He set the papers down atop the surface in front of Guinevere and smiled at her, “The pleasure is all mine, Guinevere,” He said more calmly with a warm smile. His blue eyes didn’t want to leave her, but he could see she was hurting over something. So he slipped behind the bar, “One moment please. I’ll get you a glass of water.” He put the dirty glass that he’d been holding all this time into the sink, leaving it for his brother to clean, and filled a clear crystal cup with water prepared water from the kegs. It was cold, having been chilling with the barrels in the snow all night.
Cassius returned to Guinevere with the glass and carefully set it on her other side, away from the papers, “Drink this. Hopefully, it’ll help.” He took a moment to remember what it was she had asked while he rounded the bar once more and sat on a stool next to her.
Settling his hands in the lap of his tunic, Cassius gave her a thoughtful smile followed by a deep sigh, “They are fine. I can’t believe how fast they grow,” He looked about the bar, spotting his brother Ventus almost immediately. He had that signature pout on his face – the one he got whenever he was put to work, “Ventus leaves for the Mardock Duchy tomorrow. He has been out of the academy for a year now.. He’s somewhat of a wild child. I think being put to work in a craftsman’s workshop will do him some good. And my sister,” Cassius looked around for Élise but did not see her. He had sent Ventus after her when she returned home in such a sorry state, but had that not worked? He wondered for a moment if things were truly serious and a bit caught up in his concern, nearly jumped out of his chair when someone poked him on the back.
Cassius turned to see Élise standing there with that usual serious expression, “Brother.” She simply said before turning to Guinevere, “Lady Guinevere. It is so good to see you again.” She greeted the lady with a deep bow before turning back to Cassius, “Ventus said you had something to help me with my studies.”
Now that wasn’t fair. Cassius had an idea in mind, but he didn’t plan on discussing it this instant. Especially not now that an old friend was here. The half-elf couldn’t – and wouldn’t – just send Élise away. He smiled a sheepish, apologetic, expression to Guinevere, “And my sister, Élise, has just recently been selected as an honorary knight into the Sovereign military,” Turning to Élise now, “Yes, I noticed that you were trying to learn the written form of Cruic and thought it would do some good asking around for a mentor in this. Unfortunately, I never learned the knowledge either, so I can not help you…” He glanced between Guinevere and the stack of papers that he’d just retrieved. Then he cleared his throat, “Guinevere, I hate to impose, but perhaps we can make a trade of sorts? I can talk with Ma’am about setting you up with the finest room at the inn and free meals for the nights that you need stay in return for helping my sister?” He also wished to speak with her longer, but knew that Élise would not let up until Cassius had found her some tutor.

Guinevere felt oddly calm in the shadow of his tall figure. Being around someone a friend, and not a prickly creature at best was reassuring. Especially a person not caught up in the drama of her day to day life. The hustle and bustle of the city life was relaxing, compared to the craze and fine tuned effort it even took to pen a letter. Every word and inflection of ink had to be carefully measured as to convey the right message. To top it all of now, she was the newly elected Lady Mayor of Viktoria. Now she had bills and disputes to settle in all her time, and this trip to Fordeth was already costing her. Rather than just a suitcase of clothes, she had a suit case of documents that needed to be overlooked.
As Cassius had moved to retrieve a kindly glass of water, Guinevere had let her own gaze wander. The female didn't need to see the stool to place herself back on it, so she looked at something much more worthwhile. The slight sway of his hair, the working of his arm muscles, and a hint of his backside.
"Thank you." Taking a sip from the cold glass as it was passed a safe distance from her papers.
"I thought that was here passing in a huff earlier. Nothing too permanent I would hope?" Asking out of sincerity, of the flattery she was keen to use none of it was for this situation. Her smile had even left for a moment, Cassius's concern was surely her own. Guinevere had even found her elbow moving toward his sde. Until the moment his sister happened upon him, Guinevere's hand reached to hold in her chest. "Likewise future Ritgr Elise." The smile toned down to a more demure one. The red-head couldn't honestly admit to being entirely happy for the intrusion.
Guinevere listened with little interest about the next little bit, until her name was again mentioned. Did she want to teach the woman before her, or rather could she even teach? Certainly more pressing matters were before her, like the details of her parents accounts. The papers she had an extra suitcase for, mourning alone....or even catching up with an old friend. Cassius would like it if I helped Elise. For her friend she would do it. "If you would like, though I am inexperienced at teaching. I would surely try." This task could easily occupy her time as well.

A heavy sigh of relief had left both El’lor siblings as Guinevere agreed to help Élise. Cassius was thankful to have been some use to his sister and Élise was relieved to quickly further her duties. Either way, they were both looking at miss Lyethe as though she was the goddess of light in the flesh.
“Thank you so much Guin,” “Thank you so much Lady Guinevere,”
The both of them said at the same time. Their azure blue eyes were twinkling with joy. Honestly the two wanted to hug her, but Cassius was a bit unsure of how proper a gesture that would be. So instead, he cleared those thoughts from his head and mentioned, “So shall I go prepare your room, milady?” He stood from the barstool.
Élise took his seat once she assumed he wouldn’t be sitting there again. She sat her journal on the tabletop and opened it to the second page, studying all of the letters there and lip-syncing their respective pronunciations.

"Guinevere." The word was hardly voiced above a whisper. Part of her wasn't so opposed to it, but the situation called for remaining professional. She even looked to the table after saying it, feeling the slightest bit of shame for so hastily correcting him. A small part of her always had promised herself on never correcting Cassius for shortening her name, but it always ended up slipping from her lips. It felt like slapping him. At least watching him leave came with a little bit of sweet, something was so pleasing in watching the manner in which he walked away.
But soon blue eyes would return to the task at hand, as she glanced at the journal that belonged to Elise. Guinevere had managed to move her own papers over, and took a look into the journal. Well, it is was a start. Was among one of the kinder thoughts considering the journal. Mostly a good start, but with a few mistakes. What perhaps bothered her most was the capitals being practiced last, sure they were used less often but Guinevere felt they were much more important.
"So, it is a good start. Though, you did forget a capital P in your list." Speaking in a firm but gentle tone, dabbing her own quill into a pot of ink, "May I write them in your book so you may be able to practice the full set?" If allowed she would start the alphabet on a new page in order of a capital followed by lower case letter. Likely a bit more stylized than the half-Elkagr beside her would be able to practice for some time, as Guinevere's penmanship had grown more into an art form out of necessity. Guinevere did/would have tried to tone down the unnecessary parts she would add to each letter.
"Writing what you hear in Cruic, is structured in much the same way you would write. But as you may, or may not know punctuation is also added to that list." If allowed the journal she would also pen down a copy of common punctuation as well. Or on the back of one of her sheets of paper.
". , : ; " ' !" Is what the few marks of punctuation she would offer for the time being. Pointing at each one, and saying their name for her.

Catching that quick rejection of Cassius’ casual call, the elder brother felt an unfamiliar shot to his heart. The instinct to clutch his heart made his hand hesitate. He kept resolute in not making anything of this. It was improper of him to call her in such a way. She was a noble. He was a simple innkeeper.
Instead, Cassius just gave her an apologetic frown and returned to his duties. He took several orders, booked more rooms, and stashed the money before asking Ma’am about allowing Guinevere to have a free stay. She agreed, but only after scolding Cassius for offering that to anyone. He didn’t mind. It was worth Élise receiving the teachings. Though it wasn’t really about Élise getting a chance to learn from Guinevere. No – if Cassius were to confess, it was because he had wanted more of a chance to see Guinevere.
But he shook those feelings out of his head and made towards the upstairs to prepare her room.
Élise felt a little awkward. She could sense some of the tension even as she sat their with her nose in the journal. Though, she couldn’t tell what kind of tension it was. Hopefully, Guinevere wasn’t mad at her brother for the little shortening of her name. Élise would avoid calling Guinevere “Guin” at all cost.
Now, Élise was just watching the Lady’s expression stay solid as she looked at the Ritgr’s journal. She had been worried to see something akin to the disgust on her superior’s face. “So, it is a good start. Though, you did forget a capital P in your list.” Élise sat up a little straighter when Guin started giving her actual-helpful-feedback. She tilted her head, glancing into the journal and doing her best to make notice of whatever she was missing. She was pretty sure there was a line of “P”s in the alphabetical list, but didn’t reprimand her tutor. Perhaps she had messed up the form of the letters beyond recognition, “May I write them in your book so you may be able to practice the full set?”
To this, Élise nodded, “Yes, Miss! Please do. If you don’t mind, could you put it on a new page for the 3rd of Floras?” The Ritgr greatly appreciated how open her newfound teacher was being towards helping her learn. For many years now, Élise had been engrained with the idea of a teacher yelling, drilling the “right” and “wrong” into their students and punishing them when it was the latter. She wasn’t used to this gentle voice guiding her and offering advice in a way that didn’t involve getting smacked.
But never mind the past. Currently, the smooth appliance of letters leaving Guinevere’s pen entranced Élise. The way she wrote was beautiful and the blond half-elf was indeed envious, “Wow. Pretty.” Elise whispered under her breath. She wondered if her handwriting would ever be so skilled.
“Writing what you hear in Cruic, is structured in much the same way you would write. But as you may, or may not know, punctuation is also added to that list.” Élise was curious about this. She hadn’t learned anything about “punctuation” yet – so she nodded to Guinevere and smiled with enthusiasm, hoping she would continue to write and show her. Allowed, Guinevere continued doing as she had hoped in the journal. Élise listened to the explanation of each, “. , : ; “ ‘ !” Each had a practical explanation and Élise made sure that she would use them in her practice.
“Oh! What about when asking a question? Is there a specific punctuation for that? Or do I just use a ‘period’?” Elise rested her face on her propped up hand.

"Just don't worry quite yet about how the letters look, learning how to use them is of much more importance." Responding shortly to that statement. Hoping to guide her away from how the letters looked. The Ritgr would do better to not pay attention to the fancy curves of letters, besides that could easily meddle with her ability to read them. The blond woman could perhaps be spared from reading the caligraphy and cursive of more offcial scripts. Not even beginning to mention writting and reading Arcane Cruic, technically Guinevere wasn't even supposed to know the language. Nope, Guinevere was in no way to appear to have any knowledge of the Arcane. Not even around those she may have trusted the most.
"That is a good question!" Playing off the slight mistake easily. Guinevere reached across and drew a question mark on the page, inline with the rest of the punctuation. "You use a question mark when it comes to asking a question, so they know the intent of the sentence. Knowing the difference between what you mean is crucial to passing and receiving information."
Guinevere was glad that Elise was deciding to pay her this much attention. The red-head wasn't going to ask this now, but had wondered how a Ritgr in the service to a Lord or Lady did not know how to read or write. Orders she assumed were part of the daily life of a soldier. I just wonder who she serves under. Sure Elise could easily hear it by word of mouth, but not having such a knowledge would surely prevent her from ever becoming promoted. This was best kept to herself, as she wished to not offend a second El'Lor sibling.
"Next, I will give you a set of numbers. Something you are likely familiar with, but they are also important to recognize in written form." Guin didn't know where to quite go with this lesson, but thought numbers simple enough. Once she had the ability to write each letter and number they could get down to the harder parts of writing, grammar and sentence structure. She would then write each number in numerical form, with the name listed under it to ten. "I am only writing up to the number ten, but it'll give you what each individual number looks like."

Guinevere was right. What was important now was actually learning to read and write, not learning how to make words she didn’t even know how to spell yet look pretty. What Élise needed most was to do her job properly, not fancifully. When it came to performing the duties of a Ritgr, being efficient would be key. If that could not be achieved, then the job was pointless.
“That is a good question!” Guinevere had exclaimed, making Élise feel rather proud for having asked, “You use a question mark when it comes to asking a question,” Oh, well that seemed practical enough. Now she felt a little silly for not having guessed that herself, “So they know the intent of the sentence. Knowing the difference between what you mean is crucial to passing and receiving information.” Élise nodded.
A little scenario played out on her head of a catastrophic situation. In her mind, two little towers sat across a long plain. One tower sent a bird with a note strapped tightly around his beak – which seemed a little off – to the opposite tower. Some blotchy character opened the note read, “We are under attack ‘question mark’” To which the man from the sent tower didn’t know whether he should use a ‘period’, ‘exclamation’, or what-have-you-punctuation. This all, of course, resulted in the massacre of both towers and the destruction of Élise’s little mind-movie.
The blond half-elf scolded herself to focus, narrowing her vision on the numbers currently being written inside of her journal. Once Guin was finished with the numbers “1 – 10”, Élise smiled at her tutor and thanked her.
“Thank you so much, Lady Guinevere. Perhaps I should practice with this for today. Oh! I know! Maybe you could help me write one sentence? Perhaps just for a reference while I practice?” Élise held her hand out for the quill and waited for the journal to be slid in front of her. She wanted to try writing this one using the alphabetical reference sheet, “I’d like to put an actual entry into my journal. I wonder if you could help me spell out, ‘Today Lady Guinevere taught me about the written Cruic language.’” Short and quant, it was all that need to be said at this time among the many helpful notes. Plus, it was really all she could fit on the page beneath all of the information.

"Yes, a sentence is fair." A few words was little, compared to what Elise would soon find she would need to learn. Perhaps I could send her a few books. She had a few books meant for children she could procure for the want to be Ritgr. Ones with exercises, and a list of word spellings to practice. Teaching her all of this would take much time, time she could not take. Guinevere may have wished to have more, as she felt she had already intruded. In one fell swoop she had managed to likely wound Cassius, and get him yelled at by Ma'am. After this night was over, it was probably time to leave Fordeth. Even if it meant staying up into a later portion of the night.
She handed over the quill, and slid over the journal. "There are a few rules I will tell you as you write. To start a sentence write the first word with a capital letter, like the 'T' in today. Proper nouns, mostly names or people, places, and some things including Cruic and my title of 'Lady' or yours of 'Ritgr', needs to start with a capital letter. 'I' when refereing to yourself is always written with a capital letter." Guinevere would watch as the El'lor wrote the sentence, and guided her with the appropriate spelling of each word. Giving a few short pauses to allow herself to drink the water Cassius had so pleasantly provided her. It would be too much waste to just let it set. Even the time it had taken to allow it to become a little warmer felt like a sin.
Otherwise she waited, glancing at her own papers with little interest. Other than just being filled with numbers hard to understand, Guinevere did not like the memories. Only a small gulp showed this, as a hand brushed back an escaping strand of hair.

While Guinevere pointed out the spellings, where to capitalize letters and the like, Élise wrote her sentence. When she was done, which took at least three minutes, she smiled at her work. “My brother’s right,” Élise said as she pointed at Guinevere’s name, “Your name is very pretty on paper. He knows quite a few names from the inn-book, but he’s always got a smile on his face when he reads yours,” Élise paused thoughtfully, “I’d been a bit busy to pay attention to the inn, but Cassius would always tell me about the guests. After how many times he mentioned you, I’m glad to have finally met you.” The girl would have gone on, but there was a stuttering behind the two that caught her attention.
Turning to see who was making somewhat startled cough behind them, Élise saw Cassius standing there. A few shades of red coated his cheeks to the tip of his ears. He had been standing there for the past couple of minutes, trying to figure out when to speak. He didn’t want to interrupt, but Élise was definitely out of line. She made her brother sound as though he was looking forward to when Guinevere visit, which was neither his business nor his place. Whether or not it was true – which he wouldn’t admit to – he didn’t want Guinevere knowing that.
He’d begun coughing do to choking on his own breath in exasperation from his embarrassing sister. When she’d finally stopped talking and turned to acknowledge what was probably a pretty pathetic sound, Cassius was out of air. Eyes upon him, he tried to straighten up. He fixed his tunic collar and cleared his throat before saying, “Milady, your room has been prepared. If you are ready, I can help you carry up whatever you may have.”

"Ohh?" Voice breathless and a flutter. Dare she had hoped? But what could Elise know of his thoughts, after all her family was rich and it was a good idea to compliment those that paid words back in coin. The tips of cheeks began to turn a shade of crimson, though thankfully dulled by the blush on her cheeks for what was coming next.
The Lady's back straightened, well from the slight angle she had taken in her shepherding of Elise's lesson. Her hand moving to grip at grip at the base of her neck, curling into a tight fist. The usual smile turned into an unsure frown, flipping back and forth in her attempt to restrain her emotions. Guinevere did not need an accident in such a public place, she had done well in not accidentally delivering a shock to Elise in practicing their lesson. Things were a little out of the control for her, and this scare had caused her hand to charge with energy.
"I do have an extra bag, if you do not mind." Words could always patch anything, and changing the subject here could make this moment of awkwardness disappear."Or my guards are around here to help me as well." They were somewhere, but she had released them earlier to do as they pleased. Guinevere felt safe enough to be left here in peace. Besides, they needed time to relax as well as her. Had it been almost a month already? Some of the men were mourning just as she was.
To impeede further embarrassment on Cassuis's part, or further blushing on hers she looked at Elise. Finally containing it to a cordial smile. "Thank you for doing me the kindness of putting up with my teaching. Perhaps I can have word books, with pictures sent for you. If you don't think it too childish." Guinevere slide from the stool to the wooden floor, pulling at the handle of her suitcase filled with papers. She would feel too guilty making him carry the heavy cases of the two, if she could not manage both. Her other hand shooting for the case filled with her clothes, maybe she wouldn't give him the chance.

Élise caught the two avoiding eye contact. Guinevere seemed to straighten up significantly when Cassius spoke and her brother, likewise, was acting more straight-laced than his usual casual self when dealing with a customer. Her eyes twinkled and she wished Ventus were here. He’d know just what to do in this situation. Without her mischievous younger brother around to give the two a push, Élise couldn’t bring herself to perhaps cause some mayhem.
She assured Guinevere that her teaching was wonderful and that she very much enjoyed it. She didn’t think the picture books with words would be childish at all, but kept her voice low. She knew that her duties called for learning at least this knowledge, but didn’t want Guin finding herself in trouble because she owned novels.
After all that, Élise excused herself. She waved goodbye to Guinevere for the time being and made her way upstairs once more to her room. There, she collapsed on her bed, but more relieved than she had been earlier today. She stripped off her armor and relaxed in her tunic, sitting up in bed by the candlelight to study the new pages of her journal.
Still downstairs, Cassius had reached for her extra bag as soon as she’d mentioned it. However, he also went for the clothes bag just as she reached for it. He hadn’t intended to give her a chance to carry anything. It was the least he could do for slipping up earlier. Only, Cassius brushed hands with Guinevere. Snapping straight up with the case in his other hand, Cassius turned around to hide his heated face.
“Now if you’d just follow me, Milady, I’ll show you to your room.” He said, doing his best to keep a calm-even tone.
He would then walk at a perfect pace across the hall, up the stairs, and down the west corridor to Guinevere’s room. Cassius would set down the bags for about thirty seconds, just enough time to pull out a key ring, unlatch the Lady’s marked key, and unlock the door.
“Here we are,” He’d say as he opened the door to a spacious room with a full-sized bed pressed against the center wall. Inside would be a nightstand accompanying the bedside along with a desk and chair near the window.

"Thank you." Words but a slight whisper. Her nodded in return as Elise left. Glad to think she seemed in a better mood.
With nothing in hand, idle hands were left to play. By play she meant placing the contents of her wallet behind the bar, doing so in a way that Ma'am would notice. She didn't want Cassius in any sort of trouble, and even teaching Elise what precious little she had managed to had not been enough to make her deserve a room. A little extra was just something she felt she owed them. Few other places in her life did she ever feel this comfortable, it was a little paradise of calm. In the same motion she would swoop up her papers, carefully grabbing her own pot of ink with the pile. That could not be forgotten.
"I apologize if they are heavy. I brought along far too many papers, and collected twice as many here." Feeling guilt for the weight he must of felt from that case, and to pick it up twice. And now speaking to hopefully make him not think much of her brief absence. Guinevere thought it was fair to need time to gather her things left on the bar, they were a little confidential after all. For now the rest of the short journey upstairs could be enjoyed in silence, if he so chose. Guinevere had managed to be a little more of an annoyance on his end, just hopefully Ma'am would keep the payment of the room to herself until Guinevere at least had the chance to vacate the room or Fordeth. Depending.
"It's charming" Glancing into the room. But the Lady did have yet another question for Cassius. "I have yet to see your foster father, how is he?" Taking the lead to start heading into the room, the papers in her arms were a little slippery to hold. She would attempt to slip in the door space between Cassius and the side of the door, or follow behind him if he had proceeded forward. Either way, her destination was setting the papers on the desk next to the window. Daring a peak out into the street.
