((ooc/ This is a Ranger CST for Dagon. ))

Dagon marched silently along with the rest of the squad. The wall of Helkorth Fortress Town loomed ahead, the top disappearing into the fog. The gates lumbered slowly open for them with a grating noise. They were impossibly large, and Dagon marveled at it as they passed under. It was amazing to him how human men could build such a towering wall. They must've had a huge amount of manpower to have done it, and it had to have taken years. And ever since the Demon King had arisen and the fortress turned to darkness, the undead had been adding to Helkorth's defenses. Now the city was nigh impregnable.

But now they were out of the city, heading north into the wild unknown of the Shattered Plains. Dagon and the squad were on a routine patrol mission. He had just been transferred to a new Traitor Legion unit. It was still a new unit, yes, but it wasn't still in training; they actually were a functional part of the Traitor Legion. They went on patrols, missions, and followed any orders given to them by command. And, when it came to battling the enemy, they would probably be sent in first as sword fodder. It kinda sucked, but it beat the hell out of the training unit. And Dagon didn't intend to die, especially after he just drank that longevity potion at the Recovery Wards last week. He got his lifespan lengthened by it, and had been bedridden for two days straight after that. But now he was tougher and he'd outlive other humans.

So yeah. Dying wasn't going to be part of Dagon's future.

Gotta concentrate on the patrol.

The squad was moving off of the road. Their patrol route would take them over the dead wastelands to the northwest road, and then back to Helkorth. The patrol probably would take three full days to complete. And it was before dawn, now.

Damn, this is gonna be a long walk. Just keep your eyes open and perform above expectations.

Welcome
Welcome to Cruinthe War, a Dark Medieval Fantasy RPG. The game is set in a kingdom on the brink of destruction by untold horrors, monsters made from the stuff of nightmares, and heretical creations from beyond the grave. A legion of bloodthirsty demons, vampires, and various undead threaten to overrun the kingdom of Cruinthe at any given moment. Only the brave defenders of Cruinthe stand in their way, fighting the bitter and bloody battle to their last breaths.

Date and Season
The year is 1053, the month is Ausoris, the season of Summer. Summer in Cruinthe is a season that is hot and humid. Unlike the dry season to come, the air is thick with evaporating water that was left over from the rainy season. Summer is the month where magical creatures are most active, due to random concentrations of magic in the air. It will rain suddenly, the temperatures can get up to one hundred and ten degrees, and the sun shines brightly for many days straight. Happy Hunting Cruinthe!
