"I don't like being in danger! How is it so hard to understand that I want to help the people fighting for my right to live?"
Fyrra stood up and started walking out of the tavern. Merrake stood up and started digging coins out of her pocket. She put the required amount for her juice refill on the table. Picked up her cup and down it. She looked flushed and panicked. Before Merrake could reach the Kalimbra she was already out of the tavern and in the streets. Merrake looked back at Rithaleya and shrugged.
"Sometimes she's troublesome. See you around."

Rithaleya returned the shrug. "Good luck, then." She almost considered telling Merrake she still owed the Kalimbra a favour, but she didn't mind letting that slide. It seemed too late to ask what the adventure they went on that day had to do with aiding the righteous, or what kept her from helping in less dangerous ways, such as tutoring. Rithaleya didn't mind, though, it all meant more for her. She relaxed, heading off to the bath when she was done her meal.
