A small sigh of relief escaped Sungale as Furia said she liked the shop, the smile finding its way back onto her face. Good... It seemed as if they were on the right track. That was good... though she felt a bit awkward just standing around as Furia looked, so she decided to look herself. At first glance, she didn't notice too many new things, but now that you mention it, that one bedside table looked rather nice... Oh, and bench would look just lovely in front of her pipe organ! Her old one was getting rather old, after all. She sat herself down onto it and shifted, impressed by its sturdiness and comfort. Perhaps she would be making a purchase for herself, after all...
~"I'm sorry if... I um... embarrassed you back there. I lose my temper sometimes."~
Sungale turned a bit over towards Furia, blinking at the rather sudden apology, blushing again. She wasn't used to this, usually, it was her having to apologize to others.
"Oh, it's... well... It's..."
'I accept your apology? No, too generic, and it sounds a bit cocky, to be honest... 'It's no big deal'? Well... I wouldn't say that, but...
Finally, after a moment to think, she looked away a bit and smiled.
"...It's fine. You did have a few valid points... and besides that, I am the elder sister of Gunlase Maicaleus."
In other words? She was used to being embarrassed by others. Indeed, Gunlase did have his share of outbursts and lack of respect towards others... and many times, it was often Sungale, the elder sister, who was left with cleanup duty. So this wasn't that big a deal... She just had to wait a bit before going back in that store. The clerk would probably forget, or at least forgive, that little mishap after a while.

"True."
Furia looked around the room, and found herself bored. So she invested herself more in the person that was helping her out, rather than the matter at hand. It was kind of a quick glance at the most, just a good once over if you follow. Furia felt a bit misplaced with the whole incident though. Instead of letting it hang at that she reached out to kind of poke Sungale on the belly, did so twice and then let her finger slide down.
"Don't think I acted like a fool back there, do you?"
Uh oh. I can see this getting a little weird now. Or at least for Sungale. Or maybe she'll not notice, or like it? What if she really likes it? Furia didn't want that. That'd be too much. She didn't like it when people went after her, she preferred to be in control!

Alright, before we get further into the sexytime here, there are a few things that I think that one should know about our Miss Maicaleus here.
One: She is a virgin, in every sense of the word. She had not been touched, grabbed, or even poked sexually by anyone before, man, woman, beast, whatever. The farthest that she had ever gotten with someone was when a rather drunk man made a comment about her body, which she barely understood over his slurring in the first place, so in my opinion, that didn't even really count.
Two: Even if she DID understand what that man had said to her that late afternoon, she wouldn't have quite understood the intention. Yes, she was a virgin both in body and in mind. She was no idiot, though. She knew about things. It's just that she didn't really think about them. What sort of lady would she be in that case?
Thus, considering this, her mind was somewhere between an extreme fit of flabbergastedness, embarrassment, and... curiousity.
Is... is this what they call... a bad touch...? Though... I mean... It doesn't really feel that bad, just... different...? Maybe...?
"Erm... ah... N-No... Not really... I-I-I-I mean... erm... y-you did have some... v-v-valid points...."
Sungale was completely embarrassed by this turn of events, her face redder than a ripe tomato. In fact, from her head spinning around in confusion like it was, she was starting to feel a little faint...
"...Sorry that took so long... Here they are then, ladies..."
Upon hearing Mister Marlon's voice from the other room, she stepped back from Furia and faced away, trying desperately to calm down and pretend that nothing happened. The shopkeep entered the main room again, along with a young apprentice, both carrying in tables. Once both were set down properly, Marlon stepped back to allow Furia to look at them. Both were of a very dark colored wood, carved and smoothed to perfection. One was of a squarish shape, with a simple design carved along the border and four legs. The other was round, with a more elegant design carved along the sides, and with a thick leg in the middle that divided and curled off into four different legs, keeping the table balanced. Marlon looked to Furia and smiled, seemingly rather proud of his work.
"If this isn't quite what you're looking for, I also do custom work. Most of my best work was custom... In fact, that round one was a custom work, but the customer canceled the order..."

The stuttering Sungale wretched Furia's chest all over the place. It was adorable. The other woman was so flustered that Furia was almost flustered for her. Furia started to move a little closer, her head reaching up, then..--- DAMMIT! GOD DAMMIT! That damn carpenter came in at just the right moment to see Furia get on her toes and try to get in for a close one. She went right back on her heels, hopefully faster than the guy would notice, and she was right, he didn't notice anything. Instead he started to talk about the two tables him and his apprentice had brought out. Sungale had turned away to be flustered.
DAMN YOU! I ALMOST GOT THERE! DAMNNNN YOOOOUUUU!
"I'll take this one with the four legs, it suits my needs and is quite appealing. You do make some really good furniture."
Furia was hoping for a good price. A fair price. If she picked the one that was a custom job for a previous buyer, then she'd get screwed with the difference on the custom job, she didn't want that. That would be unfair to her. So she picked the one that wasn't a previous custom order. Besides, she didn't like the idea of having just one leg anyway. It made her feel like if someone big stretched their legs out and kicked it, it would fall over and make things a mess.
"You like it Sungale?" Mmmm you know what I'm talking about...

Sungale looked over, her face still a bit red from their little "encounter" from before, and glanced over towards the table. A small, slightly forced smile came to her face as she looked at it, still a bit embarrassed to look Miss Furia or even Mister Marlon in the eye.
"I...It's very nice... looks nice and sturdy, too."
Of course, being the rather innocently-minded young noblewoman that she was, the Maicaleus was almost completely oblivious to any sort of sexual implications that Furia was giving off with her question. It was a rather nice table, though. A bit simple in design, yet it looked as if it would be able to fit into almost any sort of room.
Marlon was a little bit curious as to the rather crimson hue to Sungale's face, but asked no questions, and showed no implication that he was curious. As long as he had known her, this particular woman being embarrassed about something wasn't a very uncommon occurrence. Besides, asking about it would, as far as he knew, only increase her embarrassment, and as entertaining as that was, he didn't want to scare a longtime customer off.
"Ah, very good, very good... The price for that one comes down to... about two-hundred gold."

"I'll take it then. I'll have someone come pick it up for me later, but I'll pay you now."
Furia dished out two hundred gold to pay for the table and turned to smile at Sungale. She was glad to have the other woman along on the shopping spree. It meant that she was actually gaining friends that wanted to hang around her, other than Lan. Whom she suspected hung around her partially because he was her friend and partially because he was obligated too.
On the other hand, Sungale offered to go with Furia. That made her pretty happy. She also found the other woman's company quite pleasurable. Which meant that she would definitely be seeking Sungale's company more often. Yes, she wanted to see her more often. Wanted to. In all kinds of situations.

"...Y...Yes... that's fine."
Now starting to recover a bit from her embarrassment, Sungale's azure eyes looked up and met Furia's. A small, shy smile flickered across her face before looking to the side. Her face had mostly regained its regular color by this point, even though her mind was still rather rattled. Despite this, she did begin to wonder as to who Furia would send to fetch the table. Lan, most likely... but then again, with her status, she could probably get just about anyone to retrieve the furniture.
"Thank you very much, ma'am! You can have it picked up whenever you'd like, and please come again."
Sungale waited by the door patiently as Furia finished up her purchase. Despite her nervousness, she still felt the need to help Furia with her shopping. Despite Furia's temper, she seemed to be a very nice person, and rather fun to be with. Perhaps they could go out shopping like this some other time in the future, too! That would be nice.

With the purchase complete, and nothing left to be done but to call one of her boys (whichever she ran into first) to pick the table up she strolled right out of the shop, hopefully with Sungale behind her still, or in front of her, either way was fine. They could not however stroll out of the shop at the same exact time, there was no double door, and therefore there wasn't the space. Not to call either of them fat, it just doesn't work out to well when two people try to go through the same door at once.
"Where to next Sungale? Got any place you'd like to go to?"
Furia didn't want to dominate the day's events, like how she normally dominated her enemies, crushing them under her boots and moving on to something new to kill. The chance to be led around by Sungale was a pleasing idea, simply because then she'd get to know this new person a little better. That certainly was on her agenda of things to do.
Out in the streets she stared up at the open skies and watched a cloud pass by. It was a nice spring day, it seemed almost peaceful. If it weren't for the nagging voice in the back of her mind that told her what was going on in the world, she'd think everything was alright.

~"Where to next Sungale? Got any place you'd like to go to?"~
"Hmm..."
Sungale tilted her head to the side a bit and placed her finger on her chin in thought. She hadn't really planned to do too much today. She had just intended to take a little time off, not shopping for anything in particular. For a moment, she considered perhaps shopping for a bit of sheet music for her organ, but then again, she wasn't all that certain that Furia was the type to enjoy that sort of thing... and she certainly didn't want to bore her company! Such a catastrophe would certainly be a blemish upon the good Maicaleus name! ...Then again, Gunlase did a pretty good job at that already with his antics, but even so, she didn't want Furia to think of her as some sort of dullard! What else could they shop for... Hm...
"Erm... ah... c....clothes! Yes, I was hoping buy a nice dress or two while I was out... perhaps a bit more casual wear, since I've been spending a bit more time out of the house as of late... if that's alright with you."
Ah, yes, clothes. What red-blooded woman didn't like to shop for clothes? Unless Furia wasn't much of a dress person... but... well... she was sure that wherever they went, they probably made more than just dresses! Or maybe Furia did like to wear dresses every once in a while? Who knew? Perhaps she shouldn't think too hard about this... She hardly knew Furia's likes and dislikes as it was, so it was rather unbecoming of her to assume. Hopefully, though, Furia wouldn't be put off by her suggestion.

"That's fine with me, I like to shop for clothes. Could use some thing new."
Furia did not do dresses. She didn't like them, and she didn't look good in them. They felt too prissy, and she hadn't been prissy for a very long time. Not since the year that her father felt that it was a good idea to marry her off to some man, any man, to get her out of his house so that she could do something productive. Like make babies.
"Maybe a pair of house boots, or some nice gloves, or a scarf for when it gets cold..."
Avoid the topic of dresses, avoid the topic of dresses. Not that she didn't think other people looked good in them. She just didn't want to try any on. She also wanted to avoid cosmetics as much as possible. If one of her underlings saw her, they'd never let her live it down. The tough girl image was one that was easy to break, and hard to forge. She felt vulnerable in almost anything with a skirt anyway.

"That is a good idea, actually... I should probably get some warmer clothes myself."
Sungale nodded, noting that her companion didn't seem to gravitate towards the more dressy feminine wear. Given, this was perfectly fine with her, nothing wrong with a woman wearing pants, that's for sure! Of course, the way that she grew up, she just sort of gravitated towards the more prissy things in life... she just hoped that she didn't offend Furia by accidently suggesting that Furia would look better in a dress! Furia looked perfectly fine the way that she was. Of course, that wasn't to say that Furia would NOT look good in a dress. It didn't have to be something excessively frilly or anything, no, not at all... Furia didn't seem like a frills sort of girl. Just something light and casual would probably look rather fetching on her...
Sungale blushed a bit as she realized how her mind was drifting off in the company of her superior again... This was not very friendly of her at all. She shook her head, her face flushing with embarrassment.
"Ah... I'm sorry about that! I...well... erm... how... about... How about you choose the store this time? Since I chose it last time... I'm sure you know plenty of good places to buy clothes."

"Well, we could go down Lombard to this little shop on a corner called Giena's. They've got some really nice things in there from what I've seen while window shopping."
Furia didn't do much clothes shopping. She was about to change that because it a lot of her clothing had been damaged through all the combat that she's been participating in. Mending the shirts and the like just weren't enough some times. Those clothes that were unusable she turned into field dressings and gave them to the recovery center to make use of.
Giena's was a nice shop indeed, and Furia started walking in it's general direction. The shop had a large section for women, because they seemed to realize that women did a lot more shopping for clothing than men did. Or hat men were easily more satisfied by tailored clothing.
Then she spotted a vendors stand that sold candied fruit, or something like it.
"Sungale... candy.... sweets...."
And she pointed in the direction of it. All girls spoke the language of sweets.

Giena's... The name sounded familiar. Perhaps Sungale had heard someone mention it, or perhaps she had seen it before. In any case, she trusted Furia's judgment, and thus followed the Bronze Knight towards their destination.
While on the way, she began to wonder to herself about how Furia would feel about wearing a dress. Of course, it was not Furia's usual attire, and what Furia wore already was fine, but she had to wonder as to why she didn't wear anything all that girly. She supposed that part of it was because it might mess up that "tough girl" image that she had going for her... but why did she have that image in the first place? Of course, she very well could have acted like that naturally, which was fine, but if she was just being herself, why would she worry about her "image" anyways? Then again, perhaps she simply didn't like wearing dresses. It was quite possible... Perhaps she shouldn't be thinking about Furia like this. She didn't want to form any biased opinions or anything like that about her new friend, after all...
Thankfully, she was pulled out of her little mindset as she heard Furia mention something about "sweets". Sungale perked right up at that, dark azure eyes wandering around until they settled upon a vendor's stand who seemed to be selling candied fruits.
...Sweeeeeeets...
Forgetting that she was in public for a brief moment, her tongue subconsciously sneaked out and wet her lips in anticipation. She looked back at Furia, nodding, and her eyes shining with eagerness.
"Sweets."
There was no avoiding it... whether they wanted to avoid it or not.

"Yea."
Furia moved on over to the cart and surveyed the goods. It was a good thing that people still spread joy in this way, candy usually appealed to children and made them happy. She bought a couple of lollipops and candied apples herself, stuffing a couple of those in a bag. She saved one apple and bit into it, and moaned. It was delicious, mouth watering, candy and caramel goodness. Furia laughed and looked at Sungale.
"This is going right to my ass."
Then she bought a bag of candies for the road and waited for Sungale to finish up her order. The joke about her figure getting ruined was partially serious, Furia was going to do some training later. It had been a month at least since she had done any. It was about time to get serious about becoming a Black Templar Captain.

Sungale's mouth had already begun to water as soon as she had even seen the sweets stand. There was so much to choose from... Caramels, taffy, lollypops... and those candy apples. Sungale had, believe it or not, never really had a candy apple before. They looked so delicious, though! As soon as she saw Furia take her first bite, the young woman, red-faced and entranced, was positive that she had to buy at least one. At Furia's next comment, her face turned a little more red, and she attempted to suppress a smile. She turned right to the vendor and placed her order.
"I'll have what she's having! ...Erm... ...please... and... a bit of that taffy, if you don't mind..."
She quickly added the last few phrases, almost having forgotten her manners. As soon as she got her candy, she stuffed most of them into her robes for later (after making sure that they were properly wrapped. After all, she didn't want Milly to have any special sticky surprises when she washed her clothes later on) and unwrapped the delicious-looking candy apple. It looked so good, it would be almost a shame to eat it.
Then again... how do you eat a candy apple?
Sungale then realized that she had a bit of a dilemma on her hands... or rather, in them. She so desperately wanted to eat the candy apple... and yet... how was she to do it? She was certain that if she took little nibbles, she would definitely not get the full impact of the deliciousness that was the candy apple. However, if she went and took a big bite, and in public...! That would seem quite unladylike! And what if she got caramel and candy all over her mouth, and no one told her?! She would die if she found out later that she had been walking around on Lombard Street with a sticky face! She stared at the apple with confusion and a hint of sadness, so desperately wanting to experience its juicy, sweet, candy, caramel-y goodness, yet unsure how to do so.
